This is fabulous. Brings me back to the 80's. They sound tight. Billy's guitar playing during this era is beautiful--very intricate, delay, chorus, flanger, Roland JC-120--really really good
i am so so so pissed i missed these guys at Liverpool , Manchester and London, waited so long and just could not be there. So glad for sharing similar videos, i missed a great one.
The first time I saw them was at Olympia in São Paulo in 1995, but this performance as Death Cult in London was the best gig I've ever been to! Foi foda demais!!!!
Hey dude, nice job. I'm working on a multi-cam edit from the same night. You're right I'm left stage. Wanna collaborate? I'll obviously credit you at the end. If so I need to send you a google drive link you can upload your original vid files to. If you're on facebook then I've already posted a Sanctuary taster vid if you wanna see what to expect. The more clips I get the more epic it will be! Hope we can sort something 🙏 Edit: I should point out when I say multi cam I dont just mean you and I. I already have several collaborators who have sent me their footage, this is truly multi and stacking up to be pretty cool! Hopefully you’ll want to be part of it?
I think that's a great idea - especially if you have those parts which are missing from this upload. On which note, much gratitude to Sonic Document for their video here. It was an amazing night, and I was especially overjoyed to see Jamie suddenly standing onstage opposite me after Ian telling us that he thought we'd like the next song. The energy and purity of intent did not let up one iota the entire evening. Sheer brilliance.
No response? Is that a "not interested" or "not read this"? Be grateful for a yes or no as I'm going to post it soon but your footage would make a significant difference to the overall experience?
I hope they just stick with Death Cult. It's best name and everything and put Cult to bed.. Much more depth, just better all round... And they seem more relaxed...
we were there 20th, great gig and good to hear Killing Joke's Love Like Blood pre gig - RIP Geordie, you will be sorely missed !
I came from Denver to see that show. Awesome with Jamie...
I was there - was delighted to see Jamie Stewart !
Ok this is a reprise of a gig recorded in the eighties, which I happened to see that got me into the cult. Wonderful

What a gig! Eldritch take note!
hah - he doesn't stand a chance these days, total waste of time !
Resurrection Ian an Billy. Damn, they sounded good.
One of the best gigs i've ever been to!!
For the cult to step up in this venue, at this stage in their career. And go back in time. Seems like a legendary moment.
Thanks a whole lot. Us in the U.S. are envious of these DC videos on YT.
Essa banda é demais!!!!!

I agree, based on this recording. It is evident that this performance had a magical energy.
Que legal ver Jamie stewart tocando com os antigos amigos depois de tantos anos.......rock n roll nunca morre!
Thank you! Muito obrigado!

I never understood why Resurrection Joe was never put on an album

I know. If they just stick with death cult for a few more years they will probably actually be dead.
