Why do we collectively as a people still judge the strength of armies based on who has more numbers and who has better technology and weapons? I mean did we not see the outcome of American forces in Vietnam? Soviets in Afghanistan? Americans in Afghanistan?
The American forces in Vietnam were objectively stronger, and that is shown by how for every U.S. servicemen killed around 17 VC/NVA were killed. Vietnam was a loss due to poor political planning and terrible rules of engagement. There is literally no better way to judge the strength of an army other than basing it on numbers, technology and training.
You are trying to argue military strength of their ability to occupy. And occupation is nearly impossible. But if you look at military casualties, all of those conflicts were insanely lopsided and not against conventional military outfits. Ukraine is the perfect example of military might. The U.S. has provided Ukraine with weapons that gap the tech bridge between them and Russia. So it's been a stalemate. Isreal will be able to do far more damage to Iranian infrastructure than Iran can do.

What this attack shows is that it is possible to attack the enemy without killing civilians. How could 180+ missiles miss civilians? Maybe it’s because they don’t target civilians. This exposes Isrxel’s claims they can’t avoid civilians. In fact, they directly target them and it has been greatly documented
@@anneeq008 except for traumatic brain injuries to dozens of US soldiers, who all would have been obliterated into dust if Iran didn't warn the US of the strike beforehand. Iran, unlike the USA, was actually trying to avoid world war. You mistake virtue for weakness.
@@danghoangluong2942 they will be extinct in 4 years if the US stopped the aid, at least Iran is self reliant by managing to make their own equipment without any help, and Iran was not able to import any jets and tanks sense the 90s because of the arms ban by America and the UN, only a couple of years ago is when we started seeing imports again, now they have finalized the deal with Russia that includes 65 Sukhoi Su 35 jets that has capabilities better than the F16 and slightly less powerful than the F22 an F35.
And that makes IRAN exactly what???? they have asked Russia for their missiles back ..IRAN is nothing more than a corrupt murderous country who kill their women because they want rights...Iran is nothing
Here's some things to consider. Iran was NEVER built to be an offensive force. Like-wise with Russia. Iran doesn't need 500 jets or 50 Destroyers, and several Aircraft Carriers, because their sole purpose is defending the homeland. What is the most advance weapons Iran has? Missiles and drones. They are used to hit targets that are near their homeland without sending troops abroad. If there was EVER an invasion onto Iranian soil...Iran would have the upper hand because it has the man power, the artillery, and its biggest defense...the terrain. Nobody is going to conquer Iran. True, Israel and USA can bomb every city of Iran and cause hundred thousands deaths if not a million, but nobody is taking a population of 88 million. Now what do we know about the Israeli forces? We know they took a major hit against Hamas. Israeli reports show they lost 500 vehicles in Gaza including 40 tanks, 12 of them being completely destroyed. Israel also stated 77,000 soldiers are gone from combat due to physical, mental, or deaths. Israel mention they only had 100 deaths, but we know its much more. All of this is against Hamas, who doesn't have a single tank, aircraft, or ship. They causing Israel a lot with only small arms. As most military vehicles were destroyed by RPGs, landmines, and traps. Yes, Israel flattened the GAZA strip, but by no means have Hamas been destroyed after a year and there's still hostages they are holding onto. As the days are opening up on the front line against Hezbollah, Israelis are taken heavy losses on the front line. We know this because Israel has admitted they have a shortage of tanks and men including enacting Orthodox Jews to serve who were exempt from serving prior to the war. Of course Israel can flatten Lebanon as well with jets dropping bombs all over. But once again, it doesn't have the ability to conquer Lebanon. In a fight with Iran...Iran can also flattened Israel. We know this from Oct 1. Iran has missiles that can penetrate Israeli air defense. And it is noted on several resources Iran has over 200,000 Missiles and drones, 3,000 of them being ballistics. Even with the USA...Israel can see a lot of destruction. The real question for Israel is, HOW much offense will the USA and UK play in an all out war with Iran? Of course, UK and USA homeland will be spared, potential terrorist attacks, but nothing significant. HOWEVER, US and UK warships are highly vulnerable to Iranian missiles...this can cause a high US/UK casualty count. Again, Tehran can and other major cities can be flattened, but nothing is going to change as for conquering Iran...imagine the USA soldiers 20 years in Iraq...Iran is 3 times the size with a more rough terrain. And factor that isn't spoken about....the economic factor. Iran also have control of the Strait of Hormuz. Shutting this down would cripple the worlds energy. And another factor is, Iran's allies. Russia being the biggest. You know if the USA/UK draw into a full fledge war with Iran, Ukraine is done, and Russian Missiles will be sent to Iran as it's proxy to weaken the USA. And the biggest winner would be China. So, all of this fighting, who wins? NOBODY, China...but the USA economy would be hit, Israel would be flattened, Iran would be flattened, and ideologies would remain the same. ALL FOR WHAT???? Israel refuses to let the Palestinians live FREE.

