      How else do you inspect an unloaded weapon? I would be concerned if he didn't hand it to him open and unloaded 😂

    • @jackgilchrist
      @jackgilchrist Рік тому +241

      @@swaggadash9017You don't inspect a firearm by pointing the gun at other people and yourself. You keep it pointed in a safe direction at all times (like the ground or downrange) and check the cylinder (or in the case of an auto, remove the mag and check the chamber).
      Then, when you're absolutely sure the gun is unloaded, you STILL don't point it at anyone. Basic gun safety rules. Always assume a gun is loaded. Never point a gun at anything you're not willing to destroy.
      Of course, they were both standing at the wrong end of every gun on the table. So, not great range discipline from either one. And Scott knows better.

    • @swaggadash9017
      @swaggadash9017 Рік тому +40

      @@jackgilchrist But then how do you check if the weapon has a bullet in the chamber? 😂 I'm joking but if you know 100% the gun is unloaded you can throw it up in the air and stick it up your butt, it's just a chunk of metal at that point. It would be like saying "don't touch the sharp edge of that grinded down sword".

    • @jackgilchrist
      @jackgilchrist Рік тому +99

      @@swaggadash9017 Sure, but a lot of people have killed themselves or others who were positive the weapon was unloaded. That's why the rule exists. With a gun, if you are wrong people can die, so we take the extra precautions. Always treat a gun as if it is loaded, and never point a gun at anything you aren't willing to destroy.
      Don't follow those rules in most gun stores or ranges and you'll be out on your ass real quick.

    Seeing the way the energy from the recoil moves down Eddie's arm is fantastic. In slowmotion you can really see how the energy is dissipating through the arm. How the elbow flex and how the gun flip, if it "bites" the hand or not and so on.
    When he shot the Desert Eagle you could see how much less muzzle flip and recoil it had when compared to the .44 Magnum revolver.

      @blahorgaslisk7763 Рік тому +5

      @@jackhemsworth7515No not really a well designed gun. It's actually way overcomplicated and very unreliable.
      If you want to minimize the recoil something like the Boberg is more efficient. Or why not something like the Tula MC-3 that had the barrel located at about the height of your middle to ring finger. Though it might be hard to make a really powerful gun using that design. For revolvers there's the Mateba designs that shoot from the lowest chamber in the cylinder, thereby producing less muzzle flip and remaining about as reliable as a revolver can be.

    Eddie Hall is a great person, really funny and will always be Truly a legend as a man and as one of the Greatest Strongman in the world!
    I am a way smaller of a man and have shot all these guns and own some and used to own some of these guns and I love the kick (recoil) these pistols put out and I can fairly easily shoot these with one hand all day long.
    Now you got to remember Eddie's hand strength is phenomenal but, his hand size is about twice as big as a regular males hand as show when Eddie put his hand next to Scott's hand! Eddie's hands engulfed the handles so they no way Eddied could hold and grip any of these pistols correctly and you can tell by the every hammer on all the pistols were digging into between his thumb and his index finger badly because they had know where else to go but into the back of the webbing into his hand which hurts like hell!
    But I 100% believe if the handle & grips were made to fit his hand he wouldn't have any problems and probably would look like these would have had hardly any recoil at all! That last pistol you could see how bad the whole back of the pistol ate up into Eddie's hand because of the size of his hand was too big for it.
