My toxic trait is watching a video like this, deciding i can totally do that too, buying all the supplies, realising its takes a lot more time, effort and skill than i thought and then never using it again😅 but fr this was super relaxing to watch ❤😊
Me. I spent over $500 on different nail things and I'm sitting here natural nails lmao. I've got a massive plastic bin of polygel, tips, acrylic, liquid gels, dip powder, gel polishes etc, yet I keep buying to try. I feel dumb knowing full well I could have used that towards my bills. But I'd be lying if this video hasn't got me looking at the kit online right now lmao.❤
Have y’all tried gel-x? I’m the same exact way with buying and then trying once and giving up. I just got some gel-x stuff and it’s so much faster and enjoyable
@@lian-here I have a kit being delivered today or tomorrow! I've tried the gel x dupes, and I always get my hair caught in the back when they grow out. But I've seen people apply them a smidgen lower from the cuticle and then put poly gel or rubber base gel in the gap and that's supposed to stop the hair getting snagged. So fingers crossed it works!
Guys....resident nail tech here. Just an FYI, prior to gel tips, they were all pretty much made of acrylic. This one just has an added apex so that you don't have to add an apex yourself.
@highpricedkid28 Yes, the apex of a nail is the highest point of a nail enhancement, and it's located at the nail's weakest point. It is created to give the nail strength and balance. You mostly see it from the side view of the nail, but it also prevents the nail from looking flat.
@@kelly01179Wouldn’t recommend it since the placement of the apex depends on the length of the nail, if you shorten the tips the apex is going to have an off placement and it would look weird and affect the longevity of your set
I’m a nail tech and I’m in love with these since coming across them several months ago. They’re my personal choice for day to day wear. They’re made for flat natural nails so you’d have an issue if you have higher arched nail beds. These are solid all the way through as well. They can be filled, but you have to be experienced enough to do a rebalance, because that is what is required. It’s almost worth it to just remove them and put a new set on each month. They last just as long as any other nail enhancement. I have my current set on for just over 4wks with zero lifting. I only do Russian/Combo Dry manicures so my enhancements also tend not look so grown out compared to regular salons. These are seriously a game changer!!! Can’t wait for other shapes!
I can't wait for the other shapes either! I wrote to the company last month to see if they sell individual packets (I got the 500 set and my 5s, 6s, and 7s were running out) but they said no, BUT they were going to tell the company about the idea and we could possibly see that option in the future ❤
That’s me! I’m like damn, I just bought a pack of 500… But then I watch this video and see how strong and well fitted they are… Lol I may just go ahead and purchase these. I’ll be good for the WHOLE YEAR!!!😂😂😂
The sweater, the hair, the nails, it's all working girl! The nails turned out so pretty. That table is expensive but it's gorgeous. Hope you are able to get it sooner than later. That's quality furniture that will last a lifetime.
I love the marble design you did, and the gold accents were the icing on the cake! The only thing that worries me about the Tipex nails is that you want your nail enhancements to have a give, or it could damage your natural nails if you hit them by accident or anything like that. Would love to have an update on how they wore befbefore you remove them 😊❤
Maybe now that you found these, they’ll make different shapes! They are about to blow up! My favorite nail tips!!! Praying for these in stilettos!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
So happy to see you reviewing these! I LOVE these nails I have flat nail beds, these gel ex nails are the only ones o don’t have issues popping off or lifting! SN: they do have a smaller kit with less nails and a nail file and nail lamp it’s their starter kit.
So glad to see your comment. I also have pretty flat nails and have been running through various products and ways to fill that gap in the nail so they actually make good contact
Those nails look perfect for you. They are literally the same shape you normally do ur nails with the apex. But looked like way less work because you didn't have to build the apex or shape it after. I might have to try those out. They seem so easy.
I wish i could post pictures .. all her concerns to me shouldn’t have been on these nails are perfect I’ve been selling cloud acrylic press ons with these nails and everyone loves them. I do have pictures in my community tab on my page if you want to see the results. You definitely should buy these nails
I am at 3:25 into the video, and I have a feeling you are going to LOVE these tips after wearing them. It’s like having a crystal clear acrylic nail as a press on. No mess acrylic nails. I think I want some now. Hope they make some just a tad shorter.
I've been using these for several months now and they are so beginner friendly for someone who is just starting doing their own nails. They look absolutely perfect every single time you do them and I get so many compliments. If anything squishes out the side, use the cuticle bit and it takes it off so easily. Plus the glue is sort of flexible so you don't feel like the nail is ripping your fingernail off as you wear them. I love that they're rigid and they feel very very strong, I always hated tips that were flexible cuz they felt like they were just going to bend and break all the time.
I'm glad you loved it and have had such great results. I'm thinking about getting these but I'm trying to stay away from the lamps. Do you think this would work with regular nail glue or will the gap be too big?
@@Ima_Wake There actually isn't a gap, the apex is solid. So you could absolutely glue these down if you wanted to. They are very easy to shape to your cuticles as well. Just be careful not to file too much as the edges file away quickly.
