Very detailed as usual. Great technical video.
Nice review. This looks like a decent product that is suitable for a variety of uses.
Finally a decent review for Odroid H4+. Thanks! Keep it up!
Thanks for the support, but does your comment imply that there are undecent reviews of Odroid H4 Plus?
I saw some not quite good. Why do you think that 15v psu will be not suffficient for sata Power? Did you test with 2.5 sata drives?
It's not me thinking so, it's the official specification, with the 15V input the onboard SATA power is not enabled. I didn't test it myself as I don't have any 15V bricks.
@@Miyconst good to know as i would use my sata drives if I buy this board. Means i need the power supply with 19 V. I hope KKSB will bring a nice case for this board.
@@watchfreaxx It's working fine for me I have one SATA SSD with 12V PSU, didn't try more drives though
amazing value !!!. using a standard ATX power supply is best you can have more power than you need for drives
no need to use the onboard sata power
Yes, ATX PSU is a good option if you don't bother with an extra power button and don't care about those extra watts consumed.
Excellent video that should help begin to explain how to customize tiny PC cases using 3D printing. Hopefully to see a new videos in your channel accordingly
This case is MODCASE MASS, available in a free and a premium version.
@@Miyconst What 3D printer did you use to print it.? Was the main body printed in one.? I assume it was as I do not see any seams, I want to get into 3D printing for printing large custom internal parts (when I find the time, and right 3D printer) am am specifically interested in large single pieces. Thank you for your review of this interesting product (the Odroid P4+ and everything else that you added to it and bought and then tested and built and turned into a whole and usable product, and adding the Windows driver information was also very useful. Thanks to UA-cam for suggesting this video to me, I have now subscribed to your channel. Many thanks, and keep up the good work.
@@ADB-zf5zr I used a Prusa MK4 to print, the MASS case is printed in several modules/levels, you can inspect the print files from the MODCASE MASS Free Edition to see what it consists of.
@@Miyconst Thanks.
Nice one! You going to run truenas or proxmox? Or both? Would love an update video. Cool project for sure 👌
I plan to use TrueNAS, no need for Proxmox in my case.
Thank you for this interesting video ! 👍
I have a similar board from Asus with a N100 instead (PRIME N100I-D D4-CSM) and I'm jealous that you can adjust Power Limit into the bios.
Asus board doesn't offer this setting even with the latest bios...
Hey Miyconst! This is unrelated to the topic of the video, but I have a question.
I saw a video on X99 from iceberg tech, and my interest was peaked when I saw the Xeon E5 1681/86/91 v3 on his video. I was wondering if you've ever seen/heard of these chips before, and are they overclockable?
P. S. I saw one of those on sale on some obscure website for around $400-700 USD but it could be a sham
I am aware of these unique Xeons, seen them on eBay for astronomical price, so far there is no clear info about overclocking. Could be locked, could be unlocked.
Boa noite, gostei muito.Um abraço
Great video, this board can be a interesting alternative for my second NAS - backup server on i7- 7700. Big thanks for detailed tech test.
Also I have a question, is there any opportunity for share public this brilliant NAS case model? I was looking for something like this for years! (I can even pay for model to print :D )
The case is called MODCASE MASS, the guy offers free and premium version, just Google it and I will add links in the description, tomorrow.
OK, nvm, I'm stupid, I should look moar :D MASS case :D
If you need printing services - I am more than happy to offer it.
@@MiyconstI'm afraid that shipping fee to Poland will be far more expensive than a print service alone :D
Also it's great opportunity to finally buy a 3D printer ]:->
@@moto_random_stuff shipping from Sweden to Poland is not that expensive but it's always good to buy a printer! I can certainly recommend my Prusa MK4. Also check InfiMech TX, maybe that's something for you.
Super nice in this sexy case
Hello! Do you think if I were to add heatsinks to the vrm of x99 rs9 plus a small fan directly pointed at it. it will make the vrm better?
Yes, it will, but only if you also have good airflow inside the chassis.
@@Miyconst Thank you! Yes sir!
Thanks for the Windows 11 drivers. Which driver clears the "Base System Device" error in Device Manager?
What do you mean with "error"? Is it just an unrecognized device or an error?
@@Miyconst Thanks for checking my message. I mean unrecognized device
@@RaymondKIMATHI and you have installed all the NUC drivers, Windows updates, and Intel Network drivers? You can open the properties of the unrecognized device, then go to Hardware IDs, copy that value and search in Google, it will hint to what driver is missing.
@@Miyconst I used all your resources including (Snappy Driver Installer) and found out it's "Intel GNA Scoring Accelerator module". Now my OCD is cured. Thanks 👍🏿

Have you tried cwwk m.2 expansion board? Those can extend m.2 to 4 slots.
That adapter requires PCI-E x4 to 4 * x1 bifurcation. Intel N100 does not support that without additional switches as far as I know.
@@Miyconst
But that adapter is being used for their n100 boards.
@@jackipiegg I need to investigate how it works, maybe the adapter has a split switch itself, maybe they have it on the board.
I'd like to order an Odroid SBC but I can't see how to set up a bank transfer. They don't let us use credit cards.
What country are you ordering from? I used a Master Card for payment.
@@Miyconst USA.
@@tolpacourt that's very strange.. I ordered with delivery to Sweden, paid with a Master Card, and it took less than a week to arrive.
1ST thought: wow that's thick. No way I'm fitting that under a keyboard. Just how thick is it?
2ND thought: 120x120mm? Why does the spec sheet not mention the height?
The height is 36mm to the top of the heatsink and 42mm to the top spot of the audio connectors at the rear I/O. I have no clue why you would want a PC behind your keyboard, but maybe you meant behind the a monitor?
@@Miyconst Thank you, and nope - under a keyboard. Wireless low profile keyboards have a slim battery, replacing that means all your connectors are around the sides. Like a laptop.
The CHUWI Minibook X N100, for example.
@@Soupie62 okay.. I am really unsure why and where this solution would be welcomed, but at least now you have the measures.
*UPDATE* gpu-z for christ!!
