When Airlines Sell Your Name and Address

  • I've only been to Aruba once (way back in 2003). However airlines still tend to sell your name and address, causing you to receive all sorts of silly, random letters in the mail.

    @pcwalker The music you hear in the background is actually from my T.V.'s cable box. My cable company has actual music channels called "Music Choice" that have 70s, 80s, 90s, pop hits, etc. music almost like different radio stations. I like listening to them because there are no commercials and I don't have to fiddle with an antenna to get good reception like a radio.

    @Dell0304 Unfortunately it's not. I flew AirTran Airways to California two years ago and i think that is what caused this. Probably because they are one of the cheapest airlines out there. All they serve you in economy class is a tiny bag of pretzels and a small beverage! Even when you're on a plane for five hours!

    That should be illegal.
