Your video was both informative and engaging. I appreciate how you tackled it such a unique way. I've explored a parallel theme on Illicium London. Keep it up!
I just bought a $12 watch from Walmart to match my outfit for a work function and it looked great! It was all black. Faux leather band, some sort of pin steps stripe design in the face, and gun metal time markers and hands. It's cheap, will definitely break with minimal use, and I may never wear it again, but it LOOKS fancy. Lol 😂 it served me well that night.
What about what, alpha? I see a lot of beautiful watches made from exotic hardwoods and personally own one and it's absolutely stunning. What are your thoughts on pairing it with metals and which metals would you associate with what kind of wood?
Got to say those cheaper jewelry brands that you see advertised sub $100 is a good starting point if you're not sure how you like jewelry or if you'll actually wear it.
if you're going to wear stainless steel jewelry I advise everyone to look for it to be 316L because this is the biggest grade for jewelry it's considered implant grade steel and if someone has for example an earring from it he'd have no need to take it off even for MRI scans since it isn't even magnetic
I like your earrings too. I have earrings, and a beard with very long hair and it fits my style, which is actually pretty polished. I did take out the earrings for job interviews, which I kind of now think is stupid, especially considering I wear them at work.
I’ve had at least one ring and one chain on almost nonstop since the 6th grade. Currently I have 3 rings, 2 bracelets and 2 chains that I never take off. Bobby White and Clocks & Colors both have great pieces if you’re in the market
I used to dislike gold plated jewelry but recently i got a few pieces from some decent places and honestly im happy with what i got for what i speant. I was also surprised by the quality of those pieces. I got my gf a gold plated rope chain and she wears it in the shower and swims with it for the last 2 years and its not even fading. Rope chain was around $100.
I see jewelry as investments..... Rocking 18k by Yurman or Hardy. Somedays rocking silver. Just purchased a diamond tennis necklace and pearl necklace for myself. 😎
@@Mr.Rogers91 I just became 30 last month, I dont really wear accessories that much in my 20s except for watches and one of my employee gifted me a Stainless steel necklace with cross pendant and It honestly looks good on me. I think Necklace and watch are good enough accessories or Bracelet and watch just dont combine necklace, bracelet and watch in single outfit.
Only wear gold, silver, platinum, of stainless? *laughs in tungsten wedding band* I wear tungsten as I work with my hands. I switch out to a gray silicone band when working with parts I can't scratch
I always wear multiple rings on both hands. My rule is never have more than 2 fingers in a row, midi rings exempt; though I rarely have two in a row because I don’t like them banging against each and often it’s too bulky and uncomfortable. You can get away with 3 in a row if one’s a thumb ring, or maybe a wedding ring idk I haven’t tried it’ll bc I’m not married, but you better hope that wedding ring still stands out or your wife might get mad 😂. Midi rings are also great because they allow you to wear more rings without looking clustered, so you can wear one ring that goes all the way down and then on the next finger wear a midi ring (which is why they were an exception earlier). I also like to stack rings, and this also works great for those who want only to wear one finger on each hand. Don’t stack on more than two fingers per hand, but as long as they compliment each other and fit on your finger, stack as many as you want on one finger, but ideally you don’t want more than one ring with a protruding stone or signet ring per finger, except midi rings again. Also don’t have more than one large ring on each hand. My typical look is two fingers each with rings that go all the way down (often stacked) and one midi ring each on another finger on both hands, and then occasionally a second midi ring or a thumb ring. I actually like to mix up my metals, especially if they’re close together, because when you have that many rings and only one metal color it can become a little dull. If you do mix metals, absolutely do not put all of one metal color on one hand and all of another on another (unless you have only one ring on one or both hands) because that’s just weird. I also like to have both hands different: if there is a ring on one finger on one hand (that goes all the way down), that same finger on the other hand will either be bare or have a midi ring. Lastly, balance is key. Don’t have too many on one hand and then barely on another, or too much stacking on one hand and no stacking on another (though in terms of balance a large ring can count as a few rings stacked). Ideally you don’t want one hand with more than one less bare finger than the other, like 3 on one and 2 on another. Those are just my tips but if it’s too hard for you or you just don’t think you can pull it off, you can’t go wrong with Aaron’s advice of one per hand. Btw, my favorite finger for a ring is an index finger ring (usually a bold one) because everyone sees it when you point at stuff
If it has a story to it, like maybe it was a gift, it doesn’t matter if it’s cheap or even fake, wear it with pride and tell the story when someone compliments you on it
Kinda hard to take advice from a guy who always pushes the sponsor stuff, in his head he could be thinking this looks like shit but since his getting a check he will tell you it’s looking fly not to mention almost half the video was about the sponser what a joke probably why he flopped on shark tank
Wouldn't really bother with jewelry. The line between just enough and too much is razor thin and most men's jewelry is pretty flippin' dull design wise. Put the money into a watch or having clothes fitted specifically to you.
I wear more than one ring on each hand. I don't wear rings on all my fingers, but I do wear a few rings and they're all stainless. I want to upgrade to sterling silver, but to be honest, I haven't found any that I like. I don't believe you have to match your metals. I think that's more of a personal preference.
Titanium for body jewelry. You don’t need to be walking down the hospital hallway when somebody starts the MRI and your 10 gauge frenum ladder/ nipple ring decides to join the fun at the speed of sound. Also with pure titanium you won’t get any reactivity issues that are very possible with low quality stainless steel. And it weighs half as much as
