Just came across this Vid. Saved me a ton of money as this switch of springs , together with the replacement of the lower brake spring by an elastomere spring, turns the T-LCM Pedals into a serious driving tool. For the brake I use now the red original spring for pre-load and grey elastomere with 89Kg setting. It's a very good compromise scross my 5 sims and the various car classes I race. But the TM clutch spring under der accelarator pedal is the "burner"...light enough to modulate but stiff enough to avoid the nervousness of the originsl spring setting...Top
@@markgresty1633 you are correct. Adds more resistance to the throttle and personally feels more balance but at the end of the day it's also subjective.
hey, amazing guide, did everything just like you said, but I noticed, when I’m pushing throttle flat, my foot hurts like crazy for some reason, and it wasn’t like this before, any tips?
if you have a Logitech pedal set, swap the T-lcm's the throttle and clutch springs for the Logitech's clutch and brake respectively. I've done this the pedals feel a whole lot better
hola buenas sabrias decirme donde puedo comprar el resorte de acelerador , el mio re rompio una parte y no se ni la medida del resorte ni donde comprar el recambio
I have a question, my throttle pedal is not responding properly, it's not totally broken but it just fails and I can't see why it does so. Is this a problem that more users have and could your trick solve this problem?
Don't know if you have the same problem as I had. My throttle jumped from 0-40% ish. I raised the deadzone in the game (Dirt rally 2) to about 60% deadzone, and somehow it's working much better now.

Wow. Thank you for the great and easy tip. My pedals feel more balanced now!!
Omg what a positive difference - I have way more control over the car in every way now
I did this a while ago and what a difference it makes. Thanks for the video!
You're welcome!
can you explain what difference it makes ?> is the clutch spring a thicker gauge?

Thanks for taking the time bro, You made my day so much easier
Man this genius! And it’s totally worth it! I can totally notice the difference. This gas pedal would have been better this way from factory. 👌
Totally agree!
🙌🙌
Thanks for the video!
Very good tutorial my guy thank you
Thank you!
I wanted to know what you’ve got for the bottom section of the brake spring set up
Cheers, I wanted to know how to reverse it, same process 😂, who'd have thought it 🤷♂️
Thanks again 😊
Like deployed 👍
Thank you :)
You can invert the pedals for the same effect

Outer Diameter for T-LCM springs Are 18mm
Remove all screws underneath?
Hi. What is this tool/screwdriver you are using proper name?

Are the same lenght??
@@T0n189 no, logitech's are slightly shorter but doesn't cause slack or anything
do you really need to recalibrate after this ? or not necessarly cause it is potentiometer o its about the distance?
ciao, il mio accelleratore a volte rimane accellerato, soluzione?
What does it do? Does it make the throttle pedal heavier or lighter to push?
heavier
Thanks idk why thrustmaster didn't just ship them out like this from factory. It would make more sense.
Hi man, do i loose my warranty after this?
Yes from what Ive read.
My throttle pedal spring broke, anyone know how to get replacement ?
How would Thrustmaster service know that you opened T-LCMs? Are there any warranty stickers or any other signals?
If you break something inside they will know :)
hola buenas sabrias decirme donde puedo comprar el resorte de acelerador , el mio re rompio una parte y no se ni la medida del resorte ni donde comprar el recambio
Contact Thrustmaster on their support website.
So the warranty is voided through opening it up or by changing the springs?
opening it

my clutch pedal has a issue where it gets to about 0.2 or 0.4 and i pull it back then it stops until i let go
so i need to get a new spring right?
Question: Is this spring change working well today? I am worried about changing the springs and over time damaging the hall sensor system.
i saw that you are using rubber on the brake pedal, witch mod is it ?
Nothing special, simple rubber spacers. The video about this mod is in the making now.
I use the same
and you not disassemble the entire loadcell ???? fake video
This video is about the spring swap, not load cell disassembly.
silly comment Axl
Crazy person
