Corey, In my 44 years of detailing, you could imagine I used it all on windows. No shame in my game, 44-45 years ago this stuff did not exist. Several years ago I found Sky's the Limit and started playing with the products. That forte almost had reverting back to my roots, LOL ! Thank you for your time brother, I appreciate it. I will absolutely give this a go, after all I am happy with everything else I get. Have a great day brother, Stay safe.
You mentioned a second coat is the second coat required for proper performance or a recommendation?don’t want to apply incorrectly so just ask to be sure. Great video thanks for the tips
Hi Chris, great question! One coat is perfectly acceptable and I have that on parts of my car with good results so far. I SUSPECT that two coats will be even better however. I am testing both. Best, Corey
Another good video :) You mention Carpro reset for washing. How important is it to use Reset for every wash? Is it ok to use other soaps for regular maintnance washes? Also thinking for the coating on the paint. I use Reload on my car 3-4 times a year so how important is Reset in this case?
Great question! Some soaps like Ultima Paint Guard Wash and CARPRO Reset are optimal but in a pinch you can use others no problem. As long as it contains no abrasives then a typical soap will not damage the ceramic coating. It can however clog it up a bit over time with waxes and gloss enhancers stuff. The good news is that if you wash with Reset again it will "RESET" the coating by removing the stuff that other soaps leave behind.
Yes, only because we do not know if the dealer applied anything to it or used washer fluid with wax in it. If we new for 100% certain that the glass was manufactured and nothing ever applied to it then we would not need to give it a quick polish but there is no way to know. The god news is it only takes about 3 +/- minutes to quickly go over the glass.
I wonder if you ever got the same issue like me today. Maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago I applied it on two different cars. Front windows with 2 coats of GForce. They got exact same first impression in the first two weeks, but in the next rain - 3 weeks away from the application, one of them hasn't any hydrofobic properties ot the front windows. And I can't understand the reason why. I've polished each of the windows. 🤔
Hmm, I have not seen that with this product but I have seen some pretty strange things over the years. Based on the timing of when it stopped working on one of them it SOUNDS like it just did not bond to that cars glass for some reason. Usually if a coating does not bond, it is obvious within 2-3 washes. Best I can say for a situation like this is to troubleshoot it by isolating the issue. Consider what could possibly be different from one car to the next. From prep, to products, to timing, to how it's maintained. If you can not put your finger the issue, then try a test spot on the "bad" vehicle on just one window to test and try to eliminate any variables.
Yes, so far getting all good feedback! Except for "open it slowly!" We did have one customer have some squirt out. But everyone is loving it so far. Thanks for commenting! Best, Corey
Man, I can't wait until my UK and SIC treamant has worn down enough to strip and apply DQuartz and GForce. I gotta quit watching your videos on this product. Makes me want to have at it right now. Keep up the good work!
Thats a really great question John. I have to say I failed in testing and showing that on this video but from everything I have seen so far, no issues. I always worry that on a car that has really minimal tension and only one tension point that it is possible with certain types of rubber but have not heard anyone with the issue yet with GForce. Remind me again in 3 months and I will update!
Thanks for the video! Tried it out today but I think I made a mistake by doing it while it were 7°C (44,6°F) outside. I have heavy high spots that were not removable by the MF towel at all (even with heavy wiping). Was this due to the temperature or could I made a different mistake?
Hi Jonathan, it generally flashes MUCH slower in cold temperatures (we recommend applying at 50F or over) but still possible. BUT sounds like you just missed certain spots. Either didnt wipe them off or used a towel for too long that had become saturated. Proper lighting and inspection while wiping may be the issue. You want to remove those high spots right away!! Do not let them cure any longer as they can become very difficult and eventually impossible for a DIY to remove safely. Watch my video on removing high spots and get to it asap and it should still be easy. Hopefully it is just a few isolated spots.
Ceriglass should NOT be used unless you are trying to remove scratches form the glass. Instead simply use Ultracut or Clearcut for a quick polish. In this order. 1. - Wash 2. - Polish with Ultracut or CLearcut 3. - panel wipe with Eraser 4. - Coat with GForce
@@giacomo6281 If ceriglass is needed then there is no need for Ultracut. No, you do not need the IronX on the glass if you are using ceriglass. If you think you have a bunch of brake dust on your windshield then it wont hurt though.
Any of their talcum grit micro compounds would be appropriate for glass polishing. (Essence, Ultra, Reflect, Clearcut). Just as long as you're not using hard grit long buff compounds. I use Lake Country Orange pads with Essence to light compound and follow-up with a black foam pad and Essence again to refine. That combo makes for a very nice finish if you're not working with an abused paint. I polish my glass with essence and an orange foam pad also.
Hi Plex, yes, Reflect will work perfectly. The reason I go straight to a heavy paint compound for the glass is because there is no downside to it if it works as easily as Ultracut. So if someone is doing it by hand or has lots of mineral spots on the glass this will cut them off faster than reflect. If the glass is already in good clean shape without sap and minerals, etc then Reflect is fine. But to simplifiy the video I just used Ultracut so I didn't have to get into those details for purpose of GForce.
Thank you! That’s helpful. I have a newer windshield with only about 2k miles on it, no major sap or minerals, so it sounds like reflect will work well. Big fan of your videos and company! ~Marian
Great question, I thought I would be able to find a link for you but apparently we haven't done a full ceriglass video. That was an excerpt from another video. For best tips on ceriglass use, read the product description on our site at skycarcare.com aka carpro-us.com until we get a full ceriglass video made
Thank you so much for the feedback! I went to review the directions on our website to see what we could be more clear on. I am not sure if you followed directions from our website or from the product packaging BUT my suspicion based on your comment is the product may have been left on for too long for your environment, or the glass was too warm, or not enough product applied. It does take a firm hand to wipe off if it flashes for very long. Hopefully this helps! Let us know either way.
Why on the CarPro UA-cam channel do they not recommend a final wipe? On their how-to video they just apply and leave it, you came back and did a final wipe.
A difference in application. CARPRO does it that way but we found that the final wipe yielded less risk of high spots and did not impact performance. We found it more beneficial for an easy application so we recommend it to our customers. We do tons of testing so the information that we share is always our experiences with using the products to what we find works the best!

Big thanks Corey, looks like another great product from CarPro!😊
Thank you Ralf! Yes, durability is the only thing I am not certain of yet but everything else is fantastic! If it lasts well I will be THRILLED

I’m planning to put gforce over all glass on a Tesla Y. Should I get the 50ml or will one or two 10ml be great? And thanks for the great video!
(1) 10ml is plenty! Thank you so much and sorry for the slow reply!
Would you recommend to coat the wiper blades as well to avoid chattering?
Great question, I have not heard of a need to do so but we always recommend to hit the wipers with Reload to assist,.
Would be good to see how it performs on the windshield. Thx for the video
You got it - will do another short video and updates on windshield.

Thanks for the video, very helpful! Would polishing with ultracut remove any previous ceramic coatings that were on the glass?
Thank you! YES, Ultracut would easily remove any cured coatings that are already on the glass. Happy Friday!

if you have dquartz go already, can u just use that on glass?
Yes, you can. We expect that GForce will last longer on glass but using DQUARTZ on glass is perfectly ok to do.

No, that is plastic film and this is designed for glass so I wouldn't recommend.
