As always with your approach to fishing John... Care. Compassion. Commitment to the species. SO much information here. Here's hoping others take all this onboard. My Compliments - and my Best Wishes to all the family John.
You are a dedicated fisherman, respect bro. And to the people who disagree with fisherman whether it be river canal loch or sea , FISHERMAN are the gatekeeper of the waters, reporting pollution and stopping illegal fishing , these people have a love of nature 💕 most people don't understand.
Hi John another cracking video from you I've been sea fishing for 25 years or more from the boat and shore and I still learn something new after watching your presentations I also like the way you show that fishing can be done with the minimum amount of pain and suffering to the fish by the way you utilise a tub filled with water along with the way you use your disgorger to remove the hook without causing injury to the fish whether you are returning it to the sea or even if you intend taking it home to eat I wish more fisherman would adopt this method. Also with your knowledge and passion of fishing I think you should have your own fishing channel on tv im sure that you would generate a lot of interest in fishing you have probably forgotten more about fishing than most of the so called experts keep up the exelent work. Thanks Les.
Thanks John, lovely flounders.. Great seeing you getting the hooks out with no damage to the fish. A long day for but many thanks for taking us along with you. Much appreciated. Graham 🐟🐟🐟
Loving these Sunday night uploads John! And also enjoying the shore fishing content! As always great video. You are the best sea fishing channel on UA-cam. 👍
Awesome explanations again as usual. I can’t believe you’ve not been picked up to do a seasonal tv series! Years ago we had Gone fishing, and Mat Hayes ect. Now I believe it’s time for The fish locker to get more exposure as I believe you have more to give and would present your vast knowledge to a wider audience. Keep up the good work, always a pleasure to watch. 👍

I so love this channel! I live in the Western US, so my fishing is all inland high mountain streams and lakes for trout and salmon usually on a fly, so it is fascinating watching such a completely different style of fishing, and exotic species (at least exotic to me)...plus I am originally from the UK, so it brings me warm and fuzzy "back home" tingles. :)

The thing i liked most in this video John, is the respect towards your catch. When you don't take it home for the pot, one should treat the catch in the proper way and that is de way how you handle the fish. I have seen it in numerous times in your video's, but especialy in this video it showes the care you have for what you are doing towards the fish. A deep bow and hat of for that John. You are an example for many fisherman and i know why.👍👍👍. Greetz from Stipo from Holland
Thank you very much. I am glad that is something that transfers across in our videos. It is also something I am teaching our children. Take only what you need and treat the natural world with respect and appreciation. 💙
The word exspert is often used thats rather unworthy, I have watched and listened to many of your vids and consider you top knotched with sea and river fishing. Apart from the interest I enjoy each one, thanks Fish Locker for sharing.
