I have a command hook next to the bed that I hang my glasses from at night. Easy access and the cat doesn't knock them off the table.
Great idea!
😺👓
THAT is a GREAT idea!!!!!
Awesome idea! I had not thought of that!
Genius!
Spandex and Command Strips were two of the greatest inventions of the 20th Century! :)
Yep, love them, I always have some handy, all sizes and weight limits. I even have a few in my purse, you can even use on a blouse that shows too much.
It's amazing how much better a product works when you read the directions, right? 😄
:) Is that like the myth that there is a serving size for Ice Cream on the package??? I would not know if there is..... it's always carton and spoon for me. LOL
@@TheCraftyOrganizer LOL I have never eaten ice cream that way. I've seen it done in movies, but that's it.
I have quite often said to my hubby, if all else fails, read the instructions. Being OCD, I have a strong need to read them first.
@@OrganizeCreateDecorate, my hubby is the one that says that to me!
A lot of people blame products but never took the time to read the instructions and then go online and give bad reviews.
Right?😂 lolol
It never occurred to me to paint them. Great info. Thanks!
Glad to help
Hello Norrine!! I just love your videos!! Not only informational, but your demeanor is so soothing!! Thank you!!
You are so welcome!
I used the larger Command hooks to hold a drape rod to hang my drapes and it worked great! I've had my drapes up for 5 years on those hooks without incident.
That is amazing! I've had the same Command hook holding my bathrobe for 8 years!
oh my gosh , me too. i live in an apartment dont want to put too many holes in the wall
Don’t throw out the used Dollar Tree hooks, just buy Command replacement strips.
GENIUS!!!
That’s a wonderful idea
Thrifty idea!!
Wow, that really works? Awesome Patricia.
They're also great for hot gluing to things to make displays for jewelry and stuff. Made a craft fair display using dollar store foam and some hooks and it worked out nicely.
I never thought about using command strips inside of the cabinets - you have some really great ideas
Thanks!
I use command strips ALL over the house....my husband works for 3M Canada 🇨🇦 and gets goody boxes occasionally. I hang Christmas Cards on my entrance wall with the little clear reusable squares, hang Christmas decorations with the small and/or medium clear hooks. All of the pictures, paintings and light decorative pieces are mounted with Command strips. I have several pieces of Belly Dance jewelry (coin belts, wrist and ankle bangles, dangling earrings, head pieces & scarves) which gets tangled so I use the small clear hooks to hang them decoratively between classes. I have a full length mirror attached to the back of my bedroom door....I used 8 of the long velcro sets to hold the weight. That sucker has been there for 12 years and doesn't budge even when the wind catches and slams the door. Great products!
LUCKY!!!! They are pretty amazing!
Wow, I never thought of using them on the mirror, I've got one that kind of clangs once in a while when the door swings think I'll give your idea a try.
I once emailed 3M to see if a certain product was available to buy in my country. It wasn't, but they sent me a free sample of it for me try out plus a box of goodies for me to use and review. It wasn't like I was on social media or anything - the reviewing involved me filling out a questionnaire that was included in the box of goodies and posting it back to them!
Holding the stand mixer attachments and hanging the little baskets inside the cupboards! Thank you!
Love command strips. Took the Velcro style ones and put a power strip on my wall next to the table where I need the power. Now I can get multiple items plugged in without having it on the floor and having to bend over to plug and unplug.
Also put the small picture hangers on the side of my refrigerator to hold my frequently used kitchen utensils.
Thanks for letting us know how to remove when the adhesive strip breaks.
3m also makes a wonderful command strip soap dish for your shower.
Great tip, I think I will have to write some of these down!
Great ideas, Patricia!!!
Thank you for the idea using them for the ladder... ihad to go buy 2 of them and it wrked Perfect for me too!!!
THANK YOU!!!
Glad I could help!

I love the dental floss trick. Hubby bought permanent cable tabs he uses for work. I used the dental floss to separate the plastic from the sticky pad and then scraped off the sticky pad with that metal thing you use for smoothing polyfiller. Took hours as he had one every inch along the wall. He is now BANNED from sticky anything lol. Dental floss works great for crafting too. I use it for book binding and to take of foam pads when I change my mind 😊
Oh wow! I never thought of it for crafting!!! It's strong, inexpensive.... and you can choose the flavor! ;)
I use the cord bundlers to hang garland over my archway at Christmas. I also used 2 to display a hockey stick on the wall.
