7:30 Unfortunately I do have a genuine fear of vomiting. It’s predominantly triggered from hearing and watching other real life people doing it (absolutely no issue with it being animated or in written text, particularly when it’s super unrealistic/cartoony) and a majority of the panic attacks I’ve suffered from have been because I’ve been exposed to someone vomiting or on the verge of it. Whenever I plan to watch a new show or movie I always have to thoroughly check for vomit warnings beforehand, because the last time I didn’t bother to check (watching District 9, phenomenal movie btw I highly recommend it) I got caught off guard and ended up having to rewatch it later because the sheer amount of panic I felt was causing heart palpitations :( I do wish it was a fear that was treated a little more seriously by others 😔 If you can accept why people fear disease, you should have the same acceptance for emetophobia imo since they’re very adjacent phobias
I also have a severe fear of vomiting! I will actively leave a room/building if I even so much think someone is vomiting. I can't see it, hear it, smell it. I refuse to use a bathroom that has recently been vomited in (recent being as much as a full day or 2). I haven't thrown up in over 13 years by sheer will, I just do everything in my power to not do it. It really is my biggest fear, all my fears of illness stem back to it.
You should NEVER accept an irrational fear in the sense of placating it, protecting yourself from it or wanting it to be "recognized". Instead, just face it, you'll panic, your heart will beat whatever. With time, you'll just get over it. An Amygdala is like a protective dog, it barks at anything you teach it to bark at but it's also possible to teach it to stop barking by constant exposure and confidence, reassurance.

I actually do have the phobia of vomit/vomiting (emetophobia). It’s kinda hard to explain. If I feel like I’m going to vomit or on the verge of it, I start to panic and worry. I can’t explain why I freak out, but I think it’s the pain. When your stomach clenches, the stomach acid lingers in your tongue, you feel miserable afterwards, not sure. If I can handle reading about a character vomiting but if I hear it (and the gagging noises) or see it, I start to feel sick myself and want to vomit too it’s an irrational fear
Lets take a moment to appreciate how mung is making videos like this frequently. Its just absolutely insane how one can make videos about lore of an entire obscure show in only a week.
I know this is suuuuper late, but I'm very glad I found your channel, cuz so far from the three videos I've seen you post, cover shows I watched on netflix and completely forgot about-- they are indeed obscure and again I am very glad you cover them because they were weird yet entertaining when I was a kid lol
Really, the reason you're afraid of anything is because of the unknown. It's a completely random factor. You are afraid of things you're unsure of, things you don't know, because that random variable may hurt or kill you. Obviously, there are some exceptions, like being afraid of the knowledge that something bad will happen, but, for the most part, the theory can apply to most fears
OH MY GOD!!! I thought this was lost media, i only saw the episode with the mailman and i thought it was post-apocalyptic, i ALSO THOUGHT he was evil and had a minion..for some reason, prob because i watched invader zim too

Same with larva both basing their episodes on expressions/actions instead of having the talking tell the story. It’s uniquely amazing. love Figaro sm ❤
Oh my god, i remember watching the episode where he takes his skin off and it lives as a separate being and then it tries to replace him or something, that episode haunted me to this day. 2:20 seeing it now its way less scary in this clip.
Same that shit was weird
I remember me and my sister was obsessed with this show
You should do a vid on rabbids invasion it's a goated brainrot show and speechless too
Bro that guy in the thumbnail just gave me whiplash (/j) bc I remember my brothers being OBSESSEDDDD with that show
3:04 I mean… are you sure? All the stuff going on in the last year…
OH MY GOD- I completely forgot about this show!! Just seeing the cover brought back a slew of memories- I used to be terrified of this show!! Touched on a LOT of phobias I had back then and some I probably still have
Figaro pho was literally me and my sisters favorite show to watch and when I got older I wanted to revisit it but I could never find where to watch it 😭
Damn this guy knows all of my favorite childhood shows now, ig. First Larva, now Figaro.
