I don't remember the year, but Nickelback played in Indiana and Chad stopped the band mid-song to see why a lady near the front was trying to talk on her phone. The lady said she was checking up on her children at home, so Chad encouraged the audience to be as quiet as possible to let the lady check on her kids. When she hung up, he asked if the kids were okay. When she said yes, he yelled out in the microphone "THE KIDS ARE ARIGHT!" and the band immediately picked up the song where they left off. Like Nickelback or not, this was pretty dang classy!
@@justinlast2lastharder749 Overused joke, but okay. This was Ruoff Music Center (formerly Deer Creek) and the place was packed- like every other Nickelback show I've been to while people try to claim that nobody goes to their shows.
@@sarahdraper1705 From the floor, Ermal is an island not an artificial concert hall. And only Nickelback got pelted, and not rest of the bands. Who told Nicklback's agent that they would fit in a heavy metal concert in Portugal? Best thing ever, that my compatriots fixed the lign-up for that day. AND F Nickelback, Portugal loves their festivals ad repecs every band, but Nickelback before slipknot? Are you friggin' serious? Get them outta here! (is what everyone felt that day)
I remember being surprised how people reacted to Phil Anselmo. Pantera always had a big Nazi following amongst their fan base. And it’s not like the band discouraged these types of fans.
I saw Iron Maiden in Adelaide 8-9 years ago where Bruce called out a "fan" for harassing a woman. Called him a c*** and told him to f*** off before the crowd deal with him 🤣
I thought I read once that the Nickelback incident was at a festival for heavy metal. Granted, that's no excuse to throw stuff at them since a large group of people booing would likely get the job done too. But I at least get their frustration since they paid to see heavy metal and not cookie cutter rock.
What I find funny is a lot of people don’t know why they don’t like them. Most people don’t like them just for the simple fact that other people don’t like them. Hating them is cool.
@@SirReginald.They're just the definition of generic radio friendly rock without personality or taste, with 1 or 2 bangers. If you asked ChatGPT to write the most formulaic, predictable 00s rock ever it would give you Nickelback.
I am not a super fan of nickelback, I have bought a cd or 2 of theirs. I like much of their music. I wouldnt go to a show or buy a shirt under most circumstances. But i dont hate them. If they were at Sturgis, and a better band wasnt playing, i would do that show.
Lol, most of rock.star are drunk and hie . We pay for pay to see the concert . One fk up.fan doesn't make u the right to walk away . A call that spoiled brat band .
If you go to a concert to do things that hurt and disrespect the musicians then you deserve to be treated like the idiot you are. If the musicians return the attack or the insults good for them. The people who behave like this at shows are not fans and shouldn't be there in the first place. The musicians owe them no apologies and should show no remorse. You either go and enjoy the show or you deserve the consequences if you get hurt or embarrassed
@@normaryan7717 you make a good point. for those going through the comments, I've got good news. God is good because He gives His blessings to everyone, whether they be good or bad. but everyone has at least, told a lie, or stolen something in their life. and that makes them sinners, and God will not allow sinners in heaven; in His presence, because He is holy. so, God has to punish the sinners in hell, because God is severe and just. but God is also love and He made a way for some to be saved from His wrath. here are the steps: 1. admit that you're a sinner and are lost. 2. realize that the penalty of sin is death (hell). 3. believe that Jesus (who is God) died on the cross, was buried, then rose from the grave, to pay the penalty for man's past, present, and future sins. 4. trust Christ alone as your Savior, and not on your own good deeds to get you to heaven (nor a combination of your faith and self-righteous works). 5. pray to God NOW that you're accepting Christ's free gift of salvation because if you die before making this decision, it's too late, and you'll 🔥🥵😈 6. and to be a disciple, tell people about Jesus, read the bible, go to church regularly to know God's will for your life.
Mustaine handles it really well, humiliation back and entertaining to the fans. Reminds me of Ricky Gervais. And he keeps his cool and finishes the show. Bruce has his moments seen a few live.