It’s amazing how many people have problems with products because they simply don’t read the directions. It clearly says on the command hooks to clean the surface with alcohol and to wait for it to set before using it. I’ve had no problems with them because I read and followed the instructions. I have the broom holder in my camper to hold my broom out of the way. It stays on the wall even when we’re traveling with no problem. I hang my measuring cups inside my cabinet doors with them. We hang Christmas decorations from our shutters with them. I’m a big fan of command products.
Its nice to "shout out" how perfect you are!
@@maureenross579 lady I don’t know what your problem is. I was simply replying to a posting. I wasn’t bragging or trying to say I’m perfect. But a lot of people don’t have good results because they don’t read directions. If I offended you I’m sorry, but if I offended you by my simple comment maybe you should look in the mirror. You have a blessed day.
@@margueritepeaden3445 I thought maybe they were making a joke about the cleaning product "shout out" but now I think they just don't read directions on things and are upset. I never use command hooks properly I'm so impatient but I don't then wonder why it fell off the wall. More surprised about the ones that have stuck so well when I didn't clean it. Love command products.
When I saw this video come up on my notifications I showed my husband. He said "Yep, that's you!" I have so many things up in my house with Command hooks! I have not thought about some of these things you mentioned and the ladder idea is genius!!!!
Thank you!!!! That one was one of my 'woohooo' moments! LOL
I Like You! Great great voice! I have the Worst headache and e had t9 move on fast from the last 5 kids on this topic! Your pleasant helpful delightful vibe was a huuuge relief!!!
Oh wow! So glad it was a relief 💐 Have a great day!
Thank you for the great tips. I've got 2 more ideas for command strips. One I saw online, but I can't remember where to give credit, use the hooks with cafe curtain rods on the inside of a kitchen cabinet to hold pot lids. The 2nd idea I adapted from the first. I used the hooks and cafe rods to hold the curtains on my French doors. I put the hooks on the bottom rod sideways to hold the curtains down. No holes and no nails! They've been up for months and look great.
I have my French door curtains hung with dollar store “command” hooks too!
SMART!
Love the stepstool holder idea
I still use that trick!
I found some command strips that come with a bin for the bathroom. I use it for my craft supplies in my craft room.
I have one of those collapsible stepstools that has hole that serves as a handle when folded. I got one of those extra wide Command hooks and stuck it on the side of my portable dishwasher. The stepstool fits perfectly using the handle to hang on the hook.
I used six Command hooks, painted to match my shower tile. I installed them in a row and we hang our wet wash clothes on them until they dry.
I love that!!!! Custom look, at an affordable price! :D
Thanks for the tip of using dental floss when the pull strip breaks!
I’ve been using the trash one for a few years and I love it 💕
It is such a great idea!!!!!
Thanks for all this information and tips on using command hooks. God bless
Glad it was helpful!
Say, an alternative for the Scrabble letter holders: Home Depot has a lumber section. In it, there is a perfect selection of similar options. Cut to size, sand, & paint. You can install hooks etc. & customize the size. You offered great ideas!
Great tip!!
LOVE Command strips! I have one on a table leg holding a power strip up so cords aren't on floor, one on side of cabinet in craft room for cricut mats, strips behind smaller shelves to hold my cricut cuties, a few in the bathroom for towels, did the wall Christmas tree last year (2019) and one did pop off and take some drywall with it. Use them all the time with having had 3 kids in dorm rooms! 3M really should pay you for this!
I've had it take a chunk out once.... my little one was much younger and pulled (hung) the towel that was on a hook.... I literally glued the chunk back in and puttied over it. Fixed! LOL And, I agree!!! I'd LOVE 3M to work with me! :)
Hi loved this video. I have never thought of the use of these hooks for so many things. Like the extra shelf! Thank you. You just made my life better 🌺
Thanks so much! 😊
Great for RV's too. I lived in mine for 2 years and hung up lots of things with them. Loved them in the kitchen. I am in an apartment and again have them in the kitchen for utensils around the stove, in the bathroom on my mirror to hang my brush and hair cutting shears, hairdryer etc. to hang keys so I can grab heading out the door.
That is awesome!
I love these ideas!! Thanks!
Fabulous ideas here!! Your tension rod tricks have been life-changing for me
So glad!
I use two of the larger hooks inside my under skink cabinet in my bathroom to hang my blow dryer and straightner.
Such a beautiful smart lady! Thanks
Wow, thank you!💜
I’m so glad I found you. I’m redoing my craft room and love all your ideas help
Consider me your personal cheerleader and giver of suggestions! 💜
I love the Velcro command strips. I use them to hang my pictures.
