Traveled from Michigan to check this Creek Out, stayed at Campground, and Nailed Big Trout ALL week. Thank You for this fine info long haired guy this Bucnhes Creek Is The Red Deal !!❤❤
River, Awesome - when fished properly. Since they look, taste and smell just like a natural egg they are effective. That's why so many anglers use them for steelhead;)
Sucks that their stocking has gone in the crapper. I love going up there but fishing has depleted drastically the past few years. Now it seems they just back the trucks up to the ponds and open the valve. Streams are bare.
Great video and thanks for sharing. My son just fished the Cherokee General Water for his first Team USA Youth Fly Fishing Championship in early November. We look forward to fishing the Cherokee again in the future. Keep Up the great work on your channel.
Man those are nice. I can not get them to bite right now over here in Haywood county. All I've caught is perch. Hopefully when it warms up next month will do better.
I miss home so much. All I did growing up was trout fishin the creeks. I didnt do sleep overs or play with barbie dolls I grabbed my little shakespeare before and after the school bus came.
Is that considered a native bait? Last time we were up there they talked to us for fucking 2 hours about what baits we can and can't use and I thought if it was native they would mess you up if they caught you....hey ether way good video..I never heard of you guys till I typed in nc trout...I'm glad I came across yall..if your ever wanting to hit the rivers down towards charlotte nc lmk I'd love to film with you guys for some content and knowledge
Fished there this summer. Made 12 trips caught 6 fish. The entire party I fish with netted 26 fish in 12 trips. What has happened in Cherokee is now they allow the waters to be fished by the local residents where as in years past the paid waters were not fished by the local residents. I would like to recommend to people not to expect numbers like you are seeing here or the sizes. This video was filmed after a fresh stocking. While there are some beautiful waters there this video misrepresents the reality of fishing in Cherokee.

Hey Chris S. How well do fire balls work on natural fish (not stockers)?
River,

@@TeamPautzke thanks bud, I ordered Natural Deluxe, Pink Shrimp, and Chinook. I'll give them a whirl!
Please use them or two or four pound test with a size 10-14 single salmon egg hook - and they'll work great!
Is that bunches creek? I always just fish at koa with limited success. Is bunches more fun? Love your baits.

We saw nothing but an excellent stocking program.

those are some of the biggest stocked fish I've ever seen. I wish they would stock like that more regularly.

wtf trout fishing..... stands 10ft from the fish and floats it past them over and over. What skill. with a bobber no less....
What would we do without fans like you? Thanks for watching!
Lol
A turtle and a fish breed together
You can only catch fish with dough bait cuz they probably stocked them that day
Actually, you can always catch fish with Fire Bait, Tyler. We caught wild trout and stockers with it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
That Brook trout was stocked recently and so were those rainbows
I fished in that exact spot it’s amazing
