How to Forge a Farrier Rasp Tomahawk - Camp Hawk
Вставка
- Опубліковано 22 лип 2016
- Hey everyone! Here's the final rasp tomahawk for a while, this one is made of an entire rasp instead of just half of one. I've seen full-rasp tomahawks before, but wanted something with a wider edge, so I forge welded a piece of the rasp back in to make it wider. It's about twice the size of the smaller tomahawks I've made and is actually a great little camp hawk for splitting wood, carving, and throwing.
Thanks for watching and enjoy!

Thank you for the great video. I was thinking of good ways to make a throwing axe for my brother for his birthday and I think I will use this design.
Awesome job, Nick! Much better weld on this one, still not perfect, but definitely better than the last couple. With practice comes experience, and that is evident in watching your videos. You're well on your way!
Enjoyed the video, nice hammered toy, good stuff.
Great Vid as always Nick!
awesome hawk
This was a modern take on how how to do a tomahawk head with a very traditional handle. The handles at that time were designed to be interchangeable with different tool heads using a tapered handle. This same handle might be used with a froe or adze head.
WELL DONE! (including very good description of the process)
Very impressive I like how u explained everything 👍looks awesome
You are so talented, thank you for sharing your wonderful axe!!!👩🍳🇵🇱🇺🇸