Bruce is embarrassing a.f. During the Judas Priest show at the same venue there were also flares and more of them, wafting over the stage. Did Rob freak out over it like a baby? Nah. His phone kick was also quite lame however.
My favorite one was when he cursed out an audience member while he was talking about Chris Cornell during a show he was doing the day Chris took his life. He was talking about how sad it was and how Chris was a friend of his. Some dude in crowd obnoxiously yelled “HOLY WARS!” and Dave said “shut the fuck up asshole”. It’s probably the tamest and least significant on-stage (for lack of a better word) “heckler” moment, but it’s just the sentimental value it has that makes it my favorite. Like Dave is on stage somberly talking about Chris and you’re just gonna yell for what song you want him to play? It’s pretty much telling him to get on with it. The man literally died earlier that day, show some respect. So I liked the way Dave snapped at that rude audience member.
@PotawatomiThunderNew Dave is usually pretty justified, and he's challenged people to come on stage with him. They've declined every time. Which is smart because Dave has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a black belt in taekwondo. Out of every guitarist, he's probably the most prepared for fighting someone, so I get why he talks so much shit to hecklers.
These whiney @ss entitled celebrities forget that the fans paid $$ to see them perform not to have the singers insult them and or walk off stage in the middle of a show . .sure fans should not be allowed to throw things but let security handle it, just do what you were paid for , shut up and sing
I think the fan obviously wasn't expecting that and thought Maynard was coming in for a hug or something which gave him an unfair advantage. Kinda like a sucker punch. Wouldn't be surprised to find out one day that Maynard paid that dude to do that to perpetuate some badass image he's been nursing in his own weird head. Lol
The Hetfield part: people often neglect to mention _why_ people were pelting him with shoes. Metallic had just spent the best part of five minutes childishly mocking the then extremely unwell Lane Staley because his band had made the choice to try and get him into rehab instead of doing gigs with Metallica. Given Hetfield's widely publicized _own_ addiction issues since then, the mockery seems doubly cruel and unnecessary now. Fans of both hands were decidedly unhappy with Hetfield's callousness at the time too, hence the shoe throwing.
Indeed and after, they where self in rehab for alcohol. RIP Lane Staley MTV unplugged "friends don't let friends get friends haircuts" On guitar. Metallica on first row all with short hair.🤣
couldnt imagine james having the balls to go do all the drugs Lane was doing, and to come out as a better vocalist still. James can barely handle beer in his life without being a wreck. Poor lil man
@@Mike_79 that was actually their bassist, Mike Inez, and it was meant in good fun because Metallica and AIC were good friends at the time. Layne was a gentle soul and suffered so much in those last years that it makes me so angry to hear this about Hetfield. Not to mention i also learned that the real reason Dave Mustaine left Metallica was because Hetfield kicked a dog and Mustaine beat him up for it. Good on Mustaine! RIP Layne Staley!
Hey! I was in the band who opened for Puddle Of Mudd that night! It was at the Adlephia Music Hall. Seeing Wes' meltdown live was crazy. Dude was definitely going through a rough patch and on some hard stuff.. sad to see. Hope he is doing better. Talented guy.
Apparently the story goes that after they went to court over the ordeal the guy with the camera went up to axl and asked him to autograph the picture he took of him, and Axl asked him “do you want it signed Axl or Billy?” (Billy being Axl’s real name)
I'm still dying at 8:55 where Chad Smith shouted, "Shut up!" in doppelgänger rage at a fan who yelled, "Will Ferrell" at him, but "regrettably for Smith, his shouting only further accentuated his resemblance to Ferrell."
Billy Corgan went beserk at someone in a studio audience who asked him about his 'chemo' (given his baldness at a young age). He was furious, but dignified and called it out for what it was: a lame, but cruel attempt at attention to those actually undergoing chemo and losing their hair.
Makes you appreciate the Hall of Fame Band, Rush. Parents took their children to concerts and everyone was respectful toward each other. Nothing but respect for Geddy, Neil, and Alex. Legendary musicians with great fans!
If you lived it you'll remember 1998-1999 for being the years laser pointers were the scourge of public performance. Monday Night Raws of the era really captured the essence.

