They each have their merits. The 1st one is well appointed and I like how you can fold away the bed. The 2nd one has great space and an excellent sofa, very important! The 3rd one is plain, but in a quiet area with a nice view of greenery from the balcony. Keep 'em coming :)
Hello Daz, Great video, I met both pf these ladies at Alan Bolton office, I told them I had seen them in your videos. They were very helpful, I can't wait till I retire in December 2025.
My wife and I stayed in CCR (the third studio block) last winter for five months. Excellent room on 8th floor, not as poor as the one you showed on the ground floor. Mind you, the corridor outside the room you showed is used by everybody in the building, as it is a shortway to get out directly if you are walking up to the Buakhao area. So it could be annoying to hear footsteps all day and night. Our room on the top floor was the same size but another layout. Everything was so perfect that we booked next winter for six months. But it is like the girls said, this place is very sought after, and it can be difficult to find a room available when you want it.
I love Murphy beds! Great for giving you more space!! It would be great if they could show the room with the Murphy bed down and up, to show how much room there is.
One can watch condo reviews from other youtubers and almost every condo they showcase can easily be found for a cheaper price online. That is (almost) never the case with the condos presented here on this channel. You are the man.👍🏻
Lived in Malta as a child and one of the things I remember clearly even though it was 50 years ago and before AC was having to peel yourself off the leather sofa when you wanted to leave it, as the back of your legs would stick to it! Really enjoy these condo reviews, especially as Vee and Fern seem WAY less annoying than the estate agents...realtors.... not sure which is appropriate to use in Thailand.. Than I use when I'm moving!
I stay in the city garden condo in building E it's a fantastic place great location and all the staff are very friendly from the cleaners to the security 👍
Hey brotha, you show the vast majority of condos at $400 and under and $1,000 and up, but I don't see you showing ANY condos between $600 to $800 or 50 to 70 sqm for retirees like myself. Love your channel sir.
yes it is amazing how nice these condo's are for such a very reasonable price if you compare this to the phillipines it is day and night.. that is why i miss pattaya .. classy lovely lady in the red pants by the way!
I agree with others. First condo is small and the same price as my place in Chiang Mai @ 50 sm, but I liked it a lot. Steam room and sauna seem redundant in Thailand. :)
Very nice place city centre residence stayed there 4 or 5 years ago pool is very good and gym too only thing wrong was the distance from soi baukhua especially in rainy season because the roads around there were flood and had to get taxis
I liked the first condo too Daz over the other two. The layout was efficient without seeming claustrophobic and had everything I would need. The fold-up bed brought back memories from my childhood as I slept in one in an older cottage in California. Called a "Murphy's" bed they were very popular at one time in the USA. I seem to remember James Bond(Sean Connery) getting trapped in a "Murphy's" bed in Hong Kong in the movie "You Only Live Twice". Hopefully none of the ladies in Thailand would try and trap me in one😂
So how is weather over in Pattaya beach in month of November I read it's very very cool off season too is that true? I hope to fly to Thailand from Miami or lax on Halloween. To Taiwan then from Taiwan to Thailand. I plan on taking long distance bus from Bangkok airport to Pattaya beach like Peter from Thailand bound does
I love the work that you do, it is very informative. I was just wondering, do any condos allow cigarettes on the balcony? I’m sure most of them don’t, but was curiosity if there were any that do. Thanks, Doug
First and second one look good. I do not like 2 months deposit. Real Estate companies come on. It means you need to come up with 3 months including your 1st month payment up front? Ridiculous.
Amazing weather on this day! How has the rainy season been so far? Last few videos noticed very clear skies as well/ under the impression Pattaya is quite nice in June?? Thinking of a late July visit next year, good idea?
Good video, loved the 1st apt with the Murphy Bed, great space, I'd replace the existing mattress with a new pocket springs Matt and get rid of the couch. Now you have good open space for 6monthz to a year. What do Thai's have against bathtubs ? I dislike showers , no way to relax.
I would prefer a midsize 1 br condo , but I liked the first studio that you showed compared to the 2nd studio , it had a more spacious layout. although I like the pool layout better in the 2nd
Hi Daz thanks for the great videos mate, just started watching them. Me and my Thai wife are looking for a condo in the Jomtien area for a month from around October 13th for 12000 to 13000 TB. Just wondered if you could recommend anywhere and got any tips as we've never rented one before. I've watched a few videos and messaged a few people but nobodys got back to us yet. Want to get it sorted before we leave the UK, thanks Craig
Very good daz preferred the city, garden studio to the city center studio, can you get a 1, bedroom apartment in both condos, thanks I am looking for a 1, bedroom condo coming to, Pattaya in Augest, till end of November. Any deals thank you great video the ladies are beautiful very nice,
First one tiny but practical and cheap for that location. Ideal for a single guy, it’s all you need. Looks a nice Condo, be even better when they sort out road on Soi 15 That’s a great looking gym but like a hot workout, and pool in the second looked great. Location wise not far from the action. First studio wins hands down for me for same money. Hard to believe they are busy unless it’s Chinese or Indian visitors as the place is dead apart from those.
some of the units at city garden are top notch. lovely redwood looking doors and cabinets very nicely done. Some people are more photogenic than others thats a fact when ur sitting at alan bolton at ferns desk looking at her shes really fantastic looking also just like the other girls weve had from alan bolton. That guy at 17:58 probably had some dynamite VODKA u shoulda stopped and had a nip with him 🥴
Hiya Daz , i will be coming to thailand in about 10 to 12 weeks , and i was wondering in your experience what type of accommodation should i go for ,i will be there for about 3-4 weeks , you have whoen us sime really nice condos , hotels andnso on , the condos look amazing for the price especially with a pool and a gym , any advice you give would be greatly appreciated mate , also when i come over I'd like to meet up with you and have a drink if thats ok because you'll know about placesbi can go if a day on days out, thwnks for all your hard work
Do any of the condos you are reviewing allow for a one-month short time tenancy for a holidaymaker or do you need to stay 1 year? I am asking as I have found accommodation but it is more expensive this might be because it is a short-term contract. If there are ones at these prices for the month can you leave the contact info of the agent or owner? Thanks in advance
@@everythingPattaya Thanks for getting back to me. I stay in Talay 2 Jomtien and Just wanted to save a few pennies but it's a holiday so no probs. Thanks
Would like to see what you can get for arounf $500. The first studio was nice but a little small. The 2 br was very nice but a bit more than I would like to spend for rent.
Hey Daz, Thanks for your great videos. Can you give us an idea or do a video, on whether you can get a better deal and by how much by securing in off season, paying a year upfront etc. in addition, for me personally, are the rates higher for pool access? Also can you do a video on dos and don’ts when using rental agents, or is it best to get that information on a chat group? Cheers!
You get the best deal by signing in Low Season for a year. Never pay up front for a year, I know someone who had the condo sold from under him after 3 months and the new owner cut off the water to get him out.
It looks like you get more for the money in the first building. In the first you get a refrigerator and a washer I didn’t see a refrigerator in the second building.
Interesting words Murphy Bed: a bed that is hinged at one end to store vertically against the wall, or inside a closet or cabinet. Sectional Sofa: is a sofa formed from multiple sections (typically two, three, and four) and usually includes at least two pieces which join at an angle of 90 degrees or slightly greater. The video was great. The first condo was nicer, I think. On the 2 bedroom condo, you didn’t show us the view from the balcony. In the first condo building, did they have any one bedroom condos? if so, what would be the price?

