Turkish guy here! Our country had three pillars that it stood on: people's democracy, absolute secularism and "peace in the country, peace in the world". We were once determined to not to repeat the same mistakes our ancestors Ottomans did. However for the last 15 years, Erdoğan has slowly destroyed our identity and changed it with his sick and twisted version of dictatorship. Now we have bad relations with all of our neighbors, our country is in turmoil and we're getting poorer by the each day while media puts our people to sleep with how glorious our army is. These "games" are just Erdoğan's propaganda. Greeks are our brothers and sisters, they were our allies during 1930-1940s and they were the first ones to respond during 1999 Istanbul earthquake, which a lot of us will never forget. I hope that one day we will stop being warmongering idiots and remember that we are allies.

I live on a Greek island. All I know is that almost every 4-5 days, sometimes even more frequently turkish fight planes fly over my house, in the city and are chased then by Greek fight planes. That's been going since i was a child so it makes no impression to anyone anymore. When the deafening sound of the f16 is heard everyone casually says or thinks:"turkish fight planes again, Greek ones will drive them away soon". That's the reality i know personally 2 decades now.

Turkish guy here! Our country had three pillars that it stood on: people's democracy, absolute secularism and "peace in the country, peace in the world". We were once determined to not to repeat the same mistakes our ancestors Ottomans did. I live on a Greek island. All I know is that almost every 4-5 days, sometimes even more frequently turkish fight planes fly over my house, in the city and are chased then by Greek fight planes. That's been going since i was a child so it makes no impression to anyone anymore. When the deafening sound of the f16 is heard everyone casually says or thinks:"turkish fight planes again, Greek ones will drive them away soon". That's the reality i know personally 2 decades now.
