- Boeing 747 - The End of a Dream | 747 History #last747 #747 #boeing #boeing747
The Boeing 747 has made his first flight on the 9th February 1969.
It has been declined in a lot of versions, 747-100, 747-200, 747-300, 747-400 and 747-8 Intercontinental.
The 747 is also the most used airplane for the fret with the 747-400F and 747-8F which are the biggest fret planes ever built.
After 53 years of service, Boeing stopped the production of this masterpiece in 2022.

Atlas 747 Captain checking in. Great video!
Ouaw, amazing !! Thanks for your feedback :)
Thank you for your service!
I built, with my crew, every pressure dome, horizontal, aft body and vertical since April 1986 ....... I am retired now and coming across this video made me cut some onions ..... I miss my friends. I miss the camaraderie. I miss the challenges. I miss the purpose ...... I have videos of the construction and subsequent repair I did to this last dome, AO#1574, and I cherish it ....... Thank you, Boeing, for a lifetime of great memories, extremely tough challenges, awesome pay, wonderful friends for life and the respect you gave us as mechanics. It is more than anyone could dream of having. It is more than I deserve .......... Just...... THANK YOU !!!!!!!! 🙂
This plane has a great history. Everyone will remember it for a long time :)
I will miss that massive bird. Thanks to the Boeing 747, it can be the most recognizable aircraft and glad that changed aviation history with a lot of passengers.❤
It may be sad but at least the 747 has served us for how many decades and proves a lot, not like the A380 that just lasted one decade and its gone now.
Yeah you're right, this plan had a insane life :)
380 will be around for another 10 years at least. However the 747 has served the world so well for so long, and it’ll continue to for decades to come.
Long Live the Queen of the Skies

I worked on the 747-8 for the start of its production: very cool time. Lots of trial and error with the new structure. It was a whole new design.
The last jet hasnt been delivered yet: takes a while to paint. Expect some kind of special livery at least a mark, for the last ever 747.
Amazing ! 😌✈
La reina de los cielos nunca morirá/the queen of the skys will never die
Yeah 😥
The end of an era, the 747's memory will never die.
Yes 😥
I don't think that it's the end of the road for 747s. They will be in the air for my lifetime anyway.
The icon of the XX century aviation
Yes 😥 Hope you have enjoyed this video :)
“” nothing is permanent “ very sad moments
They should've never ended this. Massive capabilities, and strong with many redundant systems onboard. Like flying a building. I love these planes. Flew one home with KLM in 1990 out of Toronto with my mother, sister, our dog and cat on our final move back to Europe. I was 13 and the sound and feel of her engines winding up and the acceleration down the runway was very impressive. We were a light load at the time. Very few people onboard. I guess it was because of the winter season. So I layed across the middle seats.
A sad end to a half century of innovation and service to the world.
Yes 😥 It was a symbol of aviation
The 747 debuted in 1969 I believe. It's been a workhorse all around the world. What a great design airliner and very few incidents for over 50 years. They cost too much to build And use too much fuel. 55 gallons of fuel a minute people. That's why no more 747
Yep, like the A380...
Interesting fact: when the 747 was being designed, the engineers were unsure if the hump would add too much drag. As it turned out, the hump actually provided additional unexpected aerodynamic lift! My first 747 flight was in 1974 (TWA), the last in 2016 (El Al), and many in between.
That's insane !! This plane is just magnificient 😌
This is weird - I flew on the 747-131 that eventually became TWA 800

Video title is misleading. It doesn't show the last delivery which hasn't happened yet.

Sad moment 🙁
Yes :(
Since they received 300 million dollars of ppp money and didn't need and refused to give it back to the government....I own part of that damn airplane!
Atlas air I should have said.
@@bmwlane8834 Yeha it's a pretty big deal. Thanks for watching !
