All of my experiences with polydactyl cats have been way, way positive. They tend to be more friendly than their "normal" bunk mates. They steal your heart. I currently have a long-haired domestic polydactyl. I love her. My "Natasha" is a true gift.

The same people who volunteer at city shelters and are forced to see 1,000s of kittens this size and smaller be put into a gas chamber because no one will come and adopt them. Same breeds of cats sometimes. Just as beautiful. After awhile, you don't like seeing breeders. After all that work, trying to save a life or two, hoping they'll get adopted, trying to make the animals look clean, presentable and socialized only to be gassed.. try doing that for a month. See how much you support breeders online then. Get your pets spayed and neutered.

Critters are amazing... As an older person... Coming from the hospital... Taking my meds... Living alone but the cat in the middle of the night Eastern Standard Time... The cat had his Paul in my mouth. I was not aware just breathing hard and then I finally got up and took my meds... 😘😍😂 Then I went to the doctors the next day and it had my meds adjusted...... The only thing I can say from my experience is that he cared 🤗😘 as I reflect as a human being that cat probably save my life, so he is more than just a cat or an animal but if companion and it has better things of understanding then even I do 🤔😂🤣

And he's well-fed my 17 year old short hair domestic lies on my chest 😘 and when I wake up in the morning at 6 a.m. He just wants his water and to go potty outside... Even though he has a body inside, imagine that? He is a faithful companion and kills anything short of a dog.

Kittens are much easier to find than older males, but some breeders do offer them. On average the price for buying one from a breeder is 700-1000$ but adopting one costs around 100$.

It's a recessive gene that created thumbs or baseball gloves on some cats. I have several with no leg problems. I love those big feet.

Myra Chestnutt get a grip... Any cat short-haired domestic American or european needs to be brushed out like any other critter and they're happy... Some breeds are longer in hair I need more grooming Duh. And they are mostly self-sufficient and less work then dogs
