Ode to Gordon is top tier for me because not only because it's about my favorite character, but also feels like a Classic Series song (aside from the Classic footage from S6/7 they used). Gordon always has the best shots in the show and this one is no exception. I know Mike O'Donnell did state in Sidekickjason's interview with him that he and Junior never thought of the idea to write songs about Edward, Henry and Gordon. But this song would've solidify as a perfect fit if it were in Season 7 (and the melody could've been a perfect remix with Gordon's Classic theme).
I whole heartedly agree with Thomas, you’re the leader being at the top of the list. The three reasons are how it’s listing almost every single character from the show, the music is beyond fantastic, and how they describe Thomas and his friends are just right.
Whenever I think of the kid singers for this show, I think of when I was in 5th grade. At age 10/11, I wanted to be one of the kid singers for this show, and I actually joined the 5th grade choir because I thought it would lead to that happening….
@@Avery_Productions haha maybe, although considering they they’re….you know, kids, I’m not gonna judge them too hard. I am a musician nowadays, and when it comes to any sort of artistic endeavor, it’s not always about being “better” than someone else, it’s about being good on your own merits and doing the best you can in your own way.
I'm definitely not surprised that Thomas, You're the Leader was number one. It is an unbelievably incredible and kick ass song in all of Thomas' history!
Okay so apparently I forgot togetherness and try to do things better 🤦♂️ really sorry about that guys, just goes to show how same-y all of the songs are I guess haha 😆
I actually really like Sounds, it's a pretty catchy and bouncy song. Remember it a lot from playing Thomas DVD Bingo. And of course Thomas, You're The Leader is #1. How could it not be? Probably one of the best Thomas songs period; an utter celebration of the franchise and such a distinct song from the HiT era due to it having a different singer and style. Something special about it is that after the Engine Roll Call in The Great Discovery you'd think we'd get the standard credits, but no. We instead get one last song to cap off the whole model era while the credits roll. A neat twist IMO.
I can see why you have no idea why nobody likes the song because there literally isn't any actual reason given here other than "it sucks!!!!" like if you're gonna tell me that an actually eerie song where everything is intentionally off by a little bit and the whole thing is just morbid in general is terrible, please give me more of an elaborate reason than "it sounds bad"

8:59 - Nice Caddicarus reference, I had out of the games, the 3rd and 6th. Oh yeah, and I like the Determination song, it’s ironically brilliant to me! Same with Brave, overlooked I‘d say, Jobs a Plenty, for being catchy in its theme. And yes, “Thomas, You’re The Leader“ is ironically the best song of the era, which certainly shows how it worked on here!
You should rank the hit éra themes. I am a big fan of hit era. I dont know why but something just makes me love IT. Of course there are some Bad things but the themes Can be smahers, not counting the skarloey Railway themes. Hope you 'll do them one they.
Kinda off-topic, but you know how some episodes in the classic series used stock-footage scenes from older episodes? Some of those scenes are deleted scenes, so do they still count as deleted scenes if they were used in later episodes?
Here's my ranking of the HiT Era songs: 33. Day and Night (3/10) 32. Favourite Place (3/10) 31. H is for Harold (3/10) 30. The Dream Song (4/10) 29. Every Day's a Special Day on Sodor (5/10) 28. 2:34 fun fact; the tv series canonically exists in the RWS, as well as the books, so imagine the RWS Skarloey engines hearing this song. Especially Duncan.
I'm in the camp of... Brave is one of my favorite Thomas songs from the HIT Era simply for its music and tone. Yea the lyrics are a bit... misleading but still its a fun song to listen to and sing to. I love it
I grew up in the hit era music so Patience and World Around You were my childhood. Looking back yeah they're kinda annoying but listening to them is a core memory for me lol
The Thomas And Friends Hit Era songs My Favorite Thomas And Friends Hit Entertainment Ear song Is Night And Day Surprises Ode to Gordon Engine Roll Call And Sounds! Songs From the Station Thomas And Friends Hit Entertainment Era 2004! DVD
engine roll call is great, but only when its sung by Headmaster Hastings lol. The children singing are ear piercing, and was something that annoyed me even as a kid. The melody is genuinely good, if youve seen the classic remix from S.A Music
Personally I think Sounds song is good. It may be childish and boring but it has some good sound effects like steam engines' chuffings. I especially love the shot zooming out Edward with coal trucks as he puffs along.
I agree with a good portion of where the songs are ranked. Plus imo the classic era is where 90% of the good songs come from and a good 5% from the cgi era.
Thomas your the leader is the best hit era song and is the best way to end the model series we love and still love to today ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 l think it number 1 of my favourite hit era songs

Agreed!!
I couldn’t agree more
I concur
i love the engine roll call

You Also Forgot Trying To Do Things Better
It's OK, Sean. We're not mad, just disappointed...
Are you going to go back and re-edit this video because you forgot these two songs?
I actually really like Sounds, it's a pretty catchy and bouncy song. Remember it a lot from playing Thomas DVD Bingo.

you know you can sing “Thomas and James are Racing” in the tune of “Where Oh Where is Thomas?” and visa-versa.
never noticed
I still love The Dream Song and I have no idea why nobody likes that song 😂

Sonic rush is the best. My first game I’ve ever played back in 2009
So about the narrow gauge criticism of how the sing calls them cute well they are they're adorable with how small they are

You’re The Leader is genuinely a top tier song as a whole, literally everything about it is perfect and oh my GOD the instrumental is IMMACULATE🙏🏾
Navigation is my fav song form the hit era, and one of my 3 favourite songs from Thomas overall.
Not to mention headmaster Hastings did an amazing cover of it.
What's your favourite Thomas song
@@fanofeverything30465 good question.
Really useful engine from TATMR
“Thomas your the Leader” has to be my favorite thomas song ever
I think the worst song from this era is H is For Harold, because the children’s choir makes me want to stab my ears off because they’re SO offkey
🎵They dig, they dump, they can flatten out a bump…that’s what they do!
They rock, they roll, they can drill you out a hole…that’s what they do!🎵
OK, sir, here's the deal. You're The Leader better be at the top. Make that happen and everything will be all good and gravy...
I’m currently near the beginning, and this is exactly what I’m thinking. And yes, I’m very late to this😂

I’ve never seen Sean this fed up
Busy is probably my favorite out of all of these songs
same
The roll call is my favourite
Finally Someone likes the song Brave! Yes!
“Pride” is my favorite HiT era song!
Patience is so underrated! Also when people say Hit era songs are the same I dissagree
Kinda off-topic, but you know how some episodes in the classic series used stock-footage scenes from older episodes? Some of those scenes are deleted scenes, so do they still count as deleted scenes if they were used in later episodes?
