Damn your videos came a long way 😂😂
Yeah, I noticed lol
Right
He could model a stock photo.
I got diamonds on both ears as a straight guy, after that my whole group of homies did, and a lot of guys at my school have earrings
I'm 24, have a professional job, I have 11 piercings, including 5 on my right ear. I wear them daily, they don't hold me
People are starting to stretch their holes.
Nah I just stretch other people's holes
+I Spencer I I got earrings and am 11 am in 7th grade
+KING JON how the hell are you in 7th grade if your only 11
skipped a grade
lmfao
Getting my ears pierced today with my homie just wanted to see whats gooood
idc what anyone says, im a guy with single stud piercing on both ears, (like you) and I like it. idc if anyone else doesn't like it. I do it for me, bc I like them and I like to see other people with piercings as well, same thing with jewelry, i think men and women look good with jewelry on, its just one of those things that give a little touch up on your style. ive never received a bad comment on my earrings bc I have the face and style to pull it off, sure theirs going to be others who don't like it but so what? you know what I mean lol. yes, some people over due it with too much jewelry or too many piercings or gauges and yes it can be unprofessional under certain circumstances but if your that kind of person who chooses not to be put in that cubical wearing a suit and tie everyday then shit dude, express yourself the way you want. I don't judge people by their choice of style. but that's just me :]
leo johnson Agreed! So true!
leo johnson I would love to have my ears pierced where it's not big but it's noticeable.
And I want to get some tattoos.
Avery NiteStar Glover I'm a dude 16 btw and I got my ears pierced quite a while ago and I will recommend if you wear the right earrings and dress nice and smell well or are just well groomed you'll look great. I'm about to get two more in each ear so that I an wear four studs and I can actually pull them off as well lol. And then I'm getting an eyebrow piercing lol because surprisingly I can pull off a lot of different piercings. Yeah but anyways go for it dude. Oh and I don't recommend silver safari they're more expensive I got mine done at this store called Claire's and they're a lot cheaper. Or you can do it yourself. Good luck dude
Have fun and stay schwifty
Inferno.
Avery NiteStar Glover then what's the point
I’ve been on your page for about 2 years didn’t know you’ve been at this for over 9 years!!!😂 sick video though! Just go my ears done today but I’m choosing studs to put in after 3 weeks
Daaaamn how great it was stumbling upon your older vids mate😂 you've come a long way
@Dayberry Dude...thanks for sharing and helping me make my point
Piercings don't hold you back from a job. there are ways to hide them. I'm getting my tragus pierced (the little like triangle-ish area parallel to the ear) and I can put in a retainer and the hole won't close, it won't scar, and I can still get a job.
Old alpha videos are like DD national news channel😂😂😂
Watching this with my two piercings 😂 I love hearing people's opinions on them! And that's why I got them, to hear the controversy!
I like em.
Thing is though, piercings add another thing for people to have a preference about.
Some people love them, and some people hate them - you run the risk of either when you put them on.
if you don't have them theres no chance of that happening
I've had both of my ears gauged to a 2g and they healed up just fine without any sagging or drooping of my lobes. I now have two normal sized holes in my ears for a standard earrings and I just recently got my helix or top left cartilage pierced in my ear. I love it and I don't wear anything, but my helix now in my ears.
This amazes me, compare this video to his current videos hahaha man he's f***** dedicated, hes been doing this for years! You are motivational asf
I just got the simple earrings like you Aaron sooo... Yeah I'm just sticking with my simple earrings and I'm happy with them😊
Some people in this comments section needs to chill this is 5 years ago and people are way more accepting of it especially businesses Mustang
Most anyway
@Tsjoosie me too. True story: every time my grandfather would call our house when I was younger, I would answer the phone and he always thought I was my mother.
OOF
digging the new look man
Totally "LIKED" the ending :D Great Vids.
Hey Aaron, your video really helped me out too in just a couple of months! I really wish to thank you! See you in Atlanta (maybe!)
yeah man, ever since i started watching ur videos i started to dress nicer, and know more general style tips for men than most of my friends. it has helped me greatly with my confidence, and how ppl see me. in high school (so like 4 years ago), i had hair down to my shoulders, 8 piercings, couple tattoos, and just wore alot of baggy cloths, not too mention i was a twig.
Ho-lee shit you had some humble beginnings! Lmao Been a sub for several years, but haven't ever seen a video this old. It's impressive really.
