I found being direct is way more useful than being polite and indirect, it’s important to be transparent when it comes to finding out what the candidate wants and if that’s not the case especially the salary range is often not clear
Thank you for these videos!!! I juuuust got my first job offer today for an internal full lifecycle Tech Recruiter position and swear half of my confidence in the interview process came from what I learned watching your content!! 👏🏼
That is awesome!
Completely agree!! Congrats!
As a recruiter, I always still make time to manage and send a quite note to those that dont qualify. I agree on treating candidates well like they are your customers whether you offer a job or not. They do actually come back and give feedbacks...good and bad on you and your company!!! There is no real rule on it but a former coworker was lazy about it. Eventually a candidate was so mad, took the extend of complaining and making comments on social media towards that company that it drew attention to that recruiter and her team. Afterall, its so easy to find anyone on LinkedIn these days. I know that there are some work that are heavy set, demandable and you feel that you cannot just respond to each candidate BUT you can always mass email. Ignoring a nonqualified is the worse ethic. I see alot of recruiters do so. And if you feel you dont have time, that means you are NOT a multitasker and cannot handle this kind of work.
Thanks for your input!
This is a highly valuable content summarized in 10 mins, Brianna! It's very informative and easy to understand. HR newbies, and even professionals, should take a piece or two from this video. 👏
Just an additional sentiment which can also be helpful to our HR friends... pre-screening is very important in turning a candidate into a potential hire. As an organization, one of the responsibilities you have in plate is to validate whether the details or info given are true and correct, and one of the ways to validate info provided is by using an SSN Validator tool. Just keep in mind that whatever results retrieved shouldn't be use to discriminate or suspend a potential hire without due cause.
I began my recruitment journey in April, and I’m loving your videos!
I hope it's going well!
Hi how much are you getting paid for recruiting if you don’t mind sharing thanks!
Nice, How's your your recruitment doing now?
Thanks Brianna! Wanted to ask if you also plan to make videos in the future about overcoming common objections on the client and candidate side.
Noted!
I’m starting Monday as a recruiter, thank you for this insightful video it’s very informative. Just subscribed 🌸
How is it going for you so far? I just started as a recruiter 2 weeks ago and I am trying to learn everything I can, it is very fast paced and I feel like I am behind! I really like it though.
Hey where did you Apply? I have no experience and want to apply
@@terryhowell1545 how is it going for you now
Glad it was helpful! How is the new role going?
Another great video, solid information
Much appreciated!
Brianna (I hope that I spelled your name right, sorry if I didn't) after 6+ months of trying to get back into the business after a bad experience I just got hired again using your Boolean search methods to help with a pre-employment assignment & tomorrow I start & I'm watching this video just to get my mind right for the journey...thanks for posting these for us Jr. Recruiters to learn...I appreciate it!
I am so excited to hear that. Congrats on your new role!
@@TheMillionaireRecruiter thanks...you & others helped me here...but, your videos are awesome...@Orchard by the way...I'm a Recruiting Coordinator also doing Sourcing (I took notes from another of your videos) & working with 1 of our government contractors.
Thank you so much for the video. I’m a new recruiter and this helps. Would you be able to do a video on building a consistent pipeline when jobs are low?
Hi Ace. Can you elaborate a little more on this question? Are you talking about the agency side, finding candidates when client roles or low?
Without fail, the best employees that my business has ever hired are consistently referred through existing team members. In a decade, we have never once gotten a respectable or responsible hire through a recruiter.
There is a reason for that, Jordan
That would be a internal recruit 😮
Hi! Do you have any advice for someone who is passionate about recruiting but doesn’t have much experience?
I am about to graduate with a double major in Psych and Comm, I have job experiences with sales, recruitment in uni organizations, and I am willing to learn and invest in HR/recruiting certifications while working full time if I was to get the job.
Yes, go for it! Start applying to different jobs in the recruiting field (recruiting coordinator, sourcer, university recruiter, etc.) - there will be companies out there hiring new grads!
What do you think about cold calling?
Great video
I loved it when u said "even Canada is okey" 😂
With regard to scheduling - what you suggested is still not scalable...only automation provides the solution. Why not use scheduleonce or calendly for example. So much of your time is doing repetitive jobs...
I love to send my availability via LinkedIn and share my calendar via email. I let candidates know to feel free to schedule something if they like. 8/10 they schedule something.
I am a talent acquisition executive and I struggle with knowing how to reach out to candidates who submitted applications. Is it best to email them to schedule an introductory phone call, or to go ahead and just call them straight from their phone number on their resume?
I would call and if they don’t answer leave a voicemail and then send an email
Good video, thank you.
Glad it's helpful!
@@TheMillionaireRecruiter Tomorrow second interview, I hope I got this job :D
I started a month a go, got my first placement. But still shy on the phone in the office with my colleague, any tips?
It'll get easier the more you do it. I'm sure your colleagues are rooting for you as well.
Me too lol
Thank you, that was very useful :)
Glad to hear that!
I wanted to get into the Boot Camp but cannot get into see how much it is or how to purchase

As a recruiter in the united states, can I do recruiting for jobs in other countries?
Yes, if that company offers relocation assistance for high end salary jobs
I recruit us citizen,s from India. But the pay rate in India is "one day earning of recruiter in usa" we work same we recruit same people. Then why this much salary gap ???????
Don’t ask if they have kids!!! That’s against the law.
Good ideas but i would suggest not talking about their kids unless the candidate brings it up.