There were girls who I went to school with crowd surfing and instead of pushing them along there were lots of guys just reaching up and groping them. After his outburst it pretty much stopped so good for him. I always thought that was decent of him.
Whitesnake was touring with Motley Crue, on the Wildside tour. They were in Phoenix. David Coverdale had just started a song. He got about two lines into it when he stopped and told the band to stop. Apparently, a fan was having some kind of problem and David stopped the show to get them some help.
Dave is a legend! And surpassed Metallica in terms of integrity and keeping true to themselves as a band and continuously writing new and original material whist still keeping true to the basic style that fans fell in love with... But that's besides the point! I just wanted to stop by and say F@$k Chad Kroeger 😂
Dave's a born-again douche who refuses to play with bands who have anti-christian lyrics. I bet he wasn't asking what jesus would do when he was throwing petty insults at drunken idiots at a metal concert.
Hold on, hold on, wait a fuckin’ minute. Hold up. MJK judo tossed and choked out some dude while singing in tune the whole time?! How is that not in the annals of rock history?
I remember one time seeing Megadeth, and Mustaine was pissed we kept requesting older songs. He said something like, "there's a list, get Hooked on Phonics." That was pretty funny, lol
I’m sorry to any Nickelback fans out there, but.....that video with the added “boink!” sound when their singer gets his coconut rocked is absolutely hilarious!!! That was some 3 Stooges quality right there!🤣🤣😂😂😂
I love Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl’s reactions. Very classy guys. Courtney on the other hand I have seen first hand. She lectured us on not being loud enough especially since Portland was her home town. She finally walked off stage like a spoiled brat as we all chanted for Marilyn Manson since that is who we came to see anyway. It wasn’t long before Manson fired her from the tour.
Imagine being upset by being taunted with pictures of your recently deceased husband!!!! Imagine being upset about being booed and jeered to get off stage so the main act can come on when they aren't going to come on any earlier regardless. Imagine being such an oblivious asshole that you blame the person on the end of the abuse for being upset by this.

