In case of war, PAF can provide its fighter pilot instructors to Azerbaijan Air Force. These well-trained pilots who have logged thousands of hours on this jet can wipe out the Armenian Air Force.

JF-17 saw action in bombing targets in IIOJK, Iran and Afghanistan. While Tejas haven’t left bunker, no one will take Tejas serious unless it proves itself against opponents (not in exercises or airshows)
Very recently, Tejas missed targeting aerial targets in an exercise, so Tejas has a long journey ahead before world could take it serious.
That was f16 who missed all the Targets ,they didn't even dared to cross the border they just launch the missile from other side

China is famous for using cheap quality unlike USA or Russia that is why they are able to make a jet cheaper with good specifications.. otherwise are Americans.and Russian mad to spend way more money in their f16s and su35 etc .
I don't think you understand. PAC manufactures about 60% of the jet. We source our own components how ever we choose to do. The rest is made by CAC in China and delivered via planes to Pakistan. And it seems as time is going by PAC is making more of the plane in Pakistan. As far as the testing and prototype go, PAC engineers and pilots have worked on this from the early days, even in the design phase, it was after all PAF that requested PAC to approach CAC to build our plane. Your comments give the impression that somehow Pakistanis are seeking Indian validation. We really don't care if you give us credit or give China credit. For us the important thing is that we designed the jet for our needs with China, and used every tool available to us to make the project complete in a timely manner. Today we have a jet that we can make as many of or as little of as we like. We can make modifications to it, add what ever weapon we like, without any fear of sanctions. JF-17 has been in service for more than a decade now, and has already seen combat, including having bombed the PT grounds of your brigade HQ. And today, it's nice that the plane we designed, is wanted by other nations in the world. 1.6 billion dollars is nice little bonus. @@nidhikumar2703

Facts are facts. India started LCA in 1983 with huge ambitions on paper and fanfare but as of 2024, we are yet to induct them in fighter squadrons even with foreign engines ( those inducted till date are in training squadrons). Turkey started KAAN 5th gen fighter project in 2016 and have a prototype flying in 2024 ( this from a nation with no experience in building fighters). Pakistan took the smart and practical way out by collaborating with China instead of having grandiose plans and have achieved breakthrough in exports repeatedly and will earn profits from its export irrespective of the fact that they will share it with China.We have grandiose plans but are not capable of implementing them because our entire ecosystem is under control of govt institutions with pitfalls at every corner. Giving excuses is such a waste of time.

Pakistan doesn't profit much from it. They make money from the production. JF-17 deal is nothing but Su-30mki deal with export license. The majority profit is chinese. If China decides to give shift manufacture with ToT to the client nation. Pakistan will make ghanta from the deal😅

We are struggling to properly induct LCA Tejas in our own Airforce and our own people are heavily criticizing Tejas at the drop of a hat. So, Armenia wont take the risk. It will prefer used F16 or Mirage from other countries.

In case of a country your primary spending objective is welfare schemes and in case of Armenia, it has to partially cut funding (example healthcare/education) and use that money on emergency defense purchase.

Tejas is Way too expensive than other options in the market ! The fighter alone costs around 40 million per aircraft, If Weapons package is included, Price then goes upto 47-50 million per plane . Plus india would also sign some sort of Maintenance package along with it and Components would become more costly for the buyer as We don't have a good and fast manufacturing setup dedicated to tejas spare parts.
On the other hand JF-17 is almost half the price , and have a decent spare parts supplier as China .
Anyone wanting little more from the aircraft would simply go for F-16 . Which is a better aircraft than that and would only cost couple more millions than Tejas.
Being honest here , Tejas is only slightly better than JF-17 . Especially the block 3 version. Most of the weapons we advertise with tejas are themselves under development, And those in use are still to be integrated with the aircraft .
So India is not making a good selling point here . Pricing is poor , Integration of advertised weapons is slow , And we have nothing to show for When it comes for Spare parts manufacturing and Maintenance.
Recent Jane's defence report concluded that JG17 thunder block 3 is easily on par with F16, primarily due to AESA radar BVR capabilities PL15 and Faaz missiles former has longer range also due to a lot of adaptations like racks and modifications the era of dogfights is long gone its now see first strike first JF17 is battle tested and respected don't see how even of on paper tejas has interesting weapons you cannot say its better than JF17 moreover PAF can continue to make modifications and upgrades woth both turks and chinese soon there will be JG17 block 4, PAF with its restraints manages to do substantially more than indian airforce