Why israel is in that place. British and French empires divided former Ottoman Empire territory in the middle east after WW1 (Sykes-Picot agreement in 1916), which led to the creation of modern national boundaries by the League of Nations through a long process known as the Mandate for Palestine. The Balfour Declaration by Great Brittan (1917) stipulated that the territory then known as Palestine would be the national home of Jewish peoples, and was approved without the consent of anybody who actually lived in the region. Between 1920 and 1948, the territory (encompassing present-day Israel as well as parts of Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria) was administered by Great Brittan, when the Mandate for Palestine ended. Jewish leadership declared the area their own, and within several days, the newly-created Israel was invaded by neighboring Arab states, thus starting the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
You forgot to mention _why_ *all* neighbors invaded. They got overrun by millions of refugees due to the nakba right after WW2 with their own economies not being able to sustain such numbers of refugees. They essentially did what NATO did in jugoslavia, intervening in ethnic cleansing without UN mandate.
@@UnfollowYourDreams Not really, the primary reason for the Arab states' invasion was political and ideological opposition to the establishment of the State of Israel. They saw the creation of Israel as a loss of Arab land/sovereignty, and they were motivated by pan-Arab nationalism, solidarity with the Palestinian Arabs, and a desire to prevent the establishment of a Jewish state in what they considered Arab territory.

By then, Israel already had 23 kings and Judah 22(including the 3 Kings of the United Monarchy) and a giant Temple and a sophisticated religion. Iran prioritized missile production at the time of the second Iraqi war, with US officials at the time saying things such as "first Iraq, then Iran". The Iraqi disaster didn't allow the US to attack Iran directly, but the threat of US and Israel is always there. US hostility is not because the Iranian regime is despicable--indeed it is, but it is not worse than Saudi Arabia or many other regimes having full Western support. Simply, the US will never forgive the Iranian revolution for taking down the CIA-backed Shah, and especially for the 1979 hostage crisis.
He explains the Iranians building a fleet of drones and missiles with no externally sourced parts and then doubts if they could keep some 60's tech airplanes maintained.
Unlike the United States and United Kingdom, Israel has been fighting the military and other armed groups since Israel was formed and I doubt they will underestimate their enemies, whether that be on the ground, in the air or sea, just because other nations underestimate their enemies Israel is not amongst those who do in my opinion. As it has just been announced on the news I won’t be surprising other viewers by saying that Israel has just announced to the world that they intend to invade Lebanon, why they would want to advertise it I don’t know, but any element of surprise (not that they would have had much) is gone and that could potentially be a huge mistake in terms of who or what could be waiting for the Israeli military, the prospect of a much wider regional and possibly global conflict just got closer than anyone should want, if Iran decides to back the Lebanese forces and their affiliated groups then the USA and other nations will probably have to support Israel, and that is not a prospect I can see leading to anything other than misery. The Iranian military etc have been preparing for this potential war for years (since 1979) and will have stockpiled many many times a normal amount of weapons and ammunition, whether they can employ all their plethora of weapons systems effectively is another matter, and whether the Israeli military can counter them is also an important issue, the cost of Israeli air defence systems is not cheap and could potentially be a weakness if the whole region turns to war, whichever side they might choose to support the cost in lives is going to be even more terrible than it already is, and one final word of caution, we must not forget that Israel is a nuclear armed country and I don’t think that they would shy away from using the weapons IF ISRAEL WAS UNDER THREAT OF BEING OVERUN, and that is something that is frightening. Just because Iran has not publicised the aircraft that they could potentially have doesn’t mean that they don’t have any advanced aircraft hidden away somewhere, and as Iran is not exactly an open society even the lorded Mossad might not have any intelligence that gives them an inkling of what could be lurking in or under the earth, even satellites etc could not be able to show anything, and yes I do realise that it is a long shot at best and complete nonsense at worst but “never say never”, however, if Iran is reliant upon the F4,F5,F14 etc then air superiority for Israel is a huge benefit to them, it could depend on what other countries that could be dragged into the war have in their arsenal. With respect to the rest of the video it strikes me that Iran might appear to be underdog if they do face off against Israel, but just because a piece of equipment is outdated it is how that equipment is deployed and the competence/experience of the users, the AK series of weapons are definitely something that is outdated by modern standards but they are still a formidable weapon in the right hands, the stopping power of them is incredible and really does make a mess of the human body, they are simple to operate, reliable under most circumstances and they are easy to maintain, I know nothing about any crew served weapons they have so I won’t speculate about them, all in all I would say that if Iran threw its full weight behind Lebanon etc it will be a disaster for everyone in the region.
You seriously believe Iran has some secret wünderwaffe that nobody has ever seen or heard about, including US and Israeli intelligence and that they are ready to deploy it and penetrate the Isreali defence?
What a crazy timing! Iran just responded to Israel's attack with some ballistic missiles. Targeted Israel's air base and their f35s and successfully hit their targets. Looks like the response in April was just a test of Israel's iron dome and see how capable it is against these hypersonic and ballistic missiles.
@@phamlam3720 US was informed by Iran a couple of hours before the attack, so the airplanes left their basis or went into secure bunkers. Great timing of the vid !
You are delusional

