I just found out about this band accidentally few minutes ago on a different channel and I was totally blown away ! Now I understand why in the western world they don't advertise music bands like this one at all, it's because there's nothing in the western world in last few decades that comes even close to this quality ! These guys are absolutely amazing ! Definitely best male vocal I've heard in last few decades !
Ok, these guys are cool, but speaking about best male vocal... seriously? Even in Japan there is band called Anthem. I'm from Russia, and we have Гранд-Куражъ band with extraordinary powerfull vocalist (Elfimov), also there are a lot of cool vocalists in the west, for example listen Highlander The One. Most difficult vocal part in rock/metal history.
Such a well put together piece of music: the progressions, the rhythmic shifts, the melody -- and that solo. Simply a great hard rock song. And Norifumi Shima's guitar playing? Top-notch all across the board; including the cool nods to my hero, Richard Hugh Blackmore. :)
I have followed Concerto Moon for over a decade & I have several of the side project band's - Double Dealer - albums (Desert of Lost Souls is a must listen). These guys have always had serious talent. They have their own sound but you can clearly hear their influences in the music. Just my opinion, but they have filled in the gap that both Loudness (after they went grunge & disappeared from the Western music scene) & Yngwie Malmsteen (mid to late career complete bland & lack of originality) have left in heavy metal.
Check out Zenith, Takao Ozaki's former band. "The Last Betting" was originally a Zenith song. Other original Concerto Moon members were involved in that band.

I agree. They are very good. The guitarist can outplay Blackmore,in his prime and that is high praise. Best vocalist ? Nah. This guy is very good, but the best is Roy Khan.
Yes, that is him. It was his last album with Concerto Moon. If you want to go back in time and hear what he sounded like, check out "Savior Never Cry". I don't think he will ever be able to sing that insanely high ever again, but it's great he is in Jupiter now! That band is much better than ever before with a real metal singer.