Hi Daz. I came across a few condos I liked in Pattaya from websites. I noticed on some listings they were stating whether previous owners were either foreigner or thai owner. What's the big deal, and who cares? I guess my ultimate question is, can a foreigner buy a condo unit from a previous thai owner?
No, because the condo is listed for Thai ownership only. A foreigner can only buy a condo listed for foreign ownership. I was there in May, longer stay places like condos are busy as there are loads of Russian currently. Hotels and short stay is dead, the lowest low season in memory!
I stayed in an Airbnb in CCR in April for 3 weeks, studio room. It's actually a great location, obviously there's the gents clubs right outside basically and it's 5 minutes walk to Buakhao. The wifi where I was was really bad, looks to be a whole of building wifi, as opposed to individual. Very very neat video sir
Girls are cute, the security deposit is a kicker, for the size and what they are asking is high season pricing.
"It's quite well designed"... Agreed, and so is the condo...😊
#1: intriguing design; #2: big and well-equipped; #3: nice setting, good value, no desk to work at.
Appreciate your camera action on the bootay at every opportunity😉

I stayed at this property for 14 days back in late February. It was a cool place, but my particular unit was very crappy, to put it politely.
So much better than all those brand new condos.

A Hotel or Condotel, regular condos don't want less than 6 months. Or Airbnb of course.
Love that gym too
the only plus point on the first one is that the palm gives you shade on the balcony
Very interesting...thanks!
