The diameter of particles must be greater than or equal to 350 nm to 720 nm , to show Tyndall effect In NCERT textbook, there is nothing written as that , the size of particles of colloids are of 100nm. If we conclude the size of colloids to be 100nm, then it will not show Tyndall effect, because it will not be able to scatter light. So, I don't agree with this statement The size of particles of colloids should be greater than 1nm and less than 1000nm. Thanks for reading!
