History Hound Detecting thanks buddy just like you said one of or all of those other pieces are only as far as an angry man could throw them... hope you’re doing well and finding👍
Good job. Nice to see artifacts from this region. I started collecting in Northeast GA mountains and am familiar with those point types and quartz colors. Always finding the same Morrow Mountains..on a ridge...above a spring. Ha
@@ridgeraider1 A little bit. When i first started collecting artifacts, anything that wasn't white or colored quartz, was just called flint. I do find some greyish chert from time to time and rhyolite. 99% of local material is white quartz with varying quality. Rose and red quartz. Yellow and brown quartzite or sugar quartz. Any other materials were brought to this area. I was told that the fine black and silverish flint that we find in this area was brought from a quarry located somewhere in NW GA. Ive found all of the same types that you were picking up. Especially those smaller Morrow Mountain ones. All found in Habersham, White, Rabun. Hall, and Forsyth counties in NE GA
Micheal Max There is some Chert here but just like where you are it is all brought in...same for rhyolite... i’m right on the line however of some more frequent chert to the west... many times I ask people what region they are hunting that they are finding so much Chert And immediately they think I’m trying to get them to give up their sites!in reality I’m just trying to map out where the chert actually starts and stops.... thanks for the information and good luck to you👍
@@ridgeraider1 Good luck to you as well. Finding out the quarry sites and the distances the materials traveled is fascinating. I've slowed down in collecting the past few years so I don't mind giving up places i go to. Unless i find something Paleo...lol
It's going to be a Great day !! When you pull a whole Bannerstone brother. With the 3 broken ones coming off that site. The odds are in your favor. I pray for it to happen for you. Just keep the faith. Some nice quartz points are coming off there. Just imagine what's left in the ground. Waiting for you. Thank you for sharing. Best of luck to you. P.H
Paleo Hunter thank you brother they have to be there somewhere... I’ll keep Checking as long as the site exists... I appreciate the comments and best of luck to you brother
Wow a very splendid hunt my friend. In different shapes and materials. The two pieces of artifact they were from? I will keep waiting for you my friend. Blessings.
Heartbreaker Relics thank you sir... i’m really hoping that something else will turn up before the site goes away... because once it’s gone that’s it... happy hunting to y’all👍
Hello 👋 Found your video scrolling my news feed. 😎 I really like how the mineralization in the rock compliments the craftsmanship of those arrowheads. Cool hobby! Got yourself a new S U B👍 381! 🎉
Lots of great artifacts my friend!! Love the kill shots!! Such a shame about the bannerstone but a fantastic find on the flip side!! I feel like you’re gonna score a whole one soon or later. Like u said...keep them eyes to the ground. Always look forward to seeing what you get next!! Thanks for sharing and Bol brother!! 👍
PineBeltRelics thanks brother... I feel like I’ll find the other half the some of that if I take my own theme music with me... maybe y’all could cover some Pat Benatar for me? Cause I just can’t sing as good you two🤣 but seriously though three banner pieces in a week... prior to that I’ve never found one! Surely if Ive found three separate pieces that increases my chances to finding the other half’s right? Anyway I hope y’all are doing good and finding good stuff... take care👍
Wow that spot sure does have a lot of stuff. I’m with you on the screening. I’ve tried it a few times and I’ve found that I usually find more from just scratching around. Also congrats on hitting 2k views on your last video🎉🎉
What's going on Bud!! You must be doing something right for your views are 5-6 times more than mine and your subs are one tenth!! WHAT??? Good job and good show of it all! You are dedicated... just digging... and finding... I have tried to dig... I know! You know how I feel about banner stones! Gooooooood spot and they made them there... used them there... the period of usage was relatively short. Competition??
I agree. But he is good at his editing. The quality of his introduction. Has me jealous. I'm trying to learn how to animate pictures. I have a lot of learning to do. I enjoy your videos. But I do agree. The intro. is to long. Very well made. But a little over the top. I had to start hitting the fast forward. But I do appreciate your skills in creativity.
Congratulations on the bannerstones!! Looks like you on a real hot spot
