I'm not biased I own a newer coyote 5.0 but at 0:15 the impala driver misses 3rd gear like twice or else I think he would have caught and passed the mighty fox 5.0🦊
This particular GT hatchback model probably weighs around between 3,200lbs to 3,300lbs. The lighter LX notchback models weigh a few hundred lbs lighter and actually record very low 14 second times unlike this fat heavy GT model lol. Idk how much the Impala weighs.
I had two 88 GT’s & one 1990 GT Mustang. My first was a two tone grey with red interior. I loved that car!
Those damn 5.0’s putting those chevy big blocks away! Saw that alot too in the late 80’s!
That's amazing!!! Never thought my 5.0 would beat a 409.
Outstanding
I like that Gt color combo of blue and gray with the red stripe....pretty rare now a days.
Any colors rare nowadays! LOL

Little 5.0 Fox beats the legendary 409...Ha!
Well the Fox almost lost to a steel yatch....
Ford always on top
SHE'S REAL FINE
409 needs a driver
They both do lol. Should at least be in the 14s. Probably bad track conditions.
Still would lose to a stock 5.0 5 speed
how much lighter is the stang

@@nedaCFilms seen gts run 13.5s. Notches run 13.2s pretty consistently now all stock.
@@DominatorGarage no.
@@nicholasrice6933 yes. Pretty sure the 20 years of People running that and also the first stock motor car into the 11s also says that
Seen many GT’s run low 15’s and high 14’s, stock....down at sea level in Houston maybe 14.50’s.....
