Seems as though Kate was an amazing addition to the crew. Everyone seemed as though you were on the same wavelength the entire time. Only two more years of catching up to do and then ill be up to date with the Wynns. :) One of the best episodes so far. Smiled the entire time.

I'm so happy that you've considered to not take the invitation of unbelievable Tucan cemetery. Carnivals - even if they're wet - are much more inspiring. Besides, the charms of magnetic Polynesia is still ahead :) Thanks for the wonderful trip around Ecuador and for the cheerful and optimistic atmosphere you guys create in your vids!
My favorite video. I loved when Jason thrusts his head into the bush on impulse. Also, it was awesome to see them come alive by jiggling. Ecuador is definitely on my must visit list, if it wasn't before. ;-)
I can’t get over how many beautiful things are in this videopier! In the beginning the architecture in Quito is so gorgeous - really special. Something you don’t see here in the US for sure!
I loved the statue of the nursing mother with her daughter. It’s just awesome that a country can put such a beautiful statue out in public. I can only imagine the repercussions here in the US the way some individuals take offense to ANYTHING!
The topiary garden… OMG, that is unbelievably impressive.... particularly the moving one!!!! I wish somebody here in the US would do something like that! That is really gorgeous! It looks like so much work. Imagining that one man did that...the work of five of his sons!
The drone shots of the city are breathtaking. Coming from Los Angeles, i can appreciate the clear skies.

Want to talk about 'opening your eyes! Not ever having been out of the U.S., except a day trip to Canada when I was young, I have the American bias that the U.S. is the best place in the world to be and live. Oh, there are other 'civilized' places, mainly in Europe, and parts of the Bahamas, and the Far East.
Then, you guys go and show us Ecuador, and it's like 'Holy Stuff!' That's gorgeous and I sure wouldn't mind visiting there.
I can't begin to tell you what a service you two are doing to bring new light, new knowledge to people like me who are stuck in a certain mind set, not to mention what you are doing for these countries as well, in terms of bringing tourism and visitors.
Of course, on top of all that, it's just amazing to watch you all having as much fun as you do!
Making the best of everywhere you go. You have to do these things as you may never return. Life’s too short to not try and see and experience as much as you can and you guys are the epitome of this philosophy! Love the video. Loved the shrub sniff. The sculptured plants were amazing. The whole area was just beautiful. It takes lots of hours every day to keep this place looking that wonderful. So how are the cats doing since they have not been off the boat in a long time? The whole area in the country looks pretty. The party looks like it got out of to control. Ecuador was the coolest place! A country the size of colorado, with everything from: mountains, countryside, rainforest, and beaches. I cant wait to go back!

That church in old town Quito is fantastic. I hope you took the climb to the top and around the catwalks outside the top of it. It was one of the highlights of my visit there. A visit to South American Explorers Club is another great stop.

Lovely scenery. So that probably is the highest in altitude that you will get on your journey (Quito is over 9000 feet). I found this video particularly interesting because you don't hear a lot about Quito even though it's one of the more unique capitals (closest to the Equator, no river or seaport at all). Anyway, nice little travelogue off the beaten path.

Yeah, I was thinking of that too: the marches, the outrage, the defamation, lawsuits, arrests, the important people speaking in grave tones. And for what? For the right to say that some poor baby has to be fed with a blanket over his head because women's breasts (yes, I did say breasts) are obscene. It's all a part of the "away from nature" movement in America, and it makes me sad.

Next time you go to quito or anywhere else in ecuador, stay at a hostel. You can get really nice private ones for only $10-$20 per person. When we stayed in banjo ecuador, we had a private room with a loft, picking grapefruits and lemons off of the porch, 10 mim walk to the hot springs, and a view of a waterfall.... for $12.
