I was trying to be his friend while he got a girlfriend. He would call occasionally but I couldn’t call him. I hung in there for so long it’s crazy waiting for 8 months. I finally said I’m moving on and can no longer do this. So we ended up in no contact because I just got tired. It’s a relief not to have to wait for his call and I’m ready to try dating. I’m assuming this is going to affect him because I no longer feed his ego? Does no contact work if he has a relationship and it’s been 8 months and we are just now in no contact?
He has a whole girlfriend who he probably talks to every day and sees at least 3 times a week. Please be honest with yourself. Move on, work on your self esteem, seek God for healing and peace, get active so you can be happy, open yourself to real friendships with other men.