Courtney Love could probably have her own Top 20 Meltdowns video, but I witnessed one of them personally when Hole played Lollapalooza in Raleigh, NC in 1995. It was a two-parter: first, she pushed her guitarist off the stage. Later in the show, she threw her GUITAR at someone in the audience (which is extremely dangerous and probably hit someone she wasn't even aiming at) over something he said that she didn't like. And then she had the gall to send a couple of crew guys into the crowd to get it back for her.
Ya, she is not a nice person. Heard an old roommate of hers (pre Kurt Cobain days) say she was nice while you served her purpose and then treated you like sh!t after she got what she wanted from you.
Haha I like how the band doesn’t even stop playing for Bruce Dickinson. It’s like he does it all the time. Sounds like he’s still just singing new lyrics

I went to see Megadeth live this summer in Stocholm Sweden and there was an asshole in the crowd, and he roasted him with his infamouse "that's what happens when cousins fuck" xD
I 💯 agree. I had to put Dave first cause I'm a huge fan and live for how he shreds moronic fans with out breaking a sweat but Maynard was absolutely fierce. That was legendary.
I did some digging on this..the "house" he's talking about was the money from another show and evidently the guy he was talking to was the crooked promoter who took the money.
Another examples you could add was when Layne Staley smacked a Nazi during one of their concerts. And another when they even change the lyrics to challenge an audience member to fight after he made them upset
You see how Kurt Cobain handle the situation in a perfectly reasonable manner. He kept his shit together, which seems impossible for most of these other people. He was a damn legend
I saw Linda Ronstadt in 1990. The audience was warned not to use flash photography, but someone did anyway. Linda stopped the concert and had the woman escorted out before resuming her performance.
I was taking pictures during a race weekend in the garage and I didn't realize the flash was on. I felt really bad seeming how I have epilepsy and I wouldn't want someone to have an episode.
it was some kind of complicated real estate situation that made him consider that someone stole his house, it probably was the guy he was yelling at unless he hallucinated the wrong person.
No, it was a random man from a completely different part of the country. Wes is a drugged out moron. He wasn't drunk- he was smoking some shit outside in the parking lot.
The one where he scolded that poor girl for texting was ridiculous like why stop the entire show to embarass someone when you have no idea who she's texting and for what? She may have really been texting her 14 yr old daughter. My guess is that she was there with her boyfriend or husband who was a huge fan or whatever. If i were her I would've walked clean tf out of there! He was a genuine a-hole for that stunt! They'll never make it bigger than they are acting like that. I had to sit at the end of a Fall Out Boy concert recently. They had pyrotechnics and smoke effects that made it hard for me to breathe. I’m not asthmatic but I unknowingly contracted bronchitis at that concert and was struggling to breathe towards the end.
It's one thing for performers to get upset when they see misconduct in the crowd or have objects thrown at them. But who the hell do they think they are when calling out fans for sitting down or texting on their phones?
honestly, in the 30 seconds to mars one, all i could think was “what if that person had a health issue? what if they had low iron or blood sugar? what if they were just tired?”

Rock supergroup Rainbow’s 1977 Munich, Germany show almost never happened because bandleader Ritchie Blackmore was in jail in Vienna, Austria. The show, which has spawned a new DVD concert movie, was put back a day as lawyers desperately tried to get the rocker out of jail after he attacked the venue manager during a concert in the Austrian capital - and even then he only just made it. In a new interview for the Live in Munich DVD, former Rainbow bassist Bob Daisley says, “There was a problem with the hall manager; he had an attitude and I think when we went onstage, the audience got a bit rowdy and this manager was being a bit of a d**k. I think he put the house lights on, which really p**sed Ritchie off. Ritchie lashed out with his foot… and he caught him right on the jaw and down he went. “At the end of the show, the police were called in and they had sniffer dogs. Ritchie was hiding in one of the drum cases and the crew were gonna try to smuggle him out but the sniffer dogs and the police found him and they handcuffed him and jailed him, and he was in jail for a couple of days.” Daisley admits he started to give up on the show in Munich, which was scheduled to be filmed by a national broadcaster for a TV special: “We didn’t know when he was gonna get out or if the tour was gonna end or what was gonna happen. We were supposed to go on around 8.30 or nine o’clock at night and Ritchie had just got out of jail in Vienna and he’d just made it to the gig. We ended up going on at about 11.30 at night… but the audience were very patient.” Tour manager Colin Hart adds, “He was (in jail) for three days before we got him out. We had lawyers working from both sides of the Atlantic trying top get him out and we got him to Munich within minutes of being too late to do a performance… Somebody drove him from Austria to there, in the same clothes he was wearing for the Austrian show. “We went onstage about 12 o’clock… and it turned out to be a great show.” The concert movie of the gig was released on DVD last week (30Apr13). Blackmore was later fined $5,000 (£3,125) for breaking the Austrian venue manager’s jaw.

As much as I dislike Nickelback, I have to give it to them for actually telling that crowd to F off. Musicians (even used as loosely as this) don't need to take that kind of shit. Music is a product as much as it is an art and people who act like little shits in a store get kicked out... In this case it is easier to walk off stage than to kick out however many people were in that crowd. addendum: Yeah, it was pretty amusing. addendum 2: Want to talk about getting hit by things, people need to look at Meat Loaf being booed off the stage at Reading, via beer bottles filled with piss (literally)