I have a frenum piercing, women get excited when they find out, most have never experienced one. It's more asthetically pleasing than a prince Albert and didn't hurt at all. I also have several other piercings and tattoos... but I just like them and I'm a lifelong musician and I play in a death metal band so it works for me.
its still completely cool i just got my ear pierced the other day and i only have studs and thats the way i plan to stay
dude your hair is awesome
I love your vids!! they're a huge help. thanks and keep doing what your doing, your really good at it. how about a video on acne care or Hair care/style products??
I love how you ended the video.....priceless!!
The cross earrings are dope and I have one.
Man your the best! im from the uk and the hole both ear Piercing think is big atm so your still in the game my friend lol. keep up the gud work!
i have both my lopes pierced (they were stretched before but i took them out, but plan re stretching them early 2014), i have both sides of my lower lip pierced, my eyebrow, both of my nostrils, and my conch (the inner-back cartilage of your ear), and i love them all; i do not regret them.
I am 31 and a bit ol school. There is nothing better than a pair of nice clean pair of diamond studs. But people still wear them.
You shouldn't categorize people like that. You're saying that only because there's certain people that happen to like music and do music, like musicians and stuff are the only ones allowed to pierce. I look at piercings as ART, yes ART, it shouldn't affect your social status or the way people look at you. I've even heard of this thing that depends on what ear you pierce either left or right one means your straight or Gay, and that's not good. Earrings have nothing to do with sexual orientation, or interests, it's an art form, and look at it as art, not as a way to categorize people and put them in a certain "group", that's a dismissive attitude. I can tell from my experience, because before, when I told people I had a tattoo and got earrings they looked at me like "What the fuck??, you don't look like the "TYPE" of person that gets that stuff", what an immature comment and perspective. It's thanks to the media and stupid people distorting the way people look at each other, so I have to look like a dead beat criminal to get tattoos?, and I have to look like a fucking punk-rocker or whatever to get pierced?, NO. Tattoos/ Earrings are art forms, and it shouldn't be a way to judge other people, people cling on to the silliest things. Anyway, when I can, I'll plan to re-pierce my left ear and probably get my other ear pierced, I really dig the multiple earrings, what makes me afraid is the way people start to look at you when they see you with that stuff on, they either think you're gay or a rebel, people are stupid sometimes.
Well, people will always be ignorant and downright immature when it comes to certain things and they will try their best to put down something they can't comprehend. I can't say I've had any negative comments about the way I look, the opposite in fact. It has to do with the people you're allowing yourself to be surrounded with as well. Whatever the subject there will always be some naysayers and bullshitters at one point.
I think the reason why Aaron said you shouldn't pierce your eyebrows or nose and have gauges in your ears is because unless you're in a band, are an athlete or a tattoo artist, *(whatever profession that allows you to be your free self)*, that sort of stuff does not bode well in the working environment. I myself have two earrings in my right ear lobe and one in the left. In my opinion gauges are the ugliest form of earrings and have no aesthetic value to them whatsoever. Nipple piercings are a big no-no for me. As for as piercings go the only part of my body I would pierce is my upper cartilage(helix). I try not to overdo it because I simply don't too much of it alluring whatsoever. Less is more, subtle but finesse kind of thing.
GonGetGot Yeah you're right. Still people's comments make me feel insecure, it makes me too.. self aware I guess?. I actually dig your style, I want to get at least 2 on one ear lobe and 1 on the other, but at the same time I am fearful... because it might just not fit me.. I don't know. sometimes I wonder , should I do it because I like it? or because it might just look good on me?.. I don't know.. the thought of not looking good in that bothers me.
He's not saying piercings are bad he's saying they're basically permanent at a certain level. He's saying if you want to present yourself well in work then don't stretch your ears 2 inches in diameter.
***** What you said has absolutely nothing to do with what I said. I acknowledge and know everything you just said, but I wasn't approaching this the way you did here. If people want to do this stuff just to look "tough" then so be it. You're completely twisting everything I was saying, and the way you put it you sound as judgmental as the people I was talking about in my initial comment, you're giving way for a narrow-minded perspective. You just told me that people that get tattoos are already insinuated criminals or rough necks, just because these people happen to get tattoos/earrings doesn't make them so. These criminals do this the same way you described it possibly, because they're not satisfied with themselves and they go ahead and do it, it is an ego-driven decision to show the world how tough they happen to be. I was referring to it as art because I was referring to a more tribal, ancient approach to earrings and tattoo art. You happen to think like the media thinks about these people, and what I was speaking out against, therefore, you're dismissed.
