I think you are wrong about Thunderbolt. The website also does not mention anything about Thunderbolt on this model. The N5095 does not has an integrated Thunderbolt controller, and I doubt if they added a dedicated Thunderbolt controller for the laptop. Likely that port is only a Type C port that support USB PD charging and Display Port Alt mode for video output. Best is to check with Hwinfo or Device manager to see if you have any Thunderbolt controller present in the system. if it's not, it's likely the situation above.
Good review. I wouldn't consider using iPad PC and Android PCs since their mainly more tablet PCs, the T30 is just an entry level Windows tablet. The port selection is nice, tho that high mounted power jack should've been at the bottom. I wonder if the keyboard dock is stiff enough to mount folding feet or at best use a tilting stand? But then again the limited hinges might limit the viewing angle. I would do a teardown if they don't want it back. :) I might still might get a OneNetbook T1.
The Celeron N5095A should be fine but only if you had windows 10 installed on that tablet. Windows 11 is actualy to much to handle for that little thing. If the price were to be a bit lower 260-300 euros, maybe it would have been a good product to have despite the flaws.
It would be much better if they would use a simple 1080p screen, single camera, 512 GB SSD, no crappy stand and stylus, then put all the saved costs into a better CPU and bigger battery.
I wouldn't compare a cheap Chinese windows tablet PC to an Apple. A monstrous price difference, like night and day. But the rest is an honest review...of a cheap Chinese tablet PC. It tries to overwhelme the buyer with big numbers of the SSD and RAM, but dies on CPU performance and ergonomics. If they used a CPU like i5-10210Y, which is older but has 2x the performance and half the TDP (Chuwi uses this CPU in the new Ubook X 2023), it would probably get useable performance for multimedia tasks and some light office work. I don't think that windows has a problem with touch screens. I have an Intel Celeron N4120 in a convertible laptop and it works flawlessly and with 4GB of RAM (Just had to adjust the virtual memory manually because Windows is doing this dynamically and that makes the system stutter), so the problem is the tablet PC hardware or drivers used by Dere...and I doubt they will deal with this problem. Probably close the shop before someone asks for a refund 😂 Nice review, but you should do a more apples to apples comparison. Not with an Apple 😀
I don't have any other tablets to compare with and I warned them before they sent me the device, furthermore I compared it with an old gen ipad that I personally bought new from a store for just a bit more than the price of this DERE tablet. Even though I do agree that it's not apple to apple comparison, it's still fair and at least somehow reasonable.
Any reviews from you are much appreciated.
Thanks a lot. It helped me decide 😊
You know the video is serious when the title has "detailed roasting"🤣🤣🤣

Yes, you are right, it's only USB-C, charging, and Display Port, no Thunderbolt.

Very helpful review. I think it’s a bit harsh though considering the price of this thing
To accept those fundamental flaws of the quality and design, it should cost not more than €250 in my opinion.
