Birthrate: the average family in the US and other countries right now does not have the disposable income that they had 30 years ago. Birthrate is declining because the mass middle class can't afford kids now. It's not prosperity it's poverty and lack of security.

Consistent in over-promissing and under-delivering more like it. Don't get me wrong - many of the things are pretty cool. However, the biggest credit to give the guy would be his ability to talk a thing and make people believe in it no matter how inconsistent with reality that thing is. Not to mention the disregard for safety. People gasp at the launching and landing of SpaceX rockets (or the explosion thereof), but don't know (or rather choose not to know) about the accidents at Starbase, unpaid extra hours and all that. If making human kind an interplanetary species means bringing all that inhumane behaviour with us, thanks but no thanks. The guy claims he is not hurt but the way he behaves clearly says otherwise.
Again, I do appreciate the achievements of his ventures, but one should also be very careful not to give too much praise. Otherwise the person in question may also forget themselves and become a monster.

@@rbaleksandar SpaceX and Tesla have delivered more and quicker than any other in their respective industries. Try not to focus so much on "the guy" and his words and more on company performance. While safety at SpaceX needs improvement for sure, they are overseen by OSHA and CalOSHA. Also, many private companies don't even include safety records so it's hard to compare.

When I was taught Calculus, my math teacher completely skipped the applications section. He probably never used math for anything useful in his life. He just liked math and wanted to teach math, as though we were all going to become math teachers. Teachers generally have that bias. They teach you as though you are supposed to become a teacher. Problem-based teaching (learning) is the best. That includes relevance. The best teachers teach this way- it is more work for them, they can’t teach the same material at a blackboard year after year. The students learn skills they can use for a lifetime. At this time in history this would better serve students than blackboard memory work.

The Da Vinci Code was story-boarded by me. My designs of many technical drawings of machines, inventions and stories, got removed from my home. My control of the things I created design art of has been distributed worldwide to people who have released products of the things I designed, in detail, including some of the things people use or find handy today. My artwork of engines, vehicles, aircraft, motorcycles and hundreds of other things has seeded the minds of many an individual and the products they made using their dubious sourced knowledge are in the world available to its inhabitants. They include the EVs people like to rave about, rockets and satellites forming the communications network designed as the Internet I saw was necessary for my concept of a global communications system to be made possible. The myriad of unique product releases that were made, then brought together as the digital data-streaming service network now runs like clockwork, but I remain unknown for my work. Unless someone looks into what I have mentioned and rustles some feathers of the so-called "geniuses" often heard about or uses some other intelligence-gathering machine or method, to find out the true source of the missing information, those people who have produced the things I designed that they have been making available as products for people will continue to fool the people of planet Earth. I appreciate their work in the making, and marketing of my inventions but need the recognition I am entitled to. Robots were a part of my designs of things.

His enthusiasm is addictive, his honesty is Inspiring, his intelligence is awesome , his laugh is engaging and his appearance is both confidence building and so very handsome he makes women swoon. He is truly THE BEST MAN A woman could imagine. He is bringing all of us to a better place, and we should both stand beside and behind him no matter what... In our support. He's the hero we have all been waiting for. I pray God continues to bless and protect him.

I haven't read the book, but I've been saying for a long time, be very wary of humans who *think* they're highly logical providing rules and guidelines to an AI which may reach different conclusions.
Then.... Add the *fact* that eventually, like it or not, *Other* examples will be one aware of "your" AI and they *Will* engage in an ..... "Exchange of ideas".
      That could be.... "Interesting"

Would love to hear his thoughts on intelligentence/technology progression "download" to the next generation. In other words, how do we teach more, quicker, to get the next generation up to speed as we progress in knowledge/technology.

it shows that elon isn't really the sharpest tool in the shed
he likes to think that he's a genius visionary and he'd like you think that as well
but when it comes down to the hard concepts and numbers, he's clueless
that's what broke the illusion of musk for me, he talked about something I'm knowledgeable about and everything he said didn't make sense and was too shallow for someone who supposedly can see the problem and is solving it
it made me make take another look and a deeper dive on the things he talked about before which I didn't have a good knowledge of back then and just took elon's words as true

Canada and the USA are both corporations legally and on paper. It boggles me how many people don't realize this. It is the job of the government to make sure that the corporation is profitable. The government is not legally required to make their citizens happy. We have democracies which is great, however Canada and USA are both colonies of Britain. USA has claimed independence from Britain, Canada has not in the same way.
