finally! someone from an indian background going through this journey :-) i've looking in insta and youtube wishing that i could see what it would look like on someone who was indian so thank u for sharing this! very inspiring.. :-)
I also color my hair...but i hate to spend time and money every 20-25 days. Now due to second wave of lock down i am not able to colour my hair. I think of leaving it as it is but when i look myself in video calls i feel like going back to colouring again. It takes a lounge strength to go thru the transition time. I haven't coloured since last 1 month and it is looking bad. Your video gave me the courage to leave it as it is natural. Thank you.
This is so much like me! I was too bold myself cutting my hair all the way, whatever the name of that haircut would be. :) I just didn't want to see any red color on my hair anymore and I was ready to embrace my own silvers. I was using henna for years but still didn't feel like coloring my hair any longer. I am getting there and I will feel completely comfortable once I will cut my hair the way I want it. I know it takes time and I encourage myself over and over again. Unfortunately, it's engraved in poor women's head since childhood that grey hair is a no-no. :( Thank you for sharing your awesome story!
WOW! You look so beautiful & your hair is absolutely gorgeous. I've been coloring my hair for more than 10 years. I've also decided to stop coloring my hair & let my gray hair grow. I'm 52 years old. I've grown tired of spending money buying hair color every 2 months. I'm not afraid of letting my gray hair show. I embrace it.
Thank you for sharing your journey! Love it! My natural hair color is dark brown. I started going grey about 2 months ago and also plan to have a pixie cut when needed. You look younger, vibrant, and hip with your pixie cut!! Great job!
You look beautiful! Love the grey! I have been salt and pepper since I was 56 so 2 yrs and I love not having to deal with the coloring every few weeks. I have a pixie I am growing out now. 💜
You look absolutely gorgeous with your pixie cuts! 😍Such a lovely face and face shape. Well done for all that you've done for grey haired women. I'm in my 50's with my hair still naturally VERY black 😆 but I am just SOOOOO inspired by seeing the lot of you! Its evident that it changes EVERYTHING!! From confidence levels, to clothing styles, resilience to people's negative comments which leads to being a stronger person etc etc. So you carry on ladies!!! I'm proud and encouraged by all of you! 🤗👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I started going gray in high school, same with my mom and grandma. My mom, at age 40, tried going all gray and people started asking if she was our grandma (at the time I was 12 and the yougest was 6) then she got breast cancer and lost all her. Once in remission, she said she'd never have gray hair again. She dyed her hair until she was in her 70's. I have reallly tried to attempt to make the transition, just can't bring myself to do it. The people in my physical life that I have seen do it, look much older than they are. Hopefully some day I can make the transition.
First of all, you are beautiful..your transition journey brought tears in my eyes..I been facing the same problems and everytime i walk out of my home..I get those weird stares and really bad compliments regarding my hair
Thank you Nisha! A few initial months are the most challenging. Don’t fear, carry yourself with confidence. People will judge as it’s not ‘normal’ for them to see grey hair on a younger face. Be strong and be yourself!! Best wishes.

Wow beautiful haircut mam you are looking fabulous on silver pixie haircut keep it up 🙌🤗
She looks pretty with the grey
M also goind through same condition.....colouring my hair each month...feels so sad
Aww! I can understand, it's a trap.
Excellent decision: being natural.
Thank You!
You look so beautiful,
Should I change my shampoo during transition phase.
Thanks! Not necessary, only if you find your silvers to be dull or not bright.
Keep it short it looks so cute short honestly!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
nice hair.. love it
It looks beautiful!
Thank You!
Really cute on you!!
Thank You!
You look awesome!!! Well done!!
Thank you 💜
That pixie cut looked really good in some of those pictures. Don't think I would look good in that.
Mam can you please review one step henna + indigo application on grey's....
Process:
1) hair are washed
2) warm towel is wrapped for cuticle opening
3) Pure henna soaked a day before is mixed with about double quantity of pure indigo powder and warm water. Then applied to hair after 2-3 minutes.
4) hair are covered by shower cap and rinsed after 2 hours.
5) No oiling or shampoo for 48 hours.
I am sorry, but I left using henna and permanent hair colours on my hair.
@@sparklingsilvers Ok mam.
I too have many white hair at a very early age.
I applied so called " black mehandi" and it turned my black hair also into white !!
@@preritgoyal9293 hello sar pushp nechurl bleck mhndi whait hears ke liye kya shi rhegi aapke hear bleck mhndi se or white to nhi huye na please sar muje btaiye ki bleck mahndi hears ke liye jada achi rhegi ya hears colour please sar reply me or black mahndi balo ko rukha kr deti h
@@AartiKumari-hl4pv Mam every natural black mehandi contains PPD (para phenyl diamine) which turns all our hair white.
The only purely natural way to blacken our hair is henna + indigo process.
Nothing can get our hair colored black without containing chemicals !!
@@preritgoyal9293 me thora ache se samj sku kya aapne bleck mhndi ka istemal kiya tha or kiya to kitne time tk kiya please sar reply me
Looking beautiful in pixie cut
Thank you ❤️
Anjana I am very upset for my hair please mujhe Kuch btayen Mai bhut presan Hu .....mujhe bhut gande gande khyal aate Hai Jais log Meri white root dekhenge to Kya kehenge or mere in laws future me Kya khenge koi mujhe pasnad nai krega SB mujhe stare karenge n Mai soch soch K yunhi Mar jaungi mujhe ye cintinuesly 8 saal se bhut depressed Hu phle shikayat bs white hair Ki thi ab Har cheej Ki hai khud me kuch Acha nai lgata😭😭😭😭😭😭
Pinky, its a choice not a necessity that you may give up hair dye! Agar apko grey hair se depression ho raha h to mein ek hi baat kahugi, life is too short to think too much! Enjoy colouring your hair. Jo chez aapko khushi nahi de rahi who kyu karna. You must keep on colouring your hair and enjoy!
Thnqq for reply ma'am .....maam Mai Garnier colour length K hair K liye use krti hu every 6 month isse koi prbl to nai hogi mtlb Meri roots or white to nai hogi na ma'am please bta dijye n roots K liye Heena n indigo lgati Hu
Ma'am ap batiyen Kya ye process Sahi hai
@@shivanikumari751 Is baat mein koi sach nahi h ki colour se baal jyada safed hote h. Hair ka grey hona ek natural process h jo apke genes par depend karta h. Aap bindas colour laga sakte ho.
@@shivanikumari751 Shivani ji aap Garnier colour ruts m nhi use krte ho and Hina or indigo ko use krte aapko kitna time ho gya grey hears or grey huye h ya km huye h mahndi and indigo se please di reply me me bhi aapki tarah presan hu

U inspired me...thanks a ton. Stay blessed.
You look younger now!
Please suggest a good shampoo for white hair
Hi Farida, I use Loreal Clay Shampoo as my regular shampoo and dove conditioner. Also, I have been using Kerotin purple shampoo and conditioner for a year now and it works amazingly on grey hair. Have a look at this review post that I recently published on my blog: sparklingsilvers.com/kerotin-purple-shampoo-and-conditioner-review/
