I'm still grieving the loss of my beautiful, healthy sister to Covid. I could not visit her in hospital and I kept to all the rules. Boris, Rishi and the others will never know how hard that was, how just wanting to hold her hand and tell her I love her, they will never understand because their hearts are shallow and their souls are cold. While we broke our hearts, they broke the law. I will never forget and never forgive them for their contempt. They will never understand the anger that families who also lost loved ones, feel. I want to see justice, I want to see the political downfall of the lot of them.

Bodger is a very interesting case study for narcissism. Even for those of us who aren't very informed about the intricacies of Narcissistic personalities. It was clear that he wanted to discredit the committee's legitimacy / competence to investigate whether he misled the HOC. He thought that erudite language and bluster would work in accomplishing that, because that's what has always worked for him.
When it didn't work, he started to get angry. Towards the end, when even members of his own party had the "Audacity" to hold up his own statements and submitted evidence as proof that he was just blustering, he got mad. He can't stand losing, and he can't stand people challenging him.
All the bereaved families of covid victims deserve nothing less than to see that man stripped of the privilege of being an MP, and hopefully a prison sentence to boot.

I've been in a relationship with a narcissist. She almost drove me to suicide, stole from me, and everyone thinks she's the victim. Narcissists survive on the fact that no one would do that. No one would be so blatant! So what they did can't have happened. No one would lie like that.
So when the narc does so, no one believes it. Everyone assumes that others have shame, that they feel guilt. So if you don't feel shame, don't feel guilt, you can get away with anything.
No one believes what I say. No one believes I have reasons for staying away from the person. They think I'm being petty. What it's like is being in an ocean, in a storm, on your own. Speaking as a member of the neuro-diverse community...for want of a better phrase...I think another interesting study would be to look at the characteristics of people in the neurotypical population that support, and often vote for, the systems that allow these people to achieve the positions they hold.
It's not just that there's data (going back many years) to demonstrate the prevalence of such people in positions of wealth and power, or that our social and economic systems require some degree of that behaviour for 'success'...it's that we actively reward the behaviour of people who have no business being anywhere near wealth and power by giving them wealth and power. And the only reasons that people who support this can give are based on fantasy and fairy-tales and a wilful refusal to look at the world as it is.
To me, that suggests there is a significant number...in terms of the electorate...of people who have a particular sort of mental disorder that is as yet 'undiscovered'. But of course, being someone with a 'disorder' myself, it's easy for people to dismiss my views.

When you find yourself trying to understand the psychology of people who would support someone as amoral as Boris, your mind would be lost in their method less madness.

Reminds of that woman who said she supported him (after admitting he was a liar) because it makes him "human". Some people are so desperate to "stick it to the system" in British politics where admittedly most politics have been fake and very surface, that they'll vote for him over anyone more competent. It's really weird to see.

Personally, I think "narcissistic" is not the most accurate word to describe Boris Johnson's character. I offer a more accurate description in the word "sociopath".
Definition: "Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is a mental health condition in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others".
    I rest my case.
The same can be said for Suella Braverman and Jacob Rees-Mogg, in my opinion, and all those that partied during the covid restrictions.

I agree, I was married to a sociopath, worst 19 years of my life. Boris is definitely one. The bumbling idiot facade cuts no ice with me.

I think it is helpful to think of narcissists as devoted adherents of their own personal 'religions' which are focused on themselves. In other words, severe and inflexible narcissists are engaged in total self-worship, and those who fall for their psychologically-dominant act of moral and intellectual authority, and who worship, and/or enable them, are what the medical profession describe as, co-narcissists.

Boris is just like Trump....he used to phone up the National Enquirer in the 80's...pretending to be someone else and telling them about Trump having affairs with multiple women...they both get off on this kind of thing.....maybe they think it makes them appear as great lovers like Casanova or Lothario...Boris loves a bit of Shakespeare.

Goebbelsesque, lie until it becomes the truth. The guy is a moral vacuum, his whole life . Johnson has never changed but he has been allowed to get to where he is and it's those who are really the villains couldn't have gotten anywhere without those who just didn't care as long as they could hang onto his coattails.

. After 60 mins or more of this variation..- well I always talk to you in my head so I must have thought I told you..
They watch your jaw drop open as you try to get your head around that... as it's been said quite a few times.... numerous hundreds actually.
.... your brain is doing summersaults. He's a sentimental chappie... no he is not.... by the thousandth time he must realise this takes on a nasty theme... but look at the bewilderment and hurt in his eyes. Perhaps we need to work on this he doesn't understand... by then he has jumped to round three and your jaw drops again...
