How to get him interested again by ignoring him? Does it really work?
Ignoring someone when you want to spark their interest is one of the most powerful things you can do. In fact, studies have shown that ignoring a person is pretty much the worst thing you can do. Human beings prefer a bad attitude or harsh words to being ignored…
So how can you use this to your advantage when the man you want has stopped giving you attention? Well the first thing to understand is that oftentimes, men are terrified of losing their independence. This means that even if he has a nice time with you, he’s still too afraid of losing his sense of freedom and independence, so he pulls way.
When you begin dating someone, you are already involved in the situation. If he starts to chicken out, you’ll start seeing him pull away, you might notice that he stops replying to your texts, he might tell you that he’s not ready, or you might even be faced with the famous, “It’s not you - it’s me.”
So of course you want to know how to get him interested again.
I can tell you that sometimes you’re going to reach your goal by doing the exact opposite of what feels natural. Instead of doing things to try and get closer to him, you’ll be ignoring him and this is what’s going to grab his attention. If you constantly make the first move to call or text him, if you’re always available to him, and if you’re giving him time and even sex, he’s just going to think, “She’s totally ready to be in a relationship, but I’m not.”

this is really urgent .. I love your videos , still .. I ignored him because of something he's done , and me ignoring him for the first day went good , the secong day he sent me an other mesg , and on the third day he called once and i ignored his call. after that he removed me from his social media . keep in mind that while I was ignoring him I kept posting stuff in my daily story etc , so it was obvious that I am totally ignoring him on purpose.

So.. here is my story. I fell for a guy that I kissed at a bar when I was drunk last year. I didn't really think much would come out of it considering that we didn't meet under ideal circumstances. On top of that, he was from a different state, and we met by chance (and I mean REALLY by chance since I never go out to drink, but the night I did... I ended up kissing him in the bathroom..well he kissed me passionately, and I will never be able to explain how random, romantic, and even wild the whole thing was) - and because the circumstances under which I met him were very particular, I felt kind of like he was special, in a way. He came back a month later to my state so that we could go on a proper date, and unfortunately after our lunch date, I felt like he was more concerned about meeting up the next day at night after his full day of business meetings. I told him I wasn't interested in meeting him at night, and I also told him that I genuinely wanted to spend more time with him, and although his trip in my state ended... he kept in touch, but things kind of fizzled..then he reappeared again like 3 months later. He literally texted me the day same day I had a trip planned with a friend (a guy friend as ironic as that is..I felt like he had a sensor of me having a good time, and then he reappeared in my life again)... so anyway, I told him I already had plans for that weekend (which I did). I didn't bend over backwards to try see him because I found it disrespectful that he reappeared out of nowhere, and then expected me to magically be free and open up my schedule for him so short notice. What happened then? He got upset. He didn't chase me after that. He basically wished me well, and we both left things alone. I didn't chase him either. I kind of thought he would reach out to me again at some point..and I began to miss talking to him. That is fine that I missed him (I'm only human), but the mistake I made was reaching out to him this year during the quarantine. I messaged him in August, and basically told him I missed him. He told me the same. But things weren't the same. He was definitely keeping his answers brief, and my intuition told me he was probably seeing someone else at that point (it had been almost a year since the last time we talk so it wouldn't have been unreasonable to think that he moved on), and anyway, I asked him if he was single, and he said he was. He also asked me if I was single. And the butterflies and feelings came back up again, and mostly the hope. But over a span of one month, I felt him pull away, and he would watch my stories on social media (he wouldn't ever miss one), but then he wouldn't ever start any sort of conversation with me, and one day I just snapped at him altogether, and it didn't end well. I basically called him out on his past tendencies of being a player. Everything I called him out on were facts because they were things he shared with me in the past, but just because they were true didn't make it right for me to snap at him. I think I felt hurt that I started feeling his distance, and when I told him off, I also asked him to deleted me from his social media..which he did. I can't go back. I messed up, and I feel like an idiot for snapping at him without me having a reason. He wasn't anything to me, so he didn't owe me anything. The worst part is that he is basically the one who stopped talking to me, and that hurts a lot because I feel like I causes a mess. I could have just left things as they were from the year prior, but no, I had to listen to my heart, and then behave according to my own insecurities, and as a result, pushing him away..probably permanently. I wish I could go back and change some things. I think I liked to imagine he liked me more than he actually did, and that he would fight for me. But I was completely wrong, and it hurts💔
Also, I felt terrible that I may have hurt him with my comments when I snapped at him out of fear of losing him. Ironically, I ended up losing him which is precisely what I didn't want😔. I did the last thing I could to remedy the situation (even in a small way), so I texted him and apologized for the way I treated him out of my own insecurities. He didn't respond. The apology text was about a month ago. I don't think I will ever hear back from him, and I am learning to accept that. I am feeling the pain now, and just getting through it. I am also using this experience to redirect my energy towards myself, and not a relationship with anyone else besides myself. The thing is, I wasn't looking for a boyfriend or romance when I met him, so that is what caused me to fall for him I think. I am back to the mentality that I don't want to date right now. I just want to focus on myself for some time, and enrich different aspects of my life before I even consider dating. There is definitely power in ignoring a man, and that is what I should have done since day 1 when I noticed he didn't put in the effort. But going forward, I am different because of the experience, and I plan on making myself the priority in order to be the best version of myself and keep growing as a person.
Someone else who is better will come along. Don't worry. Believe some of the best things happen unexpectedly. You deserve all the love and attention a man can give. He is out there, just be patient. I have the same hope for myself by the way.