I'm going to have to rewatch this! The first one I am using is to corral cords.
Thanks so much. Did not know about the cure time.
My first time on your sight and I am so impressed and encouraged by what you share. Thanks so much.
Hi, Michelle! I am so happy to meet you and happy to have you here with me!
Several of these ideas would really work for me!
Fantastic video! You should be sponsored omg I thought this was professionally produced.
Maybe one day!
As many times as I've thought about command hooks, I've never known they need to set and cure before hanging something on them. That's probably something I should've read. lol
If it's a heavier item - it makes the world of difference! Thanks for watching!
I use Command hooks in my front big window to string my xmas lights in the shape of a tree, hang my favorite decorations. We didn't have room for a xmas tree in our living room with family so I tried this. People have told me they look for it every xmas.
I love that idea!!!!!! And that it makes others smile. Bonus!
I love this idea. Especially the cords hanging down. Thank you so much
What clever ideas will have to keep those things in mind. Please Stay Safe,Happy and Healthy. Have A Wonderful Day
We use them all the time. Love them. Make sure to check their weight limit on the pkg.
Oh yeah, I use them behind my bathroom door for extra towels, love them , thanks Norine ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
You are so welcome
Never thought of spray painting them. Great idea 👍
I used velcro strips on my kitchen chair cusions they work great!
The bundlers are fantastic! I use it along with a regular hook to hang up the hair dryer in my linen closet.
Smart idea!!!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer thank you! I didn’t want the cord dangling so the bundler is perfect. I use a binder clip to hang up my rubber cleaning gloves on a command hook. I use the tiny hooks on the inside of my cabinets to keep the Dollar Tree wire dish shelves from moving around. I wish I could post pics!! I’m definitely going to use a bundler on my small appliances. I love that idea!
Great ideas 💡 👌 love it.
Noreen OMG, what great ideas for the command strips. Thanks so much
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much for sharing I have never used Command hooks I wasn't sure that they were reliable you have given me lots of great ideas and I feel comfortable and buying them and using them thanks for sharing have a great day God bless
Glad I could help!
Thank You for your video. I am so excited to get some or these hooks. They have one with velcro, now, that you can put on any of your items with cords on them. It fastens onto the item and when you're ready you can wrap your cords up and the velcro will keep it in place. 😊
I’ve not seen those!! Let me know what you think!! 🥰
Fabulous ideas, Norrine. And thank you for explaining how to remove the strips. Great video. Thank you from England. 👍😃
Thank you for this video. I didn’t even know they made a broom handle holder. I like all of the tips you shared. I put tile underneath the cabinets. A backsplash I guess you could say. It turned out so nice. Then I realized I didn’t want to drill a hole to hang a pretty decorative plate, that I use on special occasions. I used a command hook and followed the directions. It fell down after a couple of months. Luckily my plate didn’t break. I am sure it didn’t stay up, because of humidity from cooking. I was at the hardware store and noticed a clear command hook for damp areas like bathrooms. I thought I would try again, I left it up for a full 24 hours and hung my plate. That was about 3 years ago. It worked great! They now have them in many different styles. We are going to remodel a small bathroom and I plan on using them for towels. Plus I plan on using a few of your tips and even more tips in the comments . Thanks again!
I'm so glad your plate didn't break!!!!!
Using command hooks for self healing mat and brother scan n cut mat.
I came across this fantastic idea & want to share it with you and your subscribers. I use Command Hooks on the inside of my closet door to hang my purses. I even had one door for my Coach bags and the other for my Vera Bradley purses. I use to be a shoe hog nor a purse hog. It was pretty bad when you can't find your red purse, so now you have one hook for that favorite bag and you know exactly where it is.
And just one more thing...To keep all the packages of Command hooks in one place, I have a 7X9 inch plastic box (with a slit lid) Got it from Dollar Tree and I put all the hooks and hanging stripes in one of those plastic boxes. Keeps everything in one place and you can see what's in there.
Awesome tips 👏👏👏 TFS 🤩🥰🤗
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the broom handle holder. Like you, I have to think of earthquake safety.
It's one of my favorite ideas. :)
👍👍You know I gotta try some of these ideas I have not seen before!🤗
I have always use them, it’s a great product. I especially like it because I come up with a way to hang something and don’t have to fully commit to
It, if I use a nail that’s another story. I like it high up in the closet I have a gloves small canvas bag and knit hats in another makes for easy reach.
Will the weather being cool and hot I don’t have to store it in another room , it right where we can all be t to it.
Super ideas!
Great ideas... Thanks
Great tips once again. Your Fantastic!!!