***** Good job looking like a fool.
So I'm considering just small black studs on each lobe. Guessing if I need to keep it in for a while it's best to do something low key.
Omg looking at Alpha M’s older video shows the drastic change on how UA-cam has changed in terms of video production.
I'm a sophmore in college and I have had both of my lobes pierced for over a year and a half. I really like them and girls compliment me on them as well. I just got my cartilage pierced on my left ear 3 months ago and I get mix review on that. But i really like my piercings and I would recommend guys getting their ears pierced. It's a great accessory to have.
Can you update this earring video like best ear rings for guys
you helped me with my eyebrows!
he didnt have 'gauges' he had stretched ears. a gauge is the measurement used to measure the thickness of the jewellry
You do realize "stretched ears" are called "gauged ears" and that got shortened to "gauges." I know lots of people with gauges and that is what they all call them. Even the guy that gauged their ears. What are you even talking about?
just because they stretched their ears doesnt mean they know their shit. im simply saying its no the "correct term" but say what you will.
It's "no the correct term?" You realize THAT'S not a correct term right.
not*
Sarah berns Berns BTW Brian Decker calls them gauges as well as lot of people on BMEzine. And those people know their crap!
got both of mine done last night, two diamond studs. small ones too
i like your videos haha make them more frequent please
wow that was a major change on the before and after of Ellis....good job on the tips to his makeover Aaron wish i could follow some tips but i love my eyebrow piercing. Thanks for the vids and keep them coming i have learned to only spray 3 times on cologne.
i got my left ear pierced and people like it
by the way your hair looks awesome, mines looks simliar but i never know how to style it properly
How bout not hire the people who never smile and give bad service and hire those who express themselves by tats and piercings who smile a lot. Unless. Deuces
Woot - just added you on Facebook. Cheers on the videos man. Keep up the great work. William.
I have my left ear pierced. A TON of guys do. my school had about 600 people, and atleast 20-30 guys had earrings. So its still popular. And it actually looks good, I dont get why people say it's bad. I had a small diamond stud to begin with, now I have a different one.
Totally agree man. I'm probably going conservative and going to get my left lope pierced just to put a small black diamond stud in. Too much is ugly IMO, but a little accent to your body looks sexy. Small jewelry, small tattoo, etc...
I have my lip pierced and I like it and I'm very happy with it because i don't think it brings how I look done but I agree that some people go overboard.
are u kidding me the before and after picture of ellis is epic.
good job to ellis
Aaron, thank you for these awesome videos! It's great that you share your knowledge with others. It would be great if you could make video on how to be funny and get social. I think that it's part of imge.
Greetings from Europe! :)
I'm 33 and wear two 12mm or 10mm gold or silver hoops. Lol, now, just having these is considered classic. You're right most guys I see today do more than just the one or two on the ears. It all depends on your lifestyle and personality as to how you pierce. You're also right about jobs...good luck if you over do it, most employers will hire the most clean cut.
Got my left ear pierced in 4th grade, right ear in the 5th, my right ear moved a bit as I grew so I got a second there and 2 in my left cartilage in my mid teens.
So I've decided to get a left hoop piercing next month when I turn 18. Reason why I gotta wait is cause my mom won't let me, but is fine if I get it on my own. I've been wanting one since forever. But I can't do tattoos, gauges, or weird piercings, I want to keep it classy with a simple piercing. I understand the "rock famous musicians" persona you talk about in the video and I believe that too. I don't think a nerd lifestyle should get one. One should look within and see if it fits their lifestyle, persona, or character.
Since childhood, i always wanted to wears plain simple round earrings, which is a reality now. I never wanted to pierce any other body part. But man, wearing those earrings feels like power, immense power. Feels like im the boss and can do anything. Very manly feeling.
MY EYESS!!!! just saw the prince albert...
hey Aaron I just love your videos..and I have been looking for you on Facebook but I can't find you.
@glimonez I'm 34...I got my ear pierced 22 years ago
@yerfer diamonds??? They are small thick silver hoops.
im 21 soon n i got my left ear lobe pierced wen i was 18/19. no stretch just a wee stud in it, it doesnt happen too often as ppl wer i live seem to get dem dne alot. bugt i have had some stunning women commenting on it. im glad i finally got it and i like it n i still have it.
i liked how many times you said stretching holes!
Thats is a NICE!!! Suit!! BRO!!
i was thinking of getting one like that...