I think the distance has definitely got him wondering what happened and didn't think I'd be able to do it because I put him on a pedestal. I see him making an effort to contact me here and there but he's not chasing me. He seems to either be really stubborn or lots of self control. He did tell me he can't do a relationship, only friendship because he's been hurt alot and now doesn't trust anyone. But when we see eachother he can't keep his hands off me. Not sure what to do? I still find him very attractive but am growing very tired of the situation...it's going nowhere. Maybe next time he texts I should just not reply and take the distance a little further as he's not replied to my texts a few times.

Hahaha I actually unintentional ignored my love when we first met online. I was so busy working on my channel and page and I thought that everyone on youtube is a friend, all casual. But I am so happy knowing him more than that because he is the only one who has the courage to asked me and meet him personally. Every other guy is either afraid or ignoring me. I love his vibe and presence because he makes me laugh so weird.
Just listened to your video. I've been with a man for a year. He's told me he lo bed me. I love him as well. But when things are good, he starts backing out. I don't hear from him for days sometimes for a couple of weeks. I get mixed signal s and we have talked about this. He started acting funny, we live 45 minutes apart. He was to pick me up on a Friday, to spent a few days. He called Thursday and said he doesn't know if he wants me over. He said he loved me and when he's with me he is happy we laugh and joke around. Then he said he's not sure he wants me to be around. It struck my heart. I gave my all to him. He says things that hurt me an d if I stand up fo r myself, he says I like to fight. I don't. I don't even like to argue, I'll stay silent instead of saying something harsh.
Since he said he didn't want me around, I stopped communicating with him entirely and I've stayed off all social media. I know he loves me, he knows I lo 've him. He's even asked me to marry him and move in January 2020. I'm confused, hurt, and down. But I'm giving all the time he needs by refocusing on me. I need down time for prayer and meditation. This really has me torn.
You’re doing the right thing by doing the no contact rule. Seems like he’s taking you for granted knowing he can do whatever and if it doesn’t work out with someone else you’ll be waiting for him. Also sounds like he’s a manipulator. Don’t let him walk over you! Be strong , Focus on yourself and what makes you happy. Know you’re worth more than that. I ignored him for 3 days after a visious fight. He ALWAYS COMES BACK AFTER 3 DAYS. But he was so vicious and vile on Tuesday to me. Blocked me on everything !!! Then 3 days later unblocked me to say he's sorry how we broke up, and how things ended, told me I deserve love from someone that deserves me and thanked me for everything then said good-bye to me! . Same text as every time b4, same 3 days pattern. But said good-bye, same. Then he waits for me to beg. He got flat out ignored! He over thinks and is very very jealous. Even though they both followed me first on Instagram I MESSAGED them first and therefore they both lost interest and never made any effort with me cause I guess why would they?! Now that i don't give a shit, he is texting 6 times a day.... and calling. I'm ignoring his games, this is crazy. I know I should have been a challenge, but damn I didn't listen to Alex, now I'm done because I feel I gave all and I might still not be good enough in the future😒

I went into NC for over a week then he reached out to me for legal advice for a situation he got himself into so I felt like I couldn’t ignore his text. I took the time to find resources for him that took a couple of days then when I gave him the information, he had already gotten a resource himself! Why did he do that?! Then I asked him a question about our relationship to get closure for myself that I didn’t think he would answer, but he did. I was so relieved and thought I was ready to move on, but now a couple days later, I’m still missing him just as much. I had to start back the NC but i feel he will not reach out again. I am working on myself daily and that is helping. Have I lost him for good?

I did this in my LDR of 7 months and he told me he doesn't chase. He actually didn't call either. His conversations were shorter. Guess he's not meant for me.

I was getting weak texts from a guy I had a very good date with, no sex. He made it clear he liked our date. I scorpio man played with my emotions, the worse part is that we r both coworkers, I ignore him yesterday through my whole shift and he kept coming to my cosmetics department looking for me, I lost count of how many times he did it. Then after I went home he texted me and said " I wish u luck finding a new love" I did not answered him at all and not planning too. The hard part is that I see him at work.
He cancel me last minute. Then saw me gave me a huge and apologize. I acted nice. I decided to start ignoring him. Guess who stop to say hi. 😂 it works. Single mothers are screwed... we are already carrying so much responsibility and don’t have time like single women to go out and galavant creating scenarios of being out and about and creating dynamic tension through making the man who lost interest to be concerned and worried that men are now captivating her attention. This would work for the single but not the moms with kids unless we neglect the kids by going out with friends and creating illusions that eventually once again the man might return but the whole cycle will repeat itself over and over again. Men like this don’t usually settle down.
