FIRST PULL ATTEMPTS in my 800+WHP Procharged Camaro

- This video was meant to be a POV drive as well as sound of a Procharged Camaro but ended up cutting all of that down to 2 min of that. Pulls are towards the end of the video, I have yet made a pull in my car in over a year since I started this build. I wanted to see how it would act with the stock street tires, nonetheless will be making another video showing the difference of my drag setup (ET Street R).

Yeah the car sounds 10x better, added some tables from the 19 camaros so it burbles a lot more, but yeah spinning at 100mph is crazy scary

Ahh gotta love pro chargers shit is almost impossible to get traction with them I remember I had one on my mustang and due to the boost kicking in at high rpms shit was a spinfest!!!!! Love the car just ordered a 2022 wild cherry tint coat zl1 1le 6 speed!

My 2018 SS with Novi 1500 centri supercharger does the same, although it’s impossible at any speed when the methanol comes in

You can program your v-1 to only see certain bands. I have mine set to only see laser and ka. So when it does go off it’s almost always a cop. K band is just annoying stores and what not giving a false. Anyways I think you would enjoy it a lot more that constantly going off for nothing
Yeah I’ve looked into that, I’m just paranoid with it so say screw it and leave it be. Supposedly the new one cancels out a lot of false reads so I might go that way but your right for now I’ll tune it out. Just have to select a certain read rather then “a” for all correct?

One advantage of the Procharger is it builds boost when the rpm starts to climb up. So you get better traction. I tried whipple and magnusion 2650r and the low mid range torque was uncontrollable, the car needed 335s in the back and stock 305s on the 1le was not enough

@@MP3BOOSTEDdamn!!!! That's a monster. I started with the P1SC-1 and have been considering upgrading it to the D1-X. That F1 is the big boy. You can run up your HP probably another 300-400 easily with that same setup

Yeah thats crazy, you need to work on getting that thing to hook before you hurt yourself or the car. Mine is NA and I got traction issues with bolt-ons. Can't imagine trying to handle 800whp.

Horrible. Sounds like when the diff or the shaft hits or loose at low RPM. Then the load comes so immedately around 3000-4000 that it just bangs and spins very quickly antil the bov let’s the boost away…. Strange, I would never want a car like that. A thick and long lower torque until the limiter cuts off suits this car better -imho- would be easier to control and drive too….(?)

800 whp!!!? That’s over 940 crank. Stock was 445-455 crank. And the LS/LT motors in regular Bette’s and Camaros need to be fully built if going over 630 whp. How much was the built motor$
I built the motor, forged internals were around 3k+ from what I remember.

Once the market gets back to normal I'm gonna get a New ZL1 IDK if i'm gonna get an M6 again, I kinda want to try out a 10 speed automatic but idk yet, i've never owned a car that wasn't a manual transmission lol.
I love a manual car for street racing or pulls out there. Just feels good. I’d get an auto for a dedicated race car if I was trying to be face or have quick times. The tires are the stock ones. I have 10k miles on them so they are about done but yeah on my radials it’s a totally different car. I’ve also been seeing where now used cars are selling for a crazy good amount

Hey man, sorry if you've answered this in another video, but did you build up the bottom end to handle all of that power? From what I read, going over 600 RWHP in the 6th gen is asking for potential problems. I'm currently stock (SS A8 with 1LE suspension and lowering spring kit from GM) looking to build a track beast while keeping my A8. I'm thinking of going with a procharger since I don't need the out of the hole torque on the track, but I'm worried about the integrity of the bottom end and cooling issues as well. Any advice??
No worries, so I did do drop in pistons and rods on the car, I have a few videos of the entire build / install of all of the parts I put in. I went with a setup that could hold up to 1500hp, only thing I didn’t change is the crank because it can hold 1100ish safely and to be honest if I changed the crank I would of just done a 416 stroker but I just wanted to max out this engine and then build a whole different one for insane power down the road. Power wise you can easily just procharge your car as is and it will hold up fine it’s when you do what I have done is when you’ll need forged internals. although my experience sucked with RPMs meth kit I got I still love the work they do, they built a cammed Camaro that makes 600whp and 520 torque, I’d go that route if your wanting a badass cam setup. You would get more for your money though just simply bolting on a procharger with no other bolt ons and make around the same power, cost me around 10k for the full bolt ons with heads and cam and I was around 550ish where a procharger will give you more for like 5-6k

don't be silly, put some michelin sport cup2 tires on your zl1 because it's a street car. if the lambo, porche, bugatti and ferrari use them with success you can too. no reason to total your car when it rains using race/street tires not designed for wet weather. also remember tires work best when they have some heat in them and not cold.
