I was believing in Islam only because I was born in a Muslim family. When, I was take a decision on my own, I became a non believer.
You became a non believer because you did not want to offer namaz five times a day and you wanted to commit all the evil activities which Islam has prohibited like drinking alcohol and now you are giving the nonsense reason for becoming an atheist.

One more reason why people believe in religion or God is because they are scared of the reality, they suffer in this cruel life (which most of us do), and they don't want to take the responsibility that whatever is happening is because of us. Therefore, filling the gaps with God comes as a defensive mechanism. I know people who just believe in God because they find positivity and peace in believing.

Vimoh I have recently been watching your videos a lot. I come from a religious family too... and there are so many nuances to practicing religion that not many people talk about. Your channel is seriously a breath of fresh air!!!!
Typically, bol diya jata hai humein ki wishwaas karo, but if you ask questions as a child, they dont have any satisfactory answers about god etc. They use fear and subtle intimidation to indoctrinate you.

Atheism makes sense and sounds logical sometimes but what's really confusing and worth contemplating is that how can all of this universe ( I won't declare it a creation ) just randomly emerge out of nowhere.
Just like emergence of trillions of species in 3.6 billion years, same can happen to universe in 13.5 billion years ( I am not saying with surety, but there is a possibility )
but don't u think how such a massive universe came to life...
what's there when nothing is there...If the universe had not existed, nothing would have happened, so what would have been the thing, what would have been the situation?

Sir basically religion and god gives a sense of satisfaction that someone is there for me I'm an atheist but still I'm praying to god before my exams so i understand why religious people get so angry when you question there believe it's like you're taking away something from them
Yeah religion feeds on people's fear and insecutites (which is normal and every human being has them) but many people cannot face them so god is the the way they choose and the underlying core psychology is that "ignorance is bliss"
Ppl pray to God bcz ppl hv doubts whether they can achieve whatever they want to achieve on their own. Nobody prays to god selflessly. Ppl hv selfish reasons.It's the feeling dat someone up there is going to help me achieve dat and iam not alone in this pursuit gives hope . When ppl get good results in life(pure coincidence and efforts) they think God helped dem and their faith becomes stronger and wen they dont dey denounce God whereas there are some ppl who are so weak mentally that though they are utter failures they still look up to God. E.g - Poverty stricken ppl praying to God with empty stomach and terminal diseases thinking dat either God will help dem or atleast they won't see anything worse in future

Everyone tries to convince me that God is like this and like that, but I did not have any proper answers for them, but after watching your video, it has become easy for me that if someone says something like this to me, I will send your video.I don't have to explain it to everyone again and again.

This is the same rationale I have been trying to induce with my family and friends, however most people dont want to are too afraid of their spiritual indoctrination and social consequences and they wanted to stay around that.
Te big question is why?? I am a atheist myself, but I don’t go around preaching my beliefs to others. I don’t want to prove anyone wrong or prove that my beliefs (lack of belief) is correct.

Most people go to religion only for comfort for things that are not under thier control.. TO take your example - a guy with a daughter suffering from terminal cancer, will offcourse take his daughter to a doctor. he will do all the necessary treatments. But he knows its terminal. So as a final thing, he prays... he prays to a god that he himseld knows may not exist. But its the hope and the small slimmer of a possibility of a miracle that keeps him going. Again i dont condone this, but if it helps someone who is in distress, sleep well. Then who am i to burst his bubbles

That's a next step for your live stream. Invite well meaning people who have converted to another religion in their adulthood and ask them why did they choose that religion. That could give another perspective, something different from people who were born in their present religion or don't follow any religion.

I am also like you born in a Hindu household.
But I chose not to blindly believe what was said.
When I was in my late teens and early twenties,
I studied and analyzed multiple religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, bits of Christianity, and other ones too.
Over time I realized that religion supports the man through all stages of their wisdom.
In the early stages, it's stupid as you say. Just something to support man in his unpredictable life.
But in the advanced philosophy of all these religions,
the unified existence as a whole is called God.
Most of the depictions of God are just symbolic of that.
It gradually leads man, to the higher understanding of his true nature.

It's just theory but in actual history we found proof of (proper proof) of Greek n Egyptian mythology... Hinduism do not have archaeological evidence of religious scriptures neither any king in past left any proof of Hinduism like Egyptian king did under their graveyard...
There is no proof of hinduism being the oldest religion. There are no archeological proof no literary proof or any foreigners account. The oldest proof that people could find belonged to 15th century.
India always followed the shraman culture. Also alternatively called as master student culture. There have been lot of enlightened teachers in india who had a lot of followers. Unfortunately the concept of religion came to India when the Islamic kings invaded India. Hinduism came into existence during their period only.

Let me tell you in detail. Hinduism was nothing. Hinduism was created because Muslims invaded us, and to unite people following a certain sort of science, Hinduism was created. Second, it might be the oldest recorded form of humans practicing science. Creating God as a matter of science is obvious to most of humanity. Recording it properly and passin the information far better was uncommon. Now, search 'God of the Gaps' theory. People create a God to fill the gap of knowledge they have no idea of. Most of what is called hinduism or Sanatan Dharma, is old science which if followed today, will be pseudoscience. Science changes but Religion never changes. That is why religion is not helping society nowadays, it might be destroying it.

