Interviewer: 'Mr Johnson, out of all the lies you've ever told, which one is your favourite?'
Johnson: 'I've never told any lies.'

LOL!!
Put Johnson in jail.
Just please get him out of the political sphere. I'd be happy with that. I am worried about my and everyone's mental health having to waken up everyday to the psychodrama that is the brute's life. It is an act of national cruelty that we have him and his voice, image and greedy dealings in our lives. This could apply to the entire tory party of course and I can only hope that, when the time comes, we really do everything we can as a country to rid ourselves of this generation of divisive, selfish and inhuman right wing politicians.

I'm ashamed of this country .I say this as a veteran .
Because of this government I spent 14 hours in A&E with my wife waiting for a scan .I can honestly say that I have never felt or seen such despair or missery in one place in my life . Ashamed doesn't come near to it .
Dear Sir, I empathise with you, and I share your outrage and there is no way that one can condone with Johnson, but there are people who do. That makes the situation even more excruciating. One can only say that the existence of these people is a menace and there ar more offensive because they know of the suffering, but it is not as important as the progress of their conspiracy. The potential threat to all of us is not as trivial as the media and his entourage would pretend.
I feel for you. As an EU citizen who left the UK in 2010, I've been told that things have gotten so much worse. My suggestion: make sure you vote and have an accepted form of ID to fulfill the new voter ID rules.
Well said. That needs to be said to young people especially. It is their future, and if they want a future they have to exert themselves and not lapse into an easy, indolent and facetious cynicism such as characterises so much of the 'social media' I am of the opinion that instead of candidates sending out their manifesto we should stipulate our conditions for our vote. I will not vote for any candidate that does not pledge to make a return to the EU a priority, and if that means a Green, an independent, a rational Conservative, a Liberal or Labour or an independent so be it. If I am asked by a pollster who has the impudence to ask how I shall vote I 'do not know'. Nothing will worry the political establishment than a high 'Don't know' and I advise every one to keep pollster and the right wing media in the dark@@samhartford8677

@MarkyBoy you wont get many people who listen to this guy say that.
I do not subscribe to most of the view of Penny Mordaunt but she emerged with dignity and honour which is a refreshing change from most of her party. Her monitory remarks about the Privileges Committee were right and have been grossly abused by the conduct of Rees Mogg and Nadine Dories, they were a disgrace but in the hue and cry against Mega Tories it essential to render justice to the exception. Perhaps the Tories in their perfervid hysteria have missed the change of electing a leader instead of a rascal

Even though there were many others in that room who were also pencilled in for the vote. Boris is a self-serving narcissistic ignoramus. He does not belong in a modern-day parliamentarian's chair. The most hilarious moment in Johnson’s testimony was probably when he said social distancing of 1 metre was allowed with mitigations.
When asked where those mitigations were relating to the event where he is shown raising a glass, he replied “In the adjacent room.” without even a hint of irony as though having mitigations somewhere else in the building was abiding by the rules and guidance.
To my mind this validates that he must have known at the time that the event was not following the guidance because he knew no mitigations had been implemented in that room.
Johnson makes my skin crawl and always has done. I must be different from so many of my fellow countrymen and women. Luckily, there are probably more people like me than the media suggest.
