Just please get him out of the political sphere. I'd be happy with that. I am worried about my and everyone's mental health having to waken up everyday to the psychodrama that is the brute's life. It is an act of national cruelty that we have him and his voice, image and greedy dealings in our lives. This could apply to the entire tory party of course and I can only hope that, when the time comes, we really do everything we can as a country to rid ourselves of this generation of divisive, selfish and inhuman right wing politicians.

Dear Sir, I empathise with you, and I share your outrage and there is no way that one can condone with Johnson, but there are people who do. That makes the situation even more excruciating. One can only say that the existence of these people is a menace and there ar more offensive because they know of the suffering, but it is not as important as the progress of their conspiracy. The potential threat to all of us is not as trivial as the media and his entourage would pretend.

Well said. That needs to be said to young people especially. It is their future, and if they want a future they have to exert themselves and not lapse into an easy, indolent and facetious cynicism such as characterises so much of the 'social media' I am of the opinion that instead of candidates sending out their manifesto we should stipulate our conditions for our vote. I will not vote for any candidate that does not pledge to make a return to the EU a priority, and if that means a Green, an independent, a rational Conservative, a Liberal or Labour or an independent so be it. If I am asked by a pollster who has the impudence to ask how I shall vote I 'do not know'. Nothing will worry the political establishment than a high 'Don't know' and I advise every one to keep pollster and the right wing media in the dark@@samhartford8677

When asked where those mitigations were relating to the event where he is shown raising a glass, he replied “In the adjacent room.” without even a hint of irony as though having mitigations somewhere else in the building was abiding by the rules and guidance.
To my mind this validates that he must have known at the time that the event was not following the guidance because he knew no mitigations had been implemented in that room.

The Entire lockdown process was pointless, but I bet you were a screeching harpy to anyone who defied them right? I bet you're happy to vote for the next group of corrupt evil civil servants who want to destroy your freedoms you spinless worm.

Not even a note. What normally happens is that the leaver gets a card. If rules prohibit it, no warm words from the manager, just the card and perhaps a small parting gift.

You can't 'lie by accident' lying by definition requires you to be deliberate.

It is very frightening. When you lie you manipulate the situation.

Will all the so called advisors who advised him no rules were broken be asked to testify to justify their incorrect advice. Are they still in post?

The Russian doll analogy: I found that out when I was writing a book as things were happening. You either end up with a book that is over a thousand pages long or you cut out so much.
My experience was with regard to chemical company that had been deliberately poisoning the local environment with a chemical that was 'Capable of causing cancer and/or heritable genetic damage.' Once I had eventually found out what was going on, I wrote to the investigations department of the DTI and the President of the board of trade who sent it off to the Health and Safety Executive who went in and shut it down.
They even said that I shouldn't even think about writing a book about it as they would just stop it so I went the same way as Spy Catcher and went through Amazon and with it published internationally, it couldn't be banned. James F Linden - Let the Devil Wear Black.
I don't know how thick the book on Johnson will be.

    I wasn't told!
    I didn't know!
    Nobody advised me!
    I wasn't there!
    I was just following orders!
Mr Johnson seems to use the same excuses as war criminals throughout the ages.
