- What makes a protein bar right for you might not be the same for someone else, especially depending on what you enjoy or what your goals are. With everyone and their mother having an opinion on which protein bar is king on Tiktok, I decided to dive balls deep on protein bars. So today I will break down the macros, cost, Yuka score and most importantly, the taste of 14 common protein bars you can find most anywhere.

I absolutely love the built bar puffs! They have similar CTP, definitely a new staple in my home. Warmed up for 10 seconds it’s like having a s’more! Highly recommend the brownie batter flavor if you try :)

I haven't tried a lot of these but so far my favorite protein bars are:
Quest Hero - Cookies and cream
Quest Hero - Blueberry Cobler
Barebells - Chocolate Dough (love the texture of this flavor specifically)
There are others that are extremely hard to find or rare like Built seasonal bars but I am not gonna list them.
Kirkland and Quest are definitely my favorites. I might have to give the built bar a try at some point.

i would have to digress with the fitcrunch bars. i find them very tasty. also, pro tip…throw the built bar in the microwave for 10 or so seconds and thank me later man. i’d say it easily triples the flavor for me
I'm all about good tasting things ill give it a try! And fit crunch taste good it just really lacked in all other categories

also, I’d love to see a review of Dive Bars and other Barebells! I can’t do sugar alcohols at all 🤢 so barebells were hard to stomach!
Idk if he would agree with you, I think on previous videos he has mentioned that he has no problems with sugar alcohols, so he'd probably like them.
I do not understand how anyone likes Built bars!?
i like it, not because of the taste(which is alright) but more the texture. On a cut it keeps me full and takes awhile to eat.
They hurt my jaw so bad lol
to me they all tasted heavily of sugar alcohol and I could not get past that. I couldn't even taste what flavors the bars were supposed to be, all I tasted was sugar alcohol @@Kevessi

Youll have to try the cookies and cream quest bar. 190 cals, 21 protein, 1 sugar. Best tasting bar by far.
Once I get farther into my tiktok bar review series I'll revamp this with a complete top 10 👌

You look like white terry crews (sorry intrusive thoughts) also I finally found some pure protein bars vs the builder bar I had before very happy. Although there is a builder bar with caffeine which was kinda cool and it tasted like coffee.
how about the flex brownie batter protein bar?
The pb think bars taste like burnt peanuts. The no cow bars taste like barf. The cupcake flavored think bar and the chocolate mousse think bar are both decent though the mousse one is more candybarish.
I like the Think bars!!
And also I don’t really like the built bars! Haha. I do always get the peanut butter flavor tho!!

There should always be a centrist look on life in my opinion🙂 and I do solo bar reviews on tiktok and barebells is one of only 2 brands to recieve a 10/10 on taste and is my current best overall bar👌
The issue you had with quest is you got literally the worst flavour they offer. Birthday cake, cookies and cream, blueberry cob, smores, doughnut, and a bunch of others are WAY better and the same or very similar macros.

Thanks for jumping over! It's a great source of carbs and energy, just not protein. With my 10 to 1 rule I follow, I would personally avoid it though as I prioritize protein in everything I eat👍
Robert Irvine & Pure Protein are my 2 personal favorites. Yes Robert Irvine is higher calorie, slight less protein but kore expensive because you are paying for his name. The taste and texture is magnificent. Pure Protein is arguably most balaned. 190 or 200 calories for 20 or 21 grams of protein. Think is good but higher in carbs. Quest is very good for high in fiber but man I do not like Built at all

I eat rxbar, pure protein and simply protein. Simply protein was not good wasn’t bad but wasn’t good. I like pure protein but seems like too much chemicals. I like the ingredients of rxbar I have to try the Kirkland bars.
I agree with all of this. Simply protein bar was pretty much as "mid" as it gets. Pure protein taste good but had a ton of additives. Rxbar suffered from last of protein. And I am still a kirkland guy at this point🤷♂️

Interesting. I didn't like the Kirkland knock off Quest bars. I actually returned them. Thought they were too hard and difficult to chew. I do like Quest and One. I didn't like the Built bar texture. Didn't feel it was worth the hype.
I used to love Built bars, but I think they changed the recipe or something. They taste completely different, like they taste like plastic now. It's weird.

The best way I can describe no cow bars is that they taste like dissolved sandpaper would taste if you put it in your mouth 😭😂😂😂
What a disappointment you didn’t try the salted caramel Fulfil protein bar or the barebells bars. High Protein but totally like candy bars! Recommend
These are currently being reviewed one by one on tiktok as that's where I'm most active. I made this video with the most common protein bars I could find at regular grocery stores. I'll do a final top ten at the end of my review series on tiktok

Those Think bars are the worst tasting protein bar I’ve ever tried. I had to donate them.
No cow was the worst for me by a mile and nothing I've review on tiktok has even come close🤣
The Built bar was not even close to a chocolate flavor, it was waxy and the texture was like a gummy bear but not in a good way. I couldn't even swallow it. ICK!!! Quest will always be my tried and true for a snack. But only the ones without sucralose.

"Most everyone who works out "..? Hope not..not if they "think about health". High calorie, low protein or poor protein source., too much syrup, chocolate or sugar .candy of some kind. Quest protein bars are TOP TIER. Astonishing choice. (I've had Pure Protein & Kind protein bars...BOTH ARE TRASH. Not an OPINION.)
