    Brilliant! Nice to see a double sided stitch as so many stitches look good one side but not the other.

    The first couple of rows looked not so good, it isn't until you have it full size Infront of you that it really looks awesome, thank you for sharing, I look forward to trying this pattern out, I love the border and have that in mind for another baby blanket I'm currently working on. 💐🙏💞

    I've just found your channel and amazing playlist variety, and am already planning to get started on three of your projects. Your work is beautiful!! and the tutorials and video are so clear and thoughtful. I am also drawn to your yarn selection variety and color choices. I had been looking for a nice herringbone cowl tutorial, and your bobble (blanket) episode gives me ideas how to fashion a pretty cowl. These will do nicely to compliment two chemo hats I completed recently. I even hope to learn beginner Tunisian sometime this year simply by focusing on your work. Thanks, and sending you good wishes Claudetta!!

    Beautiful!! Question though.... do you just let the colors flow with this type of yarn? I have a similar type of cake and have been searching for a pattern so it doesn't look too chopping. I don't want to keep cutting the yarn. Thank you for anyone who answers this question.

    Should that be a multiple of 3 chains to start?

    • @claudettacrochet
      @claudettacrochet  4 роки тому

      Alison Jane multiples of 2 + 3 at the end

    • @alisonjane5364
      @alisonjane5364 4 роки тому +5

      @@claudettacrochet thank you. It just sounds wrong because the repeat is 3 chains? i.e. miss 2 chains then sc+2dc in the 3rd chain?

    • @monikatliche1140
      @monikatliche1140 4 роки тому +2

      Alison Jane, I agree with you totally.
      88 plus 3 chains: there is 1 chain too much at the end of the first row.
      18 plus 3 chains in the video: no problem, because 18 is a multiple of 2 and 3.

    Hi Claudetta! #ClaudettaCrochet I love this baby blanket! Hope you can my answer as soon as possible bc I want to buy the yarn right now! You started with a ch of 88 + 3 = 91 chains. If it were you, how many ch wide would you use to make for a 4 year old little girl? My granddaughter is 4 yrs old..I'd like to make her a blanket that she can use into her teens. Thank you 💙🧶🧶🧶

      Look up crochet blanket measurements online. You’ll find measurements from newborn to adult, lap to king. Then make your chain a few inches longer than the width measurement. Keep it in multiples as directed.

    Kannst du dir bitte mal angewöhnen das vernähen zu zeigen? Das nimmt wirklich nicht viel Zeit in Anspruch!! Ich will immer liken und teilen, aber zu 90 % fehlt immer das vernähen!!!!!!