Since 1948 the Arabs have pursued a strategy of overwhelming numerical strength in manpower and equipment in the military. It hasn't worked as often as they would like and they have faced humiliation after humiliation. With regards to Israel, the nation is tiny, so the strategy need only work once....
It has worked for Iran, so have their tactic.
Would Iran attacking Israël mean it will have less Shaheds spare to give to Russia? If so this has a silver lining.
I would say that Iran directly attacking Israel will see their military production halted and their stocks destroyed, it would help Ukraine if there is less to give to Russia but I doubt that Iran will want to directly involve themselves in a war when they can just supply weapons to the like of Hezbollah and conduct war through their proxies. It would make very little sense for Iran to do otherwise given how far away the countries are from each other.
gess what they can make more , they got one of those things called a factory and im sure it will be under ground,, sorry to burst you bubble .. lol
Iranian missile production is handled by the government. they're not beholden to the private sector. Basically it's a constant production of missiles of various capabilities. Because they are not being charged an arm and a leg by some specific manufacturer! They own it all. They shoot 200 missiles and at the same time they keep producing them.

I would be careful about Merkava's performance in tank on tank engagements. It seems that the level of protection in merkava tanks is massively overrated. Case in point they like to mention how the engine mounted in front is a genious idea as it adds to frontal protection. However there is no composite armour there and any half decend APFS-DS or ATGM munition will shred right trough it. The engine in front will also make mobility kills more frequent amd the exhaust interferes with the thermal optics.
Usually we only see the merkava fight underequipped militias, not proper militaries.
Like it or not Israel is a first world military with the best weapons and equipment while Iran is a third world military with old outdated technology and rotten infrastructure. Iran may not be successfully invaded but Israel will fulfil all its military objectives.
90million citizens to 9 million. Tech and training are good. But as Stalin said, quantity has a quality all its own. If it’s just exchange bombs and rockets, sure you’re right. I got news for you. NOBODY has underestimated the Iranian military. We watched for nearly a decade as it stood toe to toe with Iraq and finally beat Iraq into a stalemate. The problem is EVERYBODY has underestimated Israel's Army! Time and again, since it's first day of existence, Israel has had to fight multi front wars. They defeated, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Since then, Israel has become a nuclear power and....shares a technological partnership with the United States and its allies. It would be a bloody and costly war for all. But more than that...If it really kicks off, it will start a global conflict with Russia and America getting involved and no much will be left standing. Iran has already gone way too far for Israel not to retaliate. So...good luck world.
Fair and mostly correct I served in Iran Air defense force back in 2008-10 in mandatory, problem is when Iran gov does not have support from people because of how they treated US they will lose no matter what, and back in 1980-88 when Iran have full support of it's people we stand against Iraq with much better equipment, soldiers win war not equipment I believe. The United States destroyed half of Iran's Navy in 8 hours in the 1980s

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the crux of this video. They're talking about a war between Israel and Iran. Not a war between the US and Iran.
Those are very different numbers to calculate. Unless you're implying that Israel has a naval force and 5th gen fighters that matches the US? Or further implying that Israel is counting on US 5th gen fighters and it's navel force to prosecute this war of on Israel's behalf?
You forgot to mention Iran was in a very bloody and destructive war with Iraq for almost the entirety of the 80s losing a million people in the fight. USA did this to help Iraq not lose to Iran.

Why on EARTH do you need an air force when you have a massive drone and missile sector in your army that literally replicates the impact of an Air Force in far deadlier fashion and a fraction of the cost.
Name ONE thing a modern Air Force could do that their missile or drone team could not?
In fact, The exact same targets are accessible in far larger numbers with far less risk.
And tanks? Please. This is 2024. Wars between two modern nations will NEVER be fought on tanks 😂.
Iran just outsmarted the west who’s stuck in world war 2 thinking styles of war with air craft carriers that are literal sitting ducks today. 😂
@@Blackpilld See this theory has been put to the test by the Iranians and it just doesn't work. Drones work when the Americans do it because they have air superiority, so it's cheaper for them to use drones. Drones are not (yet) capable of advanced air to air combat. They also don't replace heavy bombers (yet).
Irans strategy has failed to substitute quality with quantity. The Israelis managed to kill two Iranian generals with six missiles, and the Iranians managed to damage the runway of an Israeli air base with 300.
@@XandateOfHeaven US sent Ukraine a drone with machine gun installed. Not sure how it is working. But there was already a dog fight between unarmed russian and Ukrainian drones. The russian one broke and fell down. Another after that did destroy Ukraine’s Mig29 from above in the air. The pilot was injured but was able to eject.
It is more important to note that israel cannot invade Iran on ground but Iran can through Iraq and Syria.