@@JelloFluoride Yeah. I think Nickelback is creatively bankrupt generic garbage. But they keep selling albums and as I am a capitalist, I have to applaud them for how much they sell. They are definitely doing something right in that department. As to me they are just random people in a crappy band that somehow sells well and I treat them just as I would any other random person I will never meet. Its not like they did anything to piss _me_ off. They just suck. This is reason to boo at them or review their work poorly. To talk shit about them or laugh at people who say they are awesome. Not actually attack them. I want to see them booed off every stage they try to play on because of how I feel about their music. But that is it. You hit the nail on the head by saying that they don't deserve crap like having the audience throw rocks at them. If people go out on stage, one should respect that in and of itself enough to not literally assault them. Regardless of how much you dislike them as a band. POS doesn't even begin to describe anyone who throws shit like rocks at a performer on stage. If you are going to throw something at someone on stage, make it a joint or something.
What happened to nickleback was a real shame , they were a GREAT band at one point in time , silver side up is an incredible album , they were huge and pretty much got destroyed by memes and media shit overnight
There are bands that are humble and appreciate their fans. I took my 17 yr old daughter and her best friend to the no snow concert in Orlando, FL. We met the lead singer of Kill Hannah by chance, he walked up to us at a Tshirt booth and asked if we were enjoying the concert. Then the lead singer if AFI rescued my daughter from an out of control mosh pit when she got pushed down and was stomped on causing injury to her abdomen.
I saw them in Milwaukee, in 1981, for the Moving Pictures tour, and, after one song, Geddy Lee announced: "I'd like to thank the idiot who threw the bottle." Then, they continued on, like nothing ever happened.
What do they give a shit if someone is texting during show. She literally paid money to him what an ass. Flipping him off didnt make it worse he did. And he wasnt kidding w her.
Absolutely! And any of these people who refuse to perform (without just cause like injury) should have to pay back triple the ticket cost to each person. Minimum.

Maybe if he spent as much time honing his craft instead of jumping to stupid conclusions and trying to humiliate someone, his band might not suck so much ass. Plus, he's totally oblivious to the fact that he's drawing attention to the fact that he's putting on a show, and people are zoning out and checking on their kids, the stock market, trying to remember if they turned the porch light, etc. instead of being totally immersed in the performance. I wouldn't have tried to make someone feel humiliated but I'm not a emotionally retarded narcissist who's absolutely devoid of irony. I fell asleep at an Aerosmith show (at 2:00 pm) when I was about twenty, but I thought Aerosmith was as mediocre then as I still do now. My point is, if Steven Tyler had called me out, I would have kicked all of the bandanas off of his pants for trying to embarrass me, and then I would have went back to sleep until my girlfriend had woken me up later. She bought the tickets anyway and I went because she wanted me to go with her, but it was so boring, I would surely fallen asleep, even if I hadn't smoked all of that hash on the ride to Orlando from where we lived on the east coast of Florida. Who the fuck are these mirth-monitoring singers anyway? "Hey, man! Why are you sleeping during "Dream On?!" Because you're boring me to death. Why did YOU embrace statutory rape so disgustingly, Steveareno? We all have questions!"
It’s good to know Courtney’s had to live with Kurt’s ghost all this time, since he ought to be haunting her. Also, she seriously complained about having to live with her daughter? I have to share custody with my daughter’s father and I’d love to have her full time. That whole (get it? - not intended though) clip says a lot about the b’s character. There’s plenty more where that came from: she’s such a villain.
I probably shouldn’t even respond to what is clearly just someone trying to irritate me, especially since I was only using my personal experience as an example, didn’t say anything about the dynamic between us, and so the responder is making quite a grasping inference, but, oh well… I’ll just add that our child is now a teenager and has enough maturity and intelligence to make up her own mind, regardless of my opinion, but tends to agree with me and would prefer to be with me full time, because her dad is psychologically abusive (and because we typically enjoy our time together, among other reasons). No, I’m not going to go into detail. No, I’m not going to keep arguing about it. Actually, “@jaystat6545”, your statement is phrased in a way reminiscent of how he would say things to try instigating an argument in order to emotionally manipulate me/her/us. Of course, it’s a complicated relationship, and he’s not like that constantly. He can be a great dad at times, has never been physically abusive, is reliable, ultimately means well, but is just deeply flawed, etc.. still, the verbal and emotional abuse is a reality. I do my best to co-parent, but sometimes it’s hard. And I’m certainly not perfect either - no parent is. By the way, I don’t “poison” her against him. I try very hard to have honest communication with her about the situation, so she can process her feelings about him with support from myself and others. But like I was saying: all I was really expressing is how much I enjoy having my child with me, and I miss not having her during the time she’s not with me. Actually, her dad feels the same. My point is that it’s a normal feeling for parents who love their children to want them around, even when they’re teenagers! So it struck me as distasteful (at the very least) when C.L. spoke of motherhood like it was a burden. I’m sure you can find examples of her contradicting that sentiment, but she contradicts herself all the time, and this was an off-the-cuff remark, rather than something said in a calm situation like an interview. She’s known for talking out of both sides of her mouth. I don’t like to spend this much time and energy on even just leaving comments, so I definitely don’t enjoy giving my energy to stupid debates with strangers on the internet. I commented initially because I feel strongly about the injustice dealt Kurt Cobain, and I find Courtney to be thoroughly dislikable and, after digesting a heck of a lot of information about the case, I absolutely think she had him killed. Eddie Vedder probably had one of the best ways of handling disruptions in the audience. No unnecessary profanity. No physical approach. He adressed the issue, and removed the problem.
Saw him earlier this year and he just stopped singing to address 2 dudes having it out in the crowd, and just calmly talked telling them to let him know when they were done so the rest of us could all enjoy ourselves.

