Thanks for visiting my favourite area of Shoreham, along with some great tips. Rag has been outfishing lug lately, which is odd as they are not found locally. I'll put your, and Gem's, knowledge to the test this week.

I've ignored thousands of them white rag when I'm digging lug over the years there's just never been a market for them or time when I'm after numbers of worm. But now i know there's folk who want them good flatty bait. Be well see you soon

New subscriber here, was binge watching a load of older episodes (used to love a chesil road trip pre wife and kids) and then this video crops up on my local beach. Fished there Tuesday on the way home from work for 40 mins, 2 chucks - 3 plaice, and again the following day, 3 chucks and not a sniff, went home refreshed and ready to get moaned at about not a lot! Can be some good summer fishing for golden greys along that stretch. Keep them coming

I went chesil last night from 4pm - midnight, I didn't even get one bite 🙈
It's a funny time of year
I've seen videos where alot of people seem hook flounder on the retrieval of another fish like a schooley bassoon a one up one down because they seem to like disturbance hence why flounder spoons work with a nice rag worm 🪱 it really stirs the sand, anyway I was wondering if the Same goes for place, also in reference to white rag I think when I've been collecting my own rag I think I've seen maybe 50 white rag in MANY years of fishing 🎣 I think theirs something about castletown on the isle of man that they Don't like infact rag are hard to come buy full stop cuz it's back breaking trying to get a dozen on the beach turning rocks digging in gravel and then putting the stones back, it's easier and less time consuming to dig 100 lugworm. Anyway do place follow and take on the retrieval like flounder??
Great video as usual. Yep, a double hook up of small whiting is a good sign it's time to go. The plaice seem to be showing everywhere now, with a few caught around Salcombe last week. Keep up the great work, we all love your videos Wayne. Even the blanks!
