I didn’t grow up with this franchise, in fact I watched them all for the first time at the beginning of 2019. That being said, I loved these movies and they really are magical! Deathly Hallows Part 2, Prisoner of Azkaban, and Goblet of Fire are my favs as of now! Sweet ranking man! -Chris

I like all of the movies and books. But the HBP movie left out to many of my favourite stuff (about Voldemort's backstory, especially). I can understand why they did it, but I'm still not happy about it.

If you his is movies goblet of fire had a problem in my list if it is books u good almost
I think you’re the only other UA-camr, bar myself, that I’ve found, who has Half Blood Prince as their favourite of the films. Everything from the score, to the performances, to the sense of foreboding in the final act, it’s the calm before the storm and basically feels like Part 1 of a three part finale to me.

@@ZachPopeReviews Zach this is my opinion but half blood prince isu very bottom it has added scenes that take away from voldemerts past which is a very very important idea and we do not see draco and snape much which is a big part and I do not need that romance in the movie it takes away so much

I really disagreed with that. Half-Blood Prince is by far my absolute least favourite in the entire series for a multitude of reasons. It replaced so much of the really dark and interesting stuff from the books into dumbass teen romcom stuff that really dragged the film down. The parts that I really enjoyed were the cave scene and Dumbledore’s death and funeral,
but they left out that battle on the Moon tower at the end.
This is actually perfect for me, I just rewatched the movies since I just finished rereading the books for the seventeenth time. Here is my rank. 1. Chamber of secrets

I don’t really agree that they are all five star films, because that is a classic case of just over praising a franchise. I don’t think all of them are great though. Some are underrated, and some a great, but a some of them are just good and not great.
Great Ranking, Mr Pope! I did the marathon a week ago, probably the 20th time. I really love all of the movies except Nr 10. They got me through some tough times in my childhood. Also, I'm rereading the books right now. I'm including the Fantastic Beasts movies and also giving my Score.
10. Fantastic Beasts. That was at once my favorite, but going back it's way too dark at times for the whimsical world I fell in love with. 65%
9. Chamber of Secrets. I enjoy it, except the spiders. They freak me out so much. Also the themes are too dark at times. 70%
8. Crimes of Grindelwald. Very enjoyable, great Cinema Experience, just waaaaay too many plotlines. 78%
7. Deathly Hallows Part 1. I don't enjoy that they rip the friends apart for a time and that so little is done. But the Ministry Infiltration Scene is fantastic. 80%
6. Prisoner of Azcaban. Really Great! Brings in my two favorite characters in this world in Sirius and Lupin. 90%
5. Sorcerer's Stone. So much Nostalgia!! 90%
4. Goblet of Fire. My favorite plot of the series, just too dark. 94%
3. Half Blood Prince. Dumbledore and Snape at their best and pure exposition. Very emotional. 96%
2. Deathly Hallows Part 2. Just epic! 98%
1. Order of the Phoenix. The most enjoyable movie and my most watched. The third Act is one of the greatest scenes ever! 100%

That's an unpopular ranking but I understand where you're coming from.
Here's my ranking:
10: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - It's not a bad movie, but it's just so... Weird? In a Sense? The First Time I Watched it I remember being disappointed.
9. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - I love that we're back on Hogwarts and I love the ending, Johnny Depp is Great... But the movie is just all over the place. I don't like some things they do with some characters but I still like this movie.
8. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - I do enjoy this movie for the most part, but I don't like the direction they went for. I really wish they explored more about Tom.
7. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - Really really like the movie but they removed some of the best parts of the book. I wish they didn't extend the Harry vs Dragon and used that time to maybe see the quidditch match.
6. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - It's a fun, light-hearted movie which sometimes feels too long but sometimes it doesn't in which case it's an amazing movie. But because it's a bit meh when it feels long I had to balance it out.
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - Very good movie and I like the more mature tone, but I wish it was a longer one. And the Ending was awesome!
4. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 - Such a great movie. I used to dislike this movie because I thought it was boring and there's no Hogwarts. Now I think it works.
3. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - This was an amazing introduction to the wizarding world and such an amazing experience seeing it for the first time. It's nostalgic.
2. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - I absolutely love this movie from beginning to end. So well executed and directed film. Lupin and Sirius are amazing characters as well.
1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 - This movie is just filled with action, emotion and epicness. Never gets boring or less than great. The Setup was worth it.