@@normaryan7717 you make a good point. for those going through the comments, I've got good news. God is good because He gives His blessings to everyone, whether they be good or bad. but everyone has at least, told a lie, or stolen something in their life. and that makes them sinners, and God will not allow sinners in heaven; in His presence, because He is holy. so, God has to punish the sinners in hell, because God is severe and just. but God is also love and He made a way for some to be saved from His wrath. here are the steps:
1. admit that you're a sinner and are lost.
2. realize that the penalty of sin is death (hell).
3. believe that Jesus (who is God) died on the cross, was buried, then rose from the grave, to pay the penalty for man's past, present, and future sins.
4. trust Christ alone as your Savior, and not on your own good deeds to get you to heaven (nor a combination of your faith and self-righteous works).
5. pray to God NOW that you're accepting Christ's free gift of salvation because if you die before making this decision, it's too late, and you'll 🔥🥵😈
6. and to be a disciple, tell people about Jesus, read the bible, go to church regularly to know God's will for your life.
Mustaine handles it really well, humiliation back and entertaining to the fans. Reminds me of Ricky Gervais. And he keeps his cool and finishes the show. Bruce has his moments seen a few live.
Dave is simply a legend
Bruce is embarrassing a.f. During the Judas Priest show at the same venue there were also flares and more of them, wafting over the stage. Did Rob freak out over it like a baby? Nah. His phone kick was also quite lame however.
I detest Mustaine. I will say in these clips he is justified. Just turns my stomach tho ...Him and Hetfield. They deserve each other. 😂

And what if you don't WANT to. Some of these primadonnas think they're the center of everything, and that paying to hear them play live, after buying their CD, means you owe them worship. Nah. They're working for you. They need to just do what they're being paid for. If they're any good at it, everyone will pay attention. If they have to ask you to pay attention, they're not as good at it as they think. And NO, not everyone is there to see the headline act. There are plenty of people in the crowd who came to see one of the support acts, and couldn't gve a shit about the headline band.