Since childhood, I have had the habit of questioning, having been born in a Muslim household. However, whenever I asked questions about religion, I was silenced. Now, at the age of 35, I only swear to be good and do not believe in any god. If there is a superpower, it wouldn't be as depicted in religion.

I'm an atheist myself, this fascinates me a lot. Why is it that some people believe? Your answer is right.... For most people, it is because they're born into their family. With some others the reasons can vary. For some it may be a way to cope with abject sadness and suffering, and as a defense mechanism, they turn to God. For some it also must be true that they escape a life threatening situation, and then ascribe that luck to God looking out for them (causation becomes equal to correlation for them), and then there are some who would simply experience the wonders of the universe, and sometimes that experience moves beyond their comprehension due to the emotions that come along with it. I remember walking down a mountain with a group of friends, and a ray of sunlight fell on me, and I felt such a warmth and the scenery just took me by surprise. I started to think that perhaps God touched me.
But then again, I was high as fuck on weed.
Still a beautiful trip though.. but that is not evidence for God as far as I am concerned.

My mum is highly religious, my dad believes, me and my brother are non believers. My parent's didn't push religion on me, neither did they say our religion is better than others or anything. There is a youtube channel named "Hyper Quest" making video on hindu religion, in this channel there a recent video about etheist.
I asked 7 rational questions in comment, but surprisely instead of giving reply they deleted my all question from their comment section.
I realised that they also don't know that God is an Existence or Imagination.
I think in this way this type of so-called andh bhakt silenced all the truths.
3500 years ago, scholar Brihaspati said that Religion is the biggest hypocrisy, and after that his records were burnt by the other.
In fact, the religious scammers earning money by fooling innocent people.
Many people are aethist at heart and religious to show off. This happens as they study and grow. Following a certain portion of religious practice may actually be needed but appreciating other religions is also important. Dharmas are just optional philosophies and many times these philosophies have seeded scientific inventions also. Just a simple suggestion, give more examples while giving your arguments.

Even by that logic, I am Hindu (practitioner of sanatan dharma) because my parents were hindu, and they are hindu, because their parents were, and like this it is coming from many many generations and ages and yugas.
The basic fundamentals are from scriptures, which are also eternally existing and recently in kalyug are presented in written form.
Counter question to the speaker is, if he is sure of about the date when the sanatan dharma started to surface up, any dates?
I can give him proofs that sanatan dharma is eternal.
Sanatan dharma has immense science in itself. The vedic calendars, jyotish vidya, ayurveda, viman Shastra, natya shashtra, the current practices, are so scientific.
It is very irrational to put forward any random persons arguments and then react on them.
There are wrong practices, and in today's times many people are very ill informed about the science of spirituality. But there are right practices also, right knowledge also, authentic presentation of Scriptures also. So present argument against those. If you can.
Most people are so dumb to agree with people like you and with irrational arguments. They don't even bother to do some self exploration.
It takes 5 to 6 years of study to be even called as authentic engineer or doctor or advocate what not. And here comes people with no qualification whatsoever to even utter a word on vast and deep subject matter of sanatan dharma

I have been practicing Hinduism mainly in the vaishnav sect since 2021 after I read Gita ...as I proceeded reading other scriptures I saw many factual and scientific mistakes in the scriptures, as a biology student was so confused between evolution and creationism. The latter one made no sense and was only based on faith...I just convinced myself that it was somehow true...but deep inside I knew it made no sense....I used to cry a lot and went into depression as I developed self hatred about the emotions I had , I would slap myself and would pinch myself (mainly lust anger envy etc) and still I was trying to convince myself as I was happy following bhakti... I was so brainwashed listening the the lectures of premanand baba that I couldn't digest the fact that one can be very happy without involving God in his life....I am getting agnostic but still have some questions in my mind...like I have seen these babajis and myself crying in kirtans and just hearing the names of lord ...what is the science behind it? Why do hearing hymns sound "peaceful"....
The concept of God is in a way to grant us stability and separate our accountability and responsibility from our actions. That's why when a normal person after living a normal and average life finds in a way a peaceful recreation when they indulge in devotion and hymn,song recitals . Of course this can be solved by self actualization and understanding the truth which is that there is no objective meaning for our existence , suffering and events and that we need to create our meaning in life (a subjective meaning) to live it peacefully and without crisis.
I would say read other religions also particularly Islam!

You don't know and to be honest, why should anything be wrong or right? Morality doesn't exist. It was created so societies could be maintained and some leaders could remain on top. If people lost morals, nobody would lead and nobody will be safe. You just need to know that. To be honest, morals were just made by a group of people to control insanity, and perhaps, people revolting against any sort of leaders.
The nature as it is, is cruel. We are animals. All humans are. The universe has no pity for us. An asteroid and we wipe out. At some point in history, being gay was morally wrong. Now it isn't. At some point in history, child marriages were morally right, now they aren't. Morals are not objective. They are subjective and need to change with time. But religion ofcourse stops change. Fake Gods must not control our brains so that the higher ups enjoy their mental freedom.
Simple hai agar apko bevajh koi pareshan kar raha hai to apko dukh hoga, apke sath galt hoga to dukh hoga ise tum ye samjo ki hum bhi dusro ko bevajh dukh nahi dena hai.