Hey can you talk about earrings in an updated video?
nice words of wisdom and yes people are still getting there ears pierced , nice hoops man ive got same ones
I agree keep piercings to the ear lobes. Diamond studs look great! By the way a PA is not to be regretted...
Dermal anchors on the other hand are basically permanent, which is why I'll be getting them on my shoulders. Piercings do get addicting in a way. Also, I do get a lot of compliments from girls and most guys seem to hate the eyebrow piercing but I honestly don't care. I got these piercings for myself, I'm not trying to impress anyone.
you've got the italian accent going on a bit lol love your vids
I really like his piercings that he has right now, I'd love to have something like that.
i'm 24, and i just got my nose pierced, and i'm straight. #theresnoshameatall #getitdudes
Camara Rhodes same
Xavier Rose you got your nose pierced too?
I opted for a septum over a regular nose piercing. Straight or gay should not matter when someone wants to make a visual statement.
Yeah got my nose pierced lol
Xavier Rose hoopor stud? I still have my stud.
I agree totally. If I were hiring I would def notice and take into account tattoos and piercings.
Right on Aaron, totally agree with you, gauges are not very cool especially when you get older and have a regular job.
I got my ears pierced in 4th grade now I'm in 6th grade my dad got his eye brows pierced
Bro I'ma bout to do it at home lmao
Damn dude you came along way from these old videos
@beholderlt I can totaly see that.....but I think I look more like a monchichi
I got two hoops in my left. The 14 guage with the single tension ball.
Omg this video got me laughing 😂 I only wear hoop earnings 😂
Stretching your ear is called gauge the gauge is the size in american sizes im uk we used 'mm' and i hole in your ear is called nothing really in depends on what you put inside of it! Like a tunnel or a plug but not a gauge a gauge is the sizes!
"which makes me a dinosaur" lol dude that cracked me up xD haha. cool vid.
I just pierced mine the studs i put where a little big tho so just waiting till i can change them out lol.
What a legend
I’m a guy, I have a helix and both earlobes. And I’m planning on more earlobe ones, an industrial, and more cartilage ones, also an eyebrow one and maybe more .
I used to have earrings. But they. Got hard to put. In 2016 i pierced my ears with sewing needle and nail it hurt. So in 2017 i wore earrings then stopped because. In 2018. I got nervous. And stopped wearing them so thats my story thanks Aaron
alpha m. very informative and cool video. men could you make a video about how to figure out if use or not beard depending on face shape or wathever hope to hear from u bro shout out frol Panama central America
@alpha m.
i also possess conventional earrings as well. i agree with your opinion regarding inanity and absurdity with contemporary trends in piercings.
So Long ago miss it mr alpha m junior😂😂🤞
I few of us down south get studs but also way to get trends after a million years
i have a 10 gauge buffalo in my left ear, and a 14 black bead in my left. i wear black earrings because i have near-black hair and overall dark features. find earrings like yours to stand out a little too much. but that's just me.
yeap i got my ear pierced. and will be using black round studs soon.
Thanks Aaron, you look well for a guy more than ten years older than me. I had one ear pierced back in 2001. Do girls dig it per se?
@diornotwar123 It is great! All my new friends are incredibly stylish and look fantastic. It is fun to connect!
i have 2 squared 'diamonds' in both of my ears. i cant be without them :) looks good when ur wearing some nice clothes and a nice watch
I personally have 5 piercings that aren't my ears, strategically placed. and just a FYI it's not necessarily the piercing that looks tacky it also depends on the jewelry that you wear, like small balls either black or silver or small spikes are fine but when you get the large spikes or glitery balls or the extremely large odd shaped spikes that gets to be too much.
alot of my friends do the little diamonds in both ears and its actually pretty popular where i live
Can you do a updated video on earings
you made me google "piercing prince albert", out of curiosity, yeah im 17 and got earrings, they still in style
i got both mine done
I'm getting diamond studs for my 17th birthday! haha
I Agree with you to an extent but one good thing about the smaller size gauges like a zero which is the size of a straw you'd get at mc Donald's or a 1/2 inch like mine about a pen's width is that you can get skin colored plugs that sort of hides them, so that's always a possibility if your worried about them holding you back in life
Nice video aaron looking great, im 17 and still thinking if i should get an ear piercing
you have such a great heart (:
i just have straight up studs, like diamonds..not that multiple stuff, or the big gages..what u have is the way to go man!
