@@argetlamznthey won’t ever release straight nails because the “bend” is there to keep the structure. They would snap right in half if not and that would hurrrrtt.
I used kiss when i was a teenager. Used them for my prom in 1986. Kiss has come a long way. Im 56 now and kiss is still rocking the nail game.

I just wanna add, for everyone scared of allergies, I recommend using hema-free gels as HEMA is the ingredient in any gel polish that causes contact dermatitis to develop. I recently developed a mild allergy to hema and have been using entirely hema free products since then and I can tell you they don’t give me a reaction. Some brands I would recommend: bevlah, mithmillo and dvok for Korean gels and apres has a sensitive/ hema-free version of their extend gel as well. Also want to add, contact dermatitis will develop anyways if you are someone who is prone to developing it or already have it for another ingredient (eg fragrance) and only applying it on your nail bed vs skin will not make a difference as the particles are very small and are absorbed into the skin through the nail bed anyways so I would recommend to always use a hema free base gel on your natural nails to start. Hope this helps 😊❤
I tried these back in March. It's the FIRST time I've ever done my own nails that they didn't pop off within a few days. I literally had to soak these off after 2 weeks.
I say they are DEFINITELY worth the $20!❤

@@lillyburdenSafeway has it for $10 USD. Only problem is that my nail beds are too wide to use them (difference of about 2 mm). So, unless you're like me and have trouble finding tips that fit, I say, "Go for it!"
Okay I tried this kit and honestly better quality than my $150 Kiara Sky gel x kit lol I got over 2 weeks of wear and probably could have gone longer if I didn't have a stressful week at work haha

When I say these are the BEST press on set. I’m usually rough with my nails so press on nails never last long with me. Especially the longer ones. But these are still on and haven’t lost the coffin shape after a week of me dinging them up 😂. Now they just need to come out with more designs!
Also the darker pink ones work really good if you want to do a ombre and use acrylic or polygel you just placed them halfway on your nail and because they're shaped a little bit more square they fit actually really well
I love that number circle for how much gel to apply 🎉 Thats my biggest problem. I always put way to much 😮
I tried the kit today. The gel is thick too so it's not making a runny mess.

I can grow my nails on my non dominant hand easier than my dominant hand, mostly because I ruin my dominant hand with mistakes. I love encapsulating glitter on my long nails. It looks so good! And I found out that syrups look amazing over that glitter too! I spent way too much on Korean polishes this year…not as much as you, but like $1000+ and I think I’m done.

Evie, I’ve found it is so much easier to face the lamp the opposite direction of the hand you’re curing (facing the opening left to cure fingers on your right hand). Helps with placing those fingers quickly!

my beetles lamp (the orig. one) just died so i was looking for a new kit and i have a lot of clear tips already and wanted a lamp w/ a longer cord and motion sense or a switch so this is perfect! i first got my beetles kit when you put out that review years ago, and you're still the first person i turn to for info on new ones! tysm for such fun and informative content! 😄

I have cuticle nippers with a 3mm blade from that same brand and I love them. They were like $30 or something but well worth it, and the smaller blade is so much better in my opinion

Ive want wanting to try this set. I would only use the refill kit but I wanted to see how they fit most of all. These gel tips always fit too flat for my nailbeds. Plastic makes a white line so idk who said it doesnt if its gel.
I would buy that kit just for the lamp design. I Love It! It is perfect.

I used to keep an overlay
(builder in a bottle) on my nails and filed them down to a medium length when they got to long. I started watching all these videos about the Gel X method and the awesome premade Halloween nails finally got me to cut them down and seeing your left hand made me miss them😅. I still keep a very thin overlay to protect my nail beds, but trying to keep the length as well made double the work and I gave up😊 That patty gel color you have is gorgeous ❤ That's nearly the same color I used to keep as an overlay. Ok back to the video😂

I love watching your videos because as a short nail girl watching you make your nails has has given me the courage to try some long nails so I ordered a couple from Temu and I have the same kit as in the video so I’m using the gel to glue them on. Maybe you could try some different ones from a different company and see how it works or if they all are the same in the end? ❤

I feel like they do those sheer colors because it easier for the light to cure them. If they were any darker it wouldn’t cure at all if properly
i got this kit and been waiting for you to try the lamp. i only got it for the lamp but those tips look okay. im just not a fan of how they curve the tip on the sides.

Just a little FYI you can file those nails and it does not take off the color you can actually top coat it with a top coat and it goes better if you fill the top looks more natural
