Oh my gosh! Today Baby Joyce has been honored with this careful restoration. Thank you so much! The little angel is so pretty and looks so fresh!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
First time seeing any of your videos. It caught my attention because my name is Joyce. You are doing a great service that goes unnoticed to many. My mom and I try to keep 7 headstones cleaned in our family that are nearby. Shes 91 now, but we don't back down. It's pure respect. Thank you for your service in the military ❤
I have cleaned at least two Joyce's now. They are both uploaded and if I recall, they both came out looking great. Thanks for taking a little of your time to watch us and leave this comment, Joyce. We really do appreciate it.
Also your mother sounds like an absolute machine! I love that. Ronin’s great grandmother is 93 or so and still out in her garden every single day. I love to see it.
The sound of the children is amazing to hear, into day’s world we just don’t hear that anymore. Cemeteries are fun place to ride your bike as long as stay on the road I just found your videos, very nice to care for them who passed
I’m way late turning in to your channel, you have probably been asked many times previously what are you using presently to clean stones, without bringing harsh damaging chemicals ? It looks a amazing
Whenever any of us cousins would go to our grandmother's house she would always lecture us to "stay out of the cemetery because it is not a playground." Of course that made us want to go see what was so forbidden. Then, of course, someone would call her and tell on us. 😄 Great memories.
We were just at the cemetery cleaning a couple new stones and I found one and today is the little boys death date. Very sad. But yes….I’m sure Joyce would be smiling on today.
I lost my Aunt Joyce a couple years ago. She graduated high school when this baby Joyce was born. Joyce was not a very common name and my aunt liked her name very much. So on behalf of those Joyce’s thank you. And on behalf of the veterans since I’m one too (USAF) thank you sir for all you do. It is greatly appreciated.
My mom Joyce just passed January 31 of this year and she was born in 51. It looks like it was posted around her passing. This is the first time I’ve turned on her tablet and this was the first recommended video. Her name was her moms last name and we have a lot of family in Pennsylvania and Virginia. This may be a relative of mine. Feeling someone watching over me.
Thank you for caring for the headstones of those who may not have anyone left or have been forgotten. You're efforts and respect for them ought to be commended.
You have probably already seen it on other grave stone cleaning videos but they use bamboo skewers to clean out the lettering as they are the ideal size and won't damage the stone in any way.
@kirbappeal182 I have used them myself and they work very well as the moss can be very hard to shift in the lettering and it saves the wear on your brushes for cleaning the flat parts of the stones. Another one cleaned and a child remembered.
It's too bad. Lowes doesn't sponsor/donate your kind work. Supplying brushes, chemicals, sprayers, or whatever else you may need. They sure do get alot of good P.R. with their logo on your bucket...P.S. Thanks for sharing...🥰
Hahaha...how great would that be?! But no, everything we do is out of my pocket. Some amazing viewers on here have helped out though with some supplies and donations. It has been very cool seeing how much some of you all enjoy our content.
Baby Joyce is 2 years younger than me! She is now 67 years of age. Thank you for all the special care you do on these graves. You’re so kind. Love your Chanel ❤️
It just wrenched my gut to think of the pain of losing a three year old. Any age is too soon for your child to die, but I remember my children at three. Such a delight. 😢
Having a baby in a similar area, surrounded by children who passed too soon…it was a beautiful thing you did, cleaning and sprucing up her headstone. Thank you.
Suggestion, get a beach wagon to put all your cleaning supplies in to wheel around the cemetery while you are cleaning. Easier than lugging all that stuff by hand.
You have my deepest respect and admiration for the amazing work you do with these amazing tombstones. I have cleaned many myself and I know it is very hard work, provided with great love and dedication. Keep up the great work! It is so greatly appreciated and so meaningful!
Your an lovely man cleaning little ones graves you work your magic on them and there an mazing when you finish them very very proud of you i'm from UK and just so your Chanel keep the good work up x
I love watching these videos and seeing others doing something I am also passionate about doing. As a veteran myself, and a NSDAR member, I thank you for the time you put in to preserving monuments.
Christopher it’s wonderful you do this, permission or not 🤭. I love the rinse when all the grime comes off and you see it all clean. Keep up the good work, you’re amazing! I’m a new subscriber from Ohio.💜
Christopher, You can get a tripod capable of lifting 500lbs for @ $120 on Temu, and with a small chain hoist and a couple straps to slide under the corners, you can lift those markers straight up and out of the way. Your back will only last so long doing those lifts!
We started with Veterans too. Then I ended up with massive family in the area. Then my husband can’t stand these babies grave’s so we do Veteran’s and baby’s/children now. We mainly just have lambs, I don’t think we have done any angels.
I live in a small town called west plains that is loaded with children as far as the schools goes but you literally "never" see them on bikes or playing in their yards its kinda sad
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival it could be that its not as safe as it use to be and law enforcement people would be after the parents for letting there kids out side by them self's because there are creepy people out there.
Ronin and I were visiting my mom’s grave back in December of 2022 and he asked if we had any other family there that I could introduce him to. So ronin got to meet his great grandmother (we cleaned her headstone a few months ago)and his great grandfather. Then I remembered my 8 year old uncle was there also. He was hit and killed back in 1971 getting off the school bus when a semi failed to stop. So we found his grave and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in decades. If ever. So he was close in age to my Uncle Jimmy and I could see the wheels turning in his head. He asked if I had any tools in my truck that could help clean it off for him. I just happened to, so he sat there for a good while cleaning it off for him. I pulled out my phone and recorded it for family, as I thought it was the sweetest thing. Then after he was done he said he wanted to clean more. So the channel was all his idea really. ☺️

Couldn’t agree more. I was out making new videos today and the cutting crew were there…watched them bump a few nearly off the bases and just keep on going. Really ticked me off.
I had a baby cousin in 1956 that died from mother having measles prenatal. He died the same day that he was born. Has a small gravestone in a cemetery. He's buried around other small children and infants. It's curious what such young ones die from.
I am sorry to hear of your cousins passing. Our amazing viewers on here have been wonderful on finding a lot of these little ones death certificates in order for us all to have a little bit of closure on what they passed from. Most have been natural causes, but sadly a few have been other reasons.
A lot of the newborns probably were premature or had heart conditions or other congenital problems that couldn't be corrected back then. President Kennedy's son, Patrick, died in 1963 from being premature, although he weighed 4.5 pounds. Today he would have survived, no problem, but he had hyaline membrane syndrome and there was no treatment for it then.
We use mostly an assortment of nylon brushes, but I have been using a horse hair brush lately and love it. The chemical we use to get them looking really nice is called D2.
How invasive is the laser cleaning? I’ve seen it done on metal but never a stone. Doesn’t seem safe in my opinion….so o don’t know if any cemetery would give permission for that. They don’t even like pressure washers.

We do use D2. I imagine we were out when making this video. Or we had used it half and half in our water jug….but I have gone back to this area several times and sprayed nearly all of them down with straight D2 afterwards. They look amazing now that it’s been a couple months or so. Check out our video where we name all of them one by one and show their updated headstone conditions. This one looks beautiful.

Thanks as always, Annie. Hope that’s ok to call you. Usually the angels don’t come so clean, but this one ended up great. I was pleasantly surprised.
I love that you have cleaned more than sixty children graves! You do such a great job too!😊

I use them all the time on older stones that has build up in the lettering. Once cleaned out, they look so much better.