I have so much love for deathly hallows part 1 as well! My favorite though would have to be Prisoner of Azkaban. I also love both the Fantastic Beasts films. I really enjoyed Crimes of Grindelwald which is everyone’s least favorite 😂😭

Am I the only one who ABSOLUTELY ADORES the fantastic beasts franchise? Yeah I know the second one wasn’t that good, but honestly, it only makes me more excited for the next one!
I appreciate them too and they are truly underrated. Out of all the characters in the HP universe, I relate to Newt the most.

Because I do watch movies from a critic’s perspective, Crimes of Grindelwald would be fine, but it has serious pacing issues. I won’t say I didn’t enjoy parts of it though.

I've been triyng to rank them for more than 13 years now, so I won't attemp it today, I would just end up changing my mind tomorrow. I do know that I love love love all of them, but that my favorite is Prisoner of Azkaban. From the plot alone and the themes it explores, it's fantastic; Cuarón coming in and masterfully directing it is just a plus.
My least favorite used to be Order of the Phoenix, for various reasons really, but it's not like if I watch it, I dislike it, I really love it, so who knows anymore. Probably GoF takes the spot, but sometimes I'm really in tune with that movie as well, it depends on my mood.
Thank you for giving justice to DH P1. I think that movie is amazing. As you mention, it is all about the characters and of humanity. Also without much action there is still so much tension in the film and I think the situations keep you on the edge of your seat, from the possibility of someone finding them, to possibly hearing a characters name on the radio, to their journey into nowwhere. At times this film has elements also present in the first hour of endgame, of logan, at certain parts of at worlds end, and I love that. I think this film benefited from being a split up while pt. 2 got affected a little.

Nice Ranking very similar to mine.
8- The half-blood prince: It's so slow to get to the point of the movie. It has a lot of scenes with no explaniaton of being there....
7- Prisoner of Azkaban: Ok, kill me, but this movie didn't engage me as others did. From here, every movie is good, but i just don't like it... Idk why. I just don't like the concept and ending. Anyways it has many good scenes, Hermione, Ron and Harry already are teenangers, and, REMUS LUPIN. Who doesn't like him?
6: The philosopher's stone: Nice! I like the concept of the movie and the CGI is mostly good. I just dislike some acting coming from the golden thrio, but they are just kids so its ok. It introduces us to a brand new world, and yea.... that's it
5: The order of the phoenix: Ok, let me begin with dumbledore´s army. I loved it. I hated Umbridge, but it's her point so ya, that's pretty good. The battle of the department of mysteries is dope and the duel between dumbledore and "you-know-who" is also dope. But some things were really stupid, like Cho, she wanted to tell harry what happened, and he just ignored, and that was it.
4: The goblet of fire: i really like the concept and cedric. It feels so dark from now, and it has comedy gold. The trials where good, and the beggining... that's a bt at ad aspect. Also barty crouch jr. drama wasn't very "woah" for me.
3: Deathly hallows part 2: The perfect ending, the final battle, wich will define the wizardring world's future. 4 horrocruxes to destroy, epic scenes, and more. But many deaths where innecessary, like Fred, Lupin and Tonks. Also mcgonnagall said to lock every Slytherin. I mean, i thought she was more polite. And ron and hermione's kiss was a bit... Forced.
2: The chamber of secrets: I like gilderoy lockhart, just from the movies, he's funny to me. There's mystery, tension. People don't know what happened to the mudbloods, and the best quidditch match EVER. And the ending was also good, plus, hagrid's secret.
1: Deathly hallows part 1. I like the fact our heroes are alone, there is tension. There's no happiness, there's a crack between Ron and Harry, the horrocrux. They are forced to leave, forced to hide. I just love it. I love the tale of the three brothers, i love the fight at malfoy's manor... And dobby's death was SAD

No hate but list was trash. Probably worst Harry Potter list I’ve seen. U have my top 3 at ur top 3 worst. U have deathly hallows part 1 at number 2, no it’s the worst one out of all 8. The only respectable thing about this list is prisoner of Azkaban being number 4.
