    I've seen a trend within the last few years. A lot of hiring managers have said "tell me about the best boss you have ever had and about the worst supervisor you have ever had." That to me is a question within a question. On the first, they want to see what working conditions were the right fit for you and what you got excited about.
    The second is to see if or how bad you talk trash about someone else. Both of these I think can tell them a LOT about the kind of personality you have.

    One thing you didn't touch on was getting past the 'experience requirement'. It seems that every role I've come across is asking for that. How do you get past that if you've never had a recruiter role?

    I never thought I would've thought I found myself in recruiting and enjoying it. I have a few interviews this week for a new recruiting opportunities. I'm very hungry and ready to make the big bucks! I'm going to check out that 3 hour course. I'm coming from an artistic background and media background but I've stepped into a lot of positions that were uncomfortable so that I could grow and expand my skills. This was a motivating video!

    This is so helpful!
    Quick question: When you said, “how much money would you make this year in a perfect world? “ Is that referring to salary for this position, comission, or what?

    • @briannarooney1018
      @briannarooney1018 2 роки тому +2

      That is simply meant to see how money motivated you are. Plus, it shows what kind of a dreamer you are. Most extra literal people have trouble reaching for the stars. Those personalities tend to have a hard time in sales.

    • @GraphyteTV
      @GraphyteTV Рік тому

      @@TheMillionaireRecruiter the hardest questions asked were “what is my biggest professional failure?” And also, “how do I source if we don’t have the budget for a LinkedIn or indeed? “ I would love if you had an answer for the second question.

    • @TheMillionaireRecruiter
      @TheMillionaireRecruiter  Рік тому +1

      @@GraphyteTV The failure question is a good one. They are trying to grasp what your relationship is with failure. You can source a lot on Linkedin for free. You can also do Google x-ray searches and join slack groups. Plus, you can get Linkedin Sales Navigator for $99 a month. In my opinion, if a company can't afford at least that, I wouldn't work there.

    So, I recently started my first full-cycle recruiting job, and it’s not what I thought it would be. I’m creating my own material to advertise (i.e flyers, job descriptions), and sitting behind a computer screen all day. I’m not talking to candidates, and not interacting face-to-face with people. Is this normal?

    • @TheMillionaireRecruiter
      @TheMillionaireRecruiter  3 роки тому

      That does not sound normal for a full cycle recruiter, though it may be different depending on the industry you're in. (I am sitting behind a computer all day and doing Zoom/phone calls)
