Well, I don't know. Life certainly has it's ups and downs, some horrible and others annoying. But is there, or has there ever been, anyone God didn't love or does not love?

      A few thoughts:
Yes, God loves all and desires for all to reach repentance. God loves the world and so he displayed the greatest sacrifice that all might enter in. God loves everyone but God does not have intimacy love with everyone. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. There are those who draw near and are closer to him relationally. All who are in Christ are the same close to him positionally by the blood of Jesus- but not all are the same close relationally. Nearness relationally, intimately, is grown over time and with intentionality.
Along with that- those who accept and walk in sonship identity know how to receive the love of the Father and the discipline of the Father. One who understands the love of the Father and continually receive it and know their positional nearness and acceptance before the father doesnt change have the confidence in his love to be able to receive his discipline as love and for the sake of growth/closeness relationally rather than receive it as shame and shrink back.
