I picked a Gateway PIII tower like that off the curb once, but it had a dead power supply. But I did get a working Matrox video capture card out of it, which I used to make many of my early UA-cam videos. The 1.1 GHz PIII is actually faster than those 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 netbooks sold today, so it is still a very capable processor.

I would prefer a pentium three over a pentium four anyway. They seem to run much faster.

Had that same computer used it to watch the bp oil spill worked great till I shorted the motherboard