This is LITERALLY MY CHILDHOOD
bro thats (specifically, the adventures of figaro pho. not the new one) one of the shows that raised me... that shit actually fucked me up
I'm literally a mosquito magnet and wouldn't you know it mosquitos carry diseases and i have a dogwater immune system,i get bit all the time and i can assure you i never go outside😂
I remember watching this 2 years ago, and this shit was uncanny and horrifying because of the character styles 💀
10:25 paranoia
I thought this was a fever dream and not a real show
Saw this on Australia+ by mistake, Don't regret it one bit cause this show it's straight up what got me less scared of shows that were mainly for scares
Idk how i had access to the channel cause I'm filipino but hey, Wiggles, Playschool and this: It's a good viewing right there
me, 18, still terrified of the dark, feel like i am being watched, not wanting to know what is under the bed. phobias can be anything.
I wouldn't consider myself to still be scared of the dark since I'm long passed the phase of needing any source of light to sleep. But the dark still scares me and I never want to get up off a bed when there's no lights on.
I wonder, since you're doing obscure shows, can you do Qumi Qumi? It's an obscure show that I'd watched when I was younger. I first saw the show while looking through the angry birds toon tv section on the original Angry Birds game.
If I'm in Africa, Mosquitoes would be my biggest fear due malaria
requesting a Spliced video
Omg I love that show
This show literally gave me the fear of throwing up. It traumatized me as a child
Please do Zig & Sharko or Oggy and the Cockroaches 😿🙏
1:06 Dude looks like Nebbercracker if he actually ate Contance💀
Pls do Grizzly and the lemmings next pls :DDDD
Surpised that this guy hasn't talked about The Twisted Wiskers Show, that would make a good video.
Wood can give you splinters
mung you are talking about old shows i only vaguely remember watching as a youngan and I'm so glad,, i never would have found these again otherwise 💀
Can you make obscure lore of the owl&co
I actually do have the phobia of vomit/vomiting (emetophobia). It’s kinda hard to explain.
If I feel like I’m going to vomit or on the verge of it, I start to panic and worry. I can’t explain why I freak out, but I think it’s the pain. When your stomach clenches, the stomach acid lingers in your tongue, you feel miserable afterwards, not sure.
If I can handle reading about a character vomiting but if I hear it (and the gagging noises) or see it, I start to feel sick myself and want to vomit too
it’s an irrational fear
Rabbits next
THIS SHOW HAS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR YYEEAAARRSS I JUST NEVER REMEMBERED THE NAME
10:32 skinwalkers?
Bro, I’ve had this lingering memory of this show in the back of my mind. I cannot express how thankful I am for this video
Lore of spookiz?
Lets take a moment to appreciate how mung is making videos like this frequently. Its just absolutely insane how one can make videos about lore of an entire obscure show in only a week.
I know this is suuuuper late, but I'm very glad I found your channel, cuz so far from the three videos I've seen you post, cover shows I watched on netflix and completely forgot about-- they are indeed obscure and again I am very glad you cover them because they were weird yet entertaining when I was a kid lol
Thank you so much for covering this show, I kept trying to find it but I could never find it
Really, the reason you're afraid of anything is because of the unknown. It's a completely random factor. You are afraid of things you're unsure of, things you don't know, because that random variable may hurt or kill you. Obviously, there are some exceptions, like being afraid of the knowledge that something bad will happen, but, for the most part, the theory can apply to most fears
Day 1 of asking for the obscure lore of Oggy and the cockroaches
Omg i have been searching for this show for years. I remember watching this show all the time when i was young.
OH MY GOD!!!
I thought this was lost media, i only saw the episode with the mailman and i thought it was post-apocalyptic, i ALSO THOUGHT he was evil and had a minion..for some reason, prob because i watched invader zim too
Theory, the fear of being stared at by a duck is because ducks don't normally do that. It'd probably give you the feeling that something's just off, you know, just not right. But yeah, it's still a very weird phobia that you probably shouldn't have.
I remember seeing this on Netflix as a kid.
Thank you for bringing back this childhood masterpiece to me
I watched this every day as a kid
i remember this show, especilay the one were he pulls of his skin
I have not watched this in YEARS, it brings back so many memories, such a random show I used to watch as a kid
How are you bringing back all these childhood shows for me 💀 Can you do Pingu or Oggy and the roaches?
Finally someone made a video of this goated show!😭