Thanks, Rhonda!
I install two hooks mounted sideways on the inside wall of my cabinet about 8-10 inches apart. I stretch rubber bands between the two hooks and tuck plastic container covers behind the rubber bands. Keeps them from falling all over the cabinet. You’re welcome.
I use command strips to keep my remotes organized. Each remote had a command strip on the back of the remote and on the back of whatever the remote is for. I don't have kids so immediately after I'm done watching TV or a fan, whatever, I immediately put the remote back!
I have a very small closet and I use Command hooks to hang my camisoles so they are always handy for me to grab and it saves drawer or hanger space.
I use Command strips in a few different ways. I hang baskets for towels in my camper bathroom. I use them to hang puffs & brushes in the shower, hang keys & pictures. I have noticed a difference in the Command & the cheap brand.
I have a command hook on my window and the pull strip broke so now I know how to get it off! Thank you for that! Lots of great ideas in this video that I would never have thought of!
I also use them on my garbage cans to hold the liners too. Love the idea of using them to hold up a wire rack to make a shelf. And the scrabble tile racks would be cute if they were turned upside down as well. Would look like little corbeled shelves. I also use command hooks on my entry doors to hold wreaths. I put the hook on the INSIDE of my door, upside down. Then make sure the wreath's hanger is long enough to go over the top of the door and hook onto the command hook. Especially handy if you live in windy locations.
Smart idea for the door wreath!!!!
I really enjoyed the one for the high chair. We will be having a new baby in our family this July. 😊
Lots of great ideas. Great channel!
Hello my friend. I watched this before, but, 9nfe again, I’m going thru my house to re-org. Needed a refresher course.
I love that! Thank you for the repeated support
I love these ideas! I never thought of lots of these! 😊❤️
I use them for hanging Xmas decorations on the ceiling and leave them up for other celebrations throughout the year.
Yes!!!!
I have a "Merry Christmas" bunting, which I have clear hooks up for. They stay up all year, but the bunting only goes up at Christmas. Because they're so small though, I don't see them.
Great ideas, Norrine! Thanks, especially, for explaining how the hooks work correctly. Tfs from Cheryl in AZ.
Some lovely ideas. Tks for sharing9
You are so welcome!
I just got an mazon order of command hook. I put 2 on the Inside of an entryway closet door to hold my purse when I come in. I also have put them inside several cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen to hold baskets for my hair dryer, curling iron, and in the kitchen all those various types of plastic wrap and aluminum foil etc. to hold my purse, I am using two of the hooks that are rated for 7.5 pounds. Not sure how it’s going to work. I am letting it cure for 24 hours.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!
This was a great I would have never thought of some of these ideas, an eye-opener, Thank you
You are so welcome!
Great ideas Norrine!! Fantastic!! Things I’ve never thought of.
Love these ideas. Thanks. Take care. Hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
You are so welcome!
Thank you for the dental floss idea. I needed that. The garbage can! Another amazing idea. I try taping it up. Only works once. I will do your idea.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for new ideas. You are right about the ft hooks. Don't stick.
oh my...I have added command cord holders to the list for my next shopping trip! Fabulous idea to use it for cords on appliances
Thanks for sharing! I used velcro strips for the long vacuum attachment pieces that were too big for a box. I use them in the corner of my closet where I store my vacuum.
So smart!!!!!!!
All such great ideas!
Thanks so much!
I had an issue with my long cricuit but it was probably because it was wood that was not totally smooth. I like your information on the different uses and different types.
Thanks for watching!
I'm going to try the wall christmas tree this year when the holidays come around. What a cute idea!
Brilliant!
Thank you, Betty!
Love the cord holder idea!!
Great ideas 💡 Thank you!!
I use them on the garage can, and plumber came saw that. bathroom. He said awesome ideas🤣
That is awesome!
Great video! Its so helpful! Thanks Noreen
Dollar Tree does have the broom holder ones now, haven't tried them though
Great idea. Loved the hooks for cords!
Brilliant👍🏻
I use the small Command hook outside of my shower for my hair towel.
I love that I'm not the only one with a designated hair towel! My husband says I'm nuts!!!! 🤣
Spparkie7288, I have curly hair that has a tendency to frizz, so I have the special microfiber hair towel and it has a loop on it that's great for hanging it on the Command hook.
OMG! I love all these ideas. I love the one for appliance cords. Thank you!
Excellent I got some new ideas using the command strips.
Tfs your tips ! I LOVE using command strips!
Great and genius ideas! Blessed and safe days!
