I am Japanese. Welcome to Japan!! I am glad you could see the Imperial Palace. By the way, cash is still the mainstream in Japan.
Thank you! :)
Thank you for enjoying Japan 🇯🇵
Thanks for watching! 😊
I hope you had a great time! The quality of the video is amazing:)
Welcome to Japan !
Please enjoy Japan!
And please come visit Japan again!
Thank you so much ☺
I loved Japan and will go back. You chose the SIM card, but we used portable wifi that was delivered to our hotel and then we dropped it off at the airport at the end. It was our lifeline and affordable. Helped to access google maps which helped us get from a to b with multiple public transport options like locals. Saved a lot of time. A lot of walking. Our first day we clocked 15 km. love your work. 😊
We've heard about this option before, but thought the SIM Card is the easiest to set up :) We used Google Maps a lot haha. Thank you for your comment :)
Welcome to Japan!!
I hope your trip is great😊
Thanks a lot :)
Awesome video, you guys already knocked out so many of the obligatory activities in Tokyo! I love your vlogging style. Which neighborhood of Tokyo is your favorite so far?
Thank you so much!! Flo really enjoyed Akihabara because he loves Pokémon 😂 Isabelle enjoyed Ginza a lot :) what’s yours?
@@isabelleandflo 🤣
I was very surprised to get this recommended on my UA-cam home page when it didn't have many views. But great video! I liked the shots and editing style.
your english and the pace of the video was great too! I don't like it when travel vlogs are too long, 10-15 minutes is perfect.
Thank you so much!! Really glad you like it 😊
if there is a line the food will be fresh and good
exactly! That's why we went to this ramen restaurant, because we saw the line 😂
Great video. Thanks for sharing😊
Thank you! 😊
SUICA card can be used department store, convenience stores, some restaurants,
some retail stores and vending machines. So please try SUICA card as a debit card.
You do not have to carry lots of cash with you.
Good to know! :) but we still need cash to top up the Suica then 😂
Welcome to japan🇯🇵🤍
wow we would love to go some day
It’s amazing! 😍🥹
i love the way how you introduce the pokemon cards at 11:20 haha
😂😂😂
Sehr interessantes Video 👍
Absolutely loved every minute from start to finish. Sure ope you visit Kabukicho after dark. Let me stop you there on saying Hotels are expensive. Only for those who choose not to do there home work in advance. There are hundreds of hotels that charge around $$30/40.00 per night. Yummy lunch. Outstanding from start to finish
Thank you very much Drew!! Appreciate your comment ☺ We actually booked in advance after a lot of research, but we still find them expensive compared to other countries we've visited. Thanks again :)
I was living in Germany and always found hotels really expensive. Japan has more affordable options. Also, yen is weaker so lucky you 😊❤
Yeah you're right! But we often travel to cheaper "backpacker countries" (Europe is also expensive for us). We found Japan quite expensive, especially Tokyo hotel prices (without the "welcome back offers").
nice!from Japan
thank you! 🙏🏽
Hya!~like.really breathtaking -see u around.✨
Thanks! 😊
Guten tag und danker chon from Vietnam. I just want to say"there are few video clips about Japan by German 💯👍👍👍
Love your video. What camera do you use to shoot?
Thanks a lot :) we currently use the Sony a7IV with a 16-35mm GM and 24-70 GM II. For vlogging mostly the first one of them.
@@isabelleandflo I am looking forward for your video from Japan content
9:00 It's actually not a plus, it's the kanji for "ten". The three characters mean forty (四十) four (四).
Ahhh good to know! 👏
Greating from Indonesia
Greetings to Indonesia from Japan! 😍
what camera do you guys use for vlogging?
We currently use the Sony a7IV with a 16-35mm GM and 24-70 GM II. For vlogging mostly the first one of them 😊
Thank you! 😊😍
Viel Spaß in Japan! 🙂
i would like to buy so games in akihabara! like persona 3 portable and persona 4 golden
Nice 😍
It's so good!!!
I will be going to Tokyo soon and I never traveled overseas before. I didn't know anything about getting a SIM card. I'm curious about that.
Just buy your SIM card from 7 Eleven at the Tokyo Airport. It’s the easiest way to get mobile internet in Japan, you will need it for translation 😋 There are different days/GB packages available and the SIM card will activate automatically as soon as you put it in your phone.
@@isabelleandflo Thanks for your help!
Maybe we can go next time! :)
@@isabelleandflo
I'd love to! Have a nice trip❤️
What camera and lens are you using?
We currently use the Sony a7IV with a 16-35mm GM and 24-70 GM II. For vlogging mostly the first one of them 😊
do the room really bad? (my impression from seeing flo face) 🤣
You mean the hotel room? It was good! We just were really tired because we didn’t sleep all night 😂🙈
I hit subscribe
Thanks a lot :)
The writing on the drawers are not in japanese. Its written in traditional Chinese
Welcome to my city, Tokyo 🥰 Simple question...you're from Germany but why is she wearing a T with Salt Lake City? I hope it will be Tokyo on it soon😁
Also, at 4:00 you are at the palace but you mentioned about Nihonbashi bridge .. the bridge is not but "Nijuubashi", which means double bridges. At 7:00 Sensouji is the Tokyo' oldest temple (over 1300 years old) but the Japan's oldest one is Asukadera in Nara built in 587 (over 1400 years old).
Anyway, please have a great stay in Japan ❣
haha yeah I just really like Utah, that's why 😍 thanks for the information!
Are you allows to take trains?
what do you mean?
@@isabelleandflo are tourists allowed to take the trains and metro like the locals, or are there restrictions to taking the metro?
2:22 You bought a SUICA but you bought a ticket?
Had to buy a ticket for this train using the Suica to buy it 😂
At least that’s what we think. Maybe we could’ve used the Suica directly too 🙈
@@isabelleandflo yeah, simply touch your SUICA to the ticket gate as many others do.
I started watching a bunch of other channels about couples in Japan. I'm single, so pretty much when I see this, I think to myself "The money some of these men spend on there women when traveling, I can use that on my solo travel, so it's not impossible for me to solo travel because if I had a girlfriend I would have spent that money anyway..so....more money for me."
As germans, were you guys initially shocked to see the manji symbol on the temple like in 7:44?
😂 we’ve seen it before in other Asian countries and knew it’s used here as well, but it always catches our attention and feels a bit off tbh
Hello 👍👍
Selamat siang!
You guys look a lot healthier after getting off veganism. Congratulations on leaving the cult!
