I like those carolina points, I won a give away from indian trace a few months ago. He sent a pretty wide variety of real nice artifacts. Congrats on your finds my friend.
Nice finds my friend . I've not been able to do any collecting this past Summer and Fall . Back in June I had a bad staph infection in my knee , no clue where it came from . Had to have surgery to get it fixed . Then about 4 weeks ago I had a high fever and had to rush to the E.R. . I had a blood infection or sepsis . It was caused by a kidney stone I have been carrying for years . It collected bacteria and caused a urinary tract infection which got into my blood . I about kicked the bucket in the E.R. I did what is called rigoring which is going into an uncontrolled shivering from a high fever . It caused me to not be able to breath . I didn't realize what was happening at the time . Later I found out that if I had been at home I could have died . I had had several of those rigoring attacks but the weren't as severe as the one I had in the hospital . But tomorrow we're going to hit a good plowed field .
Hi Ridge Raider, i love your channel. My name is Sawyer O'Neal (I am using my wife's account) I am a Native of Transylvania/ Jackson county NC. I am an artifact hunter of 20 years. I have found a lot of nice artifacts at Wolf Lake when it is drained. The only problem is that it's been over 10 years since its been drained. I am currently searching for some good spots to hunt.
Hi Sawyer... I have never looked in either of those two countries.... do you ever find any Chert? Best of luck on your search! And thanks again for the comment 👍
@@ridgeraider1 Yes, I've found some large chunks of the grey chert all over different areas. I found 2 really nice Woodland triangle points made of Dover Chert, and 1 really nice Palmer Point made of what i call hill and valley chert. I found the tip of what i believe would've been a nice pine tree point made of grey chert, hopefully I'll find the rest.
@@ridgeraider1 I've never heard of one being found anywhere close to my area, how about you? I would be ecstatic if i found one. My grandfather got me into when I was 9
Man I hate I'm 3 months late on this but go back at about the 3 min. Into the video when you were looking down at your feet and tell me if that is a point or blade of some kind? Anyway thanks for the video enjoyed it.
