  • Working for someone like Elon Musk is obviously not easy. He's probably the most demanding CEO and boss, when it comes to putting in the hours and getting things done. But Elon Musk leads the way, and he probably works harder than anyone else in his companies.
In this video, a senior SpaceX executive and former astronaut, Garrett Reisman explains what is it like to work for Elon Musk. Enjoy!

My bro is an Asperger’s character, genetics scientist and I am high functioning. Laser focus and hyper concentration. My thing is reading complex reasoning and how to express it in writing. I can write arguments and essays for hours. And draw til I am satisfied. Most students I work with last 10 minutes and get bored and need to take a break. No stamina. It is the passion. But Elon’s supply chain is not acceptable sustainability wise - the components are sourced from dodgy Russian mines who have moved the indigenous people off their land. Human rights. That is not acceptable. I m glad I never bought a car as there has to be a better way to get around in the future without batteries and my bro turned down a Space AI post as they were also creating nuclear warheads. Elon is an engineer with a business degree. I m not sure he is as clever as my bro. My bro had no ego. But there is something there about not feeling pain. My bro also grew up in an abusive family like Elon so he switched off and disassociated by studying til 2 am in the morning at 14 yrs old. He does not feel emotions in the same way as nuero typical folks. I have high empathy. I m on the side of the indigenous people. Shouldn t we be saving the Amazon before landing on Mars?

Not true, Howard Hughes had his hands on many things that changed humanity.
Hospital Gurney, Satellite TV, Hearing aids, international flights, he also developed prototypes for a steam car back in the 30s, that was even more revolutionary and eco friendly compared to an electric car.
Hughes' problems didnt come later, he always had them, they just became more apparent in the later years. Hughes was a very complex man, of which some things I disagree with. He also suffered due to a lack of personal support, horrendous smear campaigns and numerous political and financial attempts to destroy him. If anything Musk could still learn a lot from Hughes, more specifically how not to do things.

Designed the first tank, painted the Mona Lisa, had things about the human anatomy in his journal that were only widely confirmed to be true hundreds and hundreds of years later. If anyone was a time travel, it was the great Leonardo DaVinci. If I could ever meet someone it would be him. A comparison that has a lot of parallels that are all attuned to nearly the same main objective or value, is to compare to Buckminster Fuller.
Fuller's stated objective in all his endeavors was to do whatever he could to help humans " become a success in the universe". Both seem(ed) to have inexhaustible energy applied to many projects of a singular and forward looking nature.
Mainly, seeing the big picture , having a comprehensive kind of vision that uses a "generalist" type of knowledge and approach rather than a on of a specialist.
