Lol not hard to get. Just taking time to make sure i was ready and that this was a good relationship to commit to. For someone who had never dated in any capacity before there were so many conversations i had with the Lord, so many wrong ideas about dating and knowing the end from the beginning that had to be addressed, some ideas about what love was supposed to feel like or be that had to be addressed, fears that had to be addressed, conversations that had to be had… and we had to get to know each other outside of prayer room environments and work settings. You have to see people in real every day life to see the real fruit of their lives and also the chemistry you have or dont have! It took time for us to become best friends and it took real life and communication to see that we’re on the same page. I knew so little about who nathan was at the beginning of our story, but the time and his patient, steady love and pursuit and the safety he created for me to figure out how i felt without putting expectation on me was exactly what i needed to be able to receive and then truly reciprocate!