I remember an incident back in the mid 1970s in Germany when Ritchie Blackmore from Deep Purple saw a guy in the crowd slap a girl and walked over and kicked him in the face, he tried to hide in a speaker case but was found and sat in jail for a few days then was find for it.
It's kinda sh*tty how they treated him for helping someone else who was being assaulted. That's just persecution because he's a celebrity. Any other guy who took a woman's defense in a violent situation would be congratulated

Ritchie was hiding in one of the drum cases and the crew were gonna try to smuggle him out but the sniffer dogs and the police found him and they handcuffed him and jailed him, and he was in jail for a couple of days.”
Daisley admits he started to give up on the show in Munich, which was scheduled to be filmed by a national broadcaster for a TV special: “We didn’t know when he was gonna get out or if the tour was gonna end or what was gonna happen. We were supposed to go on around 8.30 or nine o’clock at night and Ritchie had just got out of jail in Vienna and he’d just made it to the gig. We ended up going on at about 11.30 at night… but the audience were very patient.”
Tour manager Colin Hart adds, “He was (in jail) for three days before we got him out. We had lawyers working from both sides of the Atlantic trying top get him out and we got him to Munich within minutes of being too late to do a performance… Somebody drove him from Austria to there, in the same clothes he was wearing for the Austrian show.
“We went onstage about 12 o’clock… and it turned out to be a great show.”
The concert movie of the gig was released on DVD last week (30Apr13).
Blackmore was later fined $5,000 (£3,125) for breaking the Austrian venue manager’s jaw.

Back in ‘84, Dee Snider stopped a Twisted Sister show to demand that one guy, way across the stadium, get up off his seat. It was hilarious, and I figured it was just part of the show. The poor guy was very drunk and sat back down right after his friends stood him up 😂 but at least the concert resumed..

I was there too. That guy was a friend of mine and he wasn't drunk, he stayed in his seat because he'd smuggled a bong into the arena and a cop was sitting right behind him. In 1984, cops weren't very understanding about such things.

Whether you love or hate Nickelback you gotta admit Chad Kroger getting hit by a rock with the added “doink” sound was hilarious 🤣

I totally agree man. I don't like Nickleback at all but NONE of us want to go on stage to get rocks thrown at us. And I don't think those guys did anything to deserve being treated like that. @@whyjnot420
@@JelloFluoride Yeah. I think Nickelback is creatively bankrupt generic garbage. But they keep selling albums and as I am a capitalist, I have to applaud them for how much they sell. They are definitely doing something right in that department. (I would argue the thing they are doing right is actually being creatively bankrupt generic crap)
So I hate them as art but appreciate them as a product. I cannot hate or like them as people.

This is why i totally respect the Group Rush. Those guys never acted like this on stage.
Rush was about music, not inflated egos!
I saw them in Milwaukee, in 1981, for the Moving Pictures tour, and, after one song, Geddy Lee announced: "I'd like to thank the idiot who threw the bottle." Then, they continued on, like nothing ever happened.
Rush’s music was too intellectual to attract too many idiots like this. Thank god.
I actually think it's pretty cool when a band member actually stops a show when they see someone fucking with another fan.

@@johnv6806who gives a fuck? Don't be concerned with what the fuck someone is doing in the seat they paid for with their own damn money.
Hopefully your child doesn't see the resentment you have for the other parent. Having to share and all....
I probably shouldn’t even respond to what is clearly just someone trying to irritate me, especially since I was only using my personal experience as an example, didn’t say anything about the dynamic between us, and so the responder is making quite a grasping inference, but, oh well…
I’ll just add that our child is now a teenager and has enough maturity and intelligence to make up her own mind, regardless of my opinion, but tends to agree with me and would prefer to be with me full time, because her dad is psychologically abusive (and because we typically enjoy our time together, among other reasons).
Her remarks, shown in this video, don’t seem to support her innocence, in my opinion. … Regarding the response to my comment: I felt the need to defend myself, which was, I’m sure, this dude’s goal, so there, you got what you wanted, and now you can piss off, ok? Ok.
I'm humbled and wrong. Thank you for taking time to explain, not that you had to ofcourse. You certainly seem to check all my boxes of being an outstanding parent. My apologies.@@nuthinmuffins5073
